it is nice for me to be able to talk to others about something else other than baby for a day and also i think we need that separation time from each other and he interacts with someone else.

I was not too worried going in the first day as I have been in a few times while on maternity leave and went in the week before for my handback so had the chance to get back into the feel of the office, everyone has been glad to have me back as work is so busy.
Still working out the names of new people as our dept has almost doubled since I left! I hsve to keep whispering to friends, 'what's is/her name?'

Hope Vicky is fine, FG1 also???

can meet any day except Friday.

Hi Guys
I'm so sorry I've been away so long. Mine's text has prompted me to stop being so lazy and get my computer switched on. It was out of action for a couple of weeks but that's no excuse.
Are you all well? All back at work? I should scroll back a few pages and see what you've all been up to.
Luc has a tooth now and is trying to crawl and walk - he hasn't decided which he fancies yet. This past week he has been a complete nightmare and doesn't want to sleep even when he is sooo tired. I'm exhausted. He's also waking up at ridiculous times in the morning and refusing to go back to sleep. Little love
Thursday would be better for me for a meet up. It will be good to see you and how your little ones have grown.

morning lovely ladies.

It was me that tried the soft play at Southbury Leisure centre. Its a much better one than Clown Town (the grot hole). We can go there is you like.

I'm going to a soft play at Edmonton Leisure centre today to try that one out.. not been before but its run by the same company that do Southbury LC too.... i shall report back!!

Southbury LC is handy for me. Not been to soft play before so looking forward to it. I'm easy on times.
Luc is much more his normal self now - slept 12 hours last night so I feel human again.

Hi ladies,
It was lovely to see you yesterday.

I can;t believe how much the babies have changed!!
Aaron is so alert, and Luc is hilarious!! He'll be walking very soon.

Off shopping for work clothes for me today and then to the supermarket.. what joy!

Ooooh the supermarket! It's often the highlight of my day How did the clothes shopping go? I've always had trouble shopping for 'sensible' stuff and end up buying shoes I can't walk in or a really dressy dress instead.
Luc slept loads today. It was wonderful - I finished my book.
Soft play was good - I'll definitely be taking Luc there when he's finding his feet.
Have a lovely bank holiday weekend.

Baby swimming this morning. It's so grey and murky outside that I can't really be bothered but will go and get ready. At least when we get home Luc is ready for a long sleep.
I would like to be lounging in a lovely big hotel bed with my room service breakfast on it's way to me....

Hi everyone,

been very busy with work. Ended going in last week 3 times. Took Aaron in one afternoon, the girls all coo over him. He loves screeching which doesn't help when the office is quiet!!!

Had a nice bank holiday, Saturday took it easy and Sunday we danced away at Carnival. Aaron loved it, what with all the bright colours and noise.

Tired but today is D-Day so hopefully from now on I should be much quieter at work.

Having a fun time trying to talk to people and keeping Aaron out of mischief as he tries to play on the keyboard or mouse or pull the phone.

Hope to get to see you all soon.

vicky i don;t know how you manage to get Luc and yourself ready in the changing rooms at the pool.... the thought of it just makes me tired!!

I;ve never taken Eren swimming here because i just can;t be bothered getting him sorted out after he's all wet.... at least on holiday i just put him on the sun lounger to dry off!!

How lazy am I !

Jackie - i sooo wish i could take Eren with me to work and hide him under my desk. I think he'd be quite content just to stay there all day

I wonder what Harri's been up to...?

Lots going on here too as DH has been on annual leave so we've been out and about almost every day. We've been to Warwick castle which was great as we got to see all the medieval (sp?) reenactments of jousting, archery etc... i love all that old stuff!
We went shopping in Selfridges too which was lovely as i finally got to buy my le creuset (sp??) dish.. first of my collection! I love all that stuff.

We're hoping to go to Canterbury tomorrow but knowing our luck it will rain all day.

I go back to work in 2 weeks .
I was looking forward to it until yesterday when i got an email from the office saying they have booked in an external meting for me to go to on my first day back with a major ad agency . All i wanted was a quiet first day back to find my feet again...... i don;t even have a computer set up or anything let alone do a bloomin presentation. I'm so dreading it now.

Enough moaning.
I'm off to start planning Eren;s birthday party......

We're off on holiday to the Isle of Wight for a week tomorrow. MIL has Luc this afternoon so that I can get packed and organised. Have to go out in the rain soon to get MOT.

Hi all sorry I've been so rubbish, dh had 2 weeks off so we have been all over the place and then started work 2 days a week last week boooo.
Was ok actually but the thought of it is horrid.
Had irst swimming in southgate today was great def advise it- changing is a nightmare now that erin is moving sooooo much.

Jaxs are you going to pushy mothers on weds? Be good to c u,

We should arrange a meet up monday/ tues pm are good for us let us know

Hi,
well, I have been so busy, so tired now, had to get up at 3.30am today to start work at 5.30am and trust my luck Aaron woke up at 2:30am for a quick feed. absolutely shattered, working and looking after baby is tough.
Harri - couldnt make pushy today as I was working at ship. I hope to make it next week, I'll see how I feel.

Mine - you poor thing, that's the last thing you need on your first day back. Could they not have got someone else to do it, or are they testing you???

Would love to take Aaron swimming as he loves water, will try it soon.

got a toy box for Aaron as he has so many toys now and we were piling up in his swing. off in a couple of weeks with DH family to spend the weekend in Dorchester to celebrate MIL's birthday. Looking forward to that one!!!

re meet up may be able to do next week, now I have to do all my invoicing from the previous weeks but sure I can give myself a long lunch.

I go back to work on monday but i won;t be working on wednesday so i'm free for a meet up if there is one next week.

I'm going to a christening on sunday... it one of dh friends, but we don;t see themn very often and i don;t know them that well..... what can i get as a christening present..?

Good luck going back to work mine, you'll be fine though! Not nice and a few tears guarenteed but honest you'll be fine, how many days?

WE have pushy mothers on weds 12.30-1.30 but meet up after in Palmers green sooooo either join us in the park or for coffee after!
Would be fab to see you and I bet eren has grown soooo much

don't suppose it was for Giggis evangelou was it? just that a friend of mine was christening her baby this weekend?
