Wow. Was there any sign of it? Did it come though overnight? We seem to have had a lot of teething but no teeth yet.

i've been waiting (not so patiently) for months! He's been showing signs for ages but nothing came through.
He got a cold and was really ratty with very bad diarhoea (sp?) then one night i felt a tiny sharp tooth and saw the white under the gum. He was ok during the day but in absolute agony at night. He just stays up for hours crying his heart out.

getting better now though.
Whats new with everyone?

hi all,

we had a relaxed weekend, went to a barbeque on Sunday, was ok nothing special.

went into london yesterday back to dentist to get my teeth cleaned and polished. They feel abs lovely now. With a baby so hard to brush and floss properly twice a day. took Aaron in the baby carrier this time round. oh so much easier this time on the tube than struggling with the stroller and he loved facing out to look at the world.

off to our first time parents group thing, its our session on baby massage. there's a mum there with twins, she seems to cope so well and she is breastfeeding them both 9 weeks old and hopes to do so for at least a year!!!

hope we can manage to meet up, as the next few days are going to be hot, maybe we can meet up in Town Park.

Anyone hating this weather. It is so hot poor little Aaron is sweating as he sucks away to quench his thirst. woke up 4 times last night for a drink, after the second time, I stuck him in bed with us and just gave him a boob when he needed it.

It seems everyone is so busy at the moment.

We are all off to the Innocent Village Fete on Saturday with my childless friends as I think of them now! hope the weather will hold up for it.

Jello, i've since promised mum i'd take her shopping for some holiday bits, so can;t make coffee today, but i'm pretty flexible next week. Are you going to be working full time?

I've been going into work for a few days here and there over the past few weeks, just to ease myself into in for when i go back formally in Sept. I'm only going ot be doing a 4 day week, but i'm still not looking forward to it.

Eren is developing nicely, he's trying to walk, which he does if you hold his hands, but no sign of crawling. i think he's going to skip that bit and go straight on to walking.
He's decided he doesn't like lumps in his food but prefers to eat chunks of food by himself... just makes an almighty mess. Oh and poo's whole peas just as he's swallowed them....
His walker is his favourite thing.. i think he's been watching too much TopGear with his dad so thinks Chicco is another name for Maserati!!

We all seem so busy now... hope we get to catch up really soon.

hi all,

my first official day back at work. only worked til 3 today but still shattered. slept most of the way home on the Tube. most of it came straight back to me.

working 4 days at work and 1 day in office but this week will be going in again on Friday so wont be able to do coffee this week.

Aaron now 17 weeks and started to chatter a lot, plus loads of dribbling.

Innocent fete was good on Saturday although during the afternoon we had a rainstorm. it was nice to see all my friends together in one place. one of my friends is now 13 weeks pregnant so I can now chat pregnancy and babies to her.
Harri - not sure if I will make this Wed Pushy mothers

hope to catch up with you all in the near future

Hey Jello, good to hear the return to work wasn;t too bad. There is hope for the rest of us then!!

I've been at home the last couple of days and today its starting to get on my nerves.. i wanted to take Eren out but then saw it was raining!! WTF its August!

I need to find something to do today.......

Mine -sorry you could not do last Friday never mind sure we will all meet soon.

Harri - so glad I did not do Wed, end of the week and I am shattered. I was really busy on Wed and Mum couldnt babysit so trying to do work and entertain Aaron at the same time. Should be easier next week and hope to make Pushy Mothers.

How is everyone else do. we must do a meet up. off for a walk around the block as poor Aaron hasnt been out all day. take care all.

Hi mine, erin is great so full of beans it's great, and how's eren?
come along it's good fun, lots of buggy pushing, quite fast then we do some exercises with a band and squats and lunges etc then more buggy work. It's an hour and then we go for lunch after hee hee!!!!!Weds 12.30 bandstand broomfield park.

Hi jaxs thought you must have been at work it's horrible that tired feeling at the end of the week and then still having to sort ot baby!!!!!

Question..... has anyone else had a 6month or 8 month check at their usual baby weigh in clinic??

Erin sounds like she is keeping you busy! Eren is the same, he's now started to work out that if he has a tantrum he gets attention.... i'm working hard to nip it in the bud, but DH is a softie so its starting to get on my nerves.

Anyone free this thursday for a catch up?

everyone is quiet on here recently!!

I took Eren to Sporty Adventure soft play at Southbury Leisure centre.... anyone else been there??

Its soooooo much better than Clown Town. Cleaner and better soft play for babies and toddlers.. oh and cleaner too! He really enjoyed it. It just gets so busy in there.

I went out today and bought a few bits of 'work clothes'.... can;t believe i have to start thinking about that now. I need a whole new wardrobe for work too as i can;t get back into my size 8's.... what happened to my body!!
Must have been all the TGI burgers i ate whiles PG....

DH and i have started talking about when we might have another baby..... scary thought but lovely too.

Anyway, whats new with everyone else??

Hi mine, my HV said that enfield don't do the 8 month review unless we feel that we need it!!!!! No money apparently.

How is Eren? When are you back in work? and how manny days are you in for?

HI Harri,

I went to the weigh in clinic last week and they said the same thing really (same as last time too), that they have not only put a stop to 8 month checks but they aren;t doing the one they are supposed to have at 2yrs old as well because they have run out of funding. She was really good about it, understanding why i was cheesed off. I was more annoyed at the fact that i have paid through out these years soo much money on tax and when i need to use the system, they tell me i can;t get the same basic post natal care that all other women get outside of Enfield!! WTF !

Oh well. She did go through a very basic check with Eren... can he sit up unaided, is he eating solids etc...

I go back to work in 4 weeks time. I'm really upset about it now to be honest, i'm really worried about going back. I wasn;t so before, but now as the time approaches, i feel sick just thinking about it

I go back 4 days a week..so i have wednesdays off which is good as it breaks up the week, but i will be working 8.30am until 4,30pm commuting into Leicester Square, so i won;t get home until almost 6pm.

I guess you don;t have very long until the schools open up again.... are you going back full time..??

Jello - how's it all going?? Any tips/advice on coping with it all!???!!!

Miss you guys loads. Fancy doing a REAL meet up. The soft play at Southbury Leisure centre is really good if anyone fancies it this week.

I've not got much on today, i did all my cleaning this weekend... even the dreaded oven!!!

Hi All,

my 3rd week of being back at work. The last 2 weeks have been rather exhausting even though I am working from home the majority of the time.

Getting into a routine though, I manage to get most of my work done while he is feeding or sleeping which is mainly the morning and then spend time with him in the afternoon.

Mine - Most important, is to have trust in whoever looks after Eren, then you dont worry so much. My mum looks after him so its ok. Also I always stay upbeat and happy with him before I go because i think babies can pick up on your mood. Up to now I think he has been pretty much ok.
Again, once I leave the house I just go into work mode and at work I just focus on what I have to do so that I make sure I get out on time. I don't ring as I know Mum will ring if she had a problem.

At work I have a lovely pic of Aaron on my desk which gives me a lift if I start to feel down.

Commute is not so bad as it is summer and lots of people away on holiday so at the moment I get a seat which means I can have a good snooze both ways.

Harri - i've got a wonderful cold after Wednesday getting wet. Hopefully will not last long.

I am off to hair salon on Friday to get a new cut and some me time, much needed as I have to work at the ship next week.

Up for a meet this week if anyone can do.

My mum is going ot look after Eren too so i'm completely confident and reassured he'll be looked after. Its whether I'll be ok going back after such a long absence!!
I know i'll be fine, i just tend to wallow in self pity now and again.

I'm up for a meet up. When is good for you?
Harri are you up for it?

Might text Vicky to see if she is ok....... not heard from her in weeks..... anyone else heard from her...??
