Any advice- took Erin swimming today and another chid bit her on her cheek really hard his mum told him off and have no probs with that but she has 2 teeth mark bryises on her face now , what will help the bruises to disappear quicker?

I'd have bitten them back!
Poor Erin.... she does have very yummy cheeks though!
Try Nelson's Arnica cream. Its a natural first aid remedy for bruises, it really works for getting rid of them fast.
I have some at home, but i don;t think i'll get to see you this week to give it to you.
Not sure how much it costs as it was given to me for free.

We're doing fine, Eren has changed so much these last few weeks in soo many ways.
the holiday seems to have brought out his personality.. and his vocal cords

I'm defo up for a meet up next week.... i'm in Enfield Town on Tuesday around 11'ish if thats any good for anyone else.

I'm going into the office tomorrow for a big dept meeting and also to discuss my return to work terms.. i was looking forward to it, but i'm dreading it now too... but i'm not sure why.
I'm sure it will be fine.

Hi all
I can't do a meet up this week but can definitely do next week - but can't make Tuesday or Friday mornings. Any other time though.

Poor Erin - these babies aren't very gentle with each other. I try to keep Luc's grabby little fingers away from other kids.

Had second swimming lesson with Luc today and he really enjoyed it. I got a bit hot and bothered trying to get us both dry and dressed though.

Right, off to wash bottles. God I hate that job.

Hi All,

FG1 - can't do this Thu now, off to see my bank counsellor, need to sort out my finances, thank God I can tell him I will be back at work next month. How do they expect people to live on the miserly SMP the govt pays out!!!!

Can do next week nothing on.

Sorry to her that ~Harri about Erin, hope she's not too shaken up by it. Arnica cream is a good solution as Mine said.

I'd love to take Aaron swimming, will have to wait I think until Sep/Oct when my main workload is over when I can then take the time off.

Anyone free for meeting up on monday...??
I went into work for a meeting yesterday. I left DS with my mum for most of the day.. it was a good trial run for all of us for when i go back full time.
It was a weird and surreal experience. Its like i'd never left!
I went with plenty of time to spare for a 1pm lunch meeting then a 2pm board meeting, only to find that when i got there the meetings all moved to 3pm!!
I enjoyed being back, but the bloomin meeting didn;t finish until 6.30pm, and that was because i said i had to go and pick up DS from my mums... so had to rush back from Leicester Square to pick him up and put him to bed.
I barely saw him

How is everyone...??

it is surreal isn't it, I start back a week today but only for 4 days before summer hols, have been in twicw and like you say like you've nver been away!!!!
Monday sounds ok at the moment but it all depends on the car situation.

Hi all,

Monday fine, for me, wherever.

I'm going back to work begin Aug. Although I'll be working mostly from home will need to go in a few days in July for hand back. Aaron is being quite clingy at present and not taking to my Mum, he's fine with Dad so may need to call him in for baby sitting duties.

Still soldering on with the bottle,he's taken a little bit but still prefers his breast!

Hi Mine- no courtesy car through insurance as she is disputing the claim- if I'd crashe into her though I'd have got on no problem- go figure!!!
The garage have given me a car temp, but i find out tomorrow about my car so they may take it away by the weekend. Sooooo we will let you know about monday

Hi! I saw all my work collegues last week at a wedding and left ds with m-i-l for the first time for so long! He was fine and didn't miss me at all! Everyone at work asking when I will be back...can't imagine going back!
Not sure about Monday yet- will let you know.

Hi All,

been a busy weekend, we went to the Kenwood Classics prom on Sat night and then to the World Music Village in Hyde Park today. Wasnt sure about taking Aaron but in the end we did and had a great evening and day. Mucho tired though after it so looking forward to a restful week. Hoping all this fresh air today will make him sleep through the night.

I guess no coffee on for tomorrow. how about nearer the end of the week Thu or Fri?

jello you're day/night out sounds very grown up and civilised!!
I've been busy since we got back from holiday... not sure if i mentioned that my sister and her boyfriend came with us.. we he proposed in Egypt so i've been assigned as wedding planner because "I'm at home all day with nothing else to do!".

So I'm in full wedding planner mode. We went to a couple of wedding dress shops on saturday... OMG! I want to get married all over again just so i can have a fabulous new dress!!
Mum made a fish BBQ yesterday which was yummy.
I'm up for a coffee on Thursday or friday.

Hi all! I am in my new house - lots to do but good fun! Ali has been sleeping in his own room aswell! I haven't got internet access so can't log on everyday. I'm planning a BBQ this Saturday with our family but I haven't got any food or a BBQ! Any ideas for quick and easy things to make? May be free on Friday morning if you are meeting up.

Mine- Congratulations on your sister getting engaged! Its so exciting planning a wedding!

Harri- good luck going back to work. How long did you take off for maternity leave?

Hi all
Sorry I've been a bit quiet lately - I just seem to be out and about a bit more and not on my computer so much.
It's Luc's last Musical Minis on Friday morning before it stops for the summer so I won't be able to make it this week. I'm going to have to find something else to take him to until September as that and the swimming are good for getting out of the house.
Mine - I'd love for someone to put me in charge of organising their wedding. I know exactly what you mean about wanting to do it all over again. I loved my wedding day but it went by so quickly.
FG1 - lots of garlic bread in the oven to go with whatever you bbq always goes down well.....God I love garlic bread
Dh has arranged a night out in London as a belated birthday do in August and has booked a hotel to stay overnight with the plan being that Luc goes to his mum. I'm know I'm going to be so worried about whether he's happy and if he's sleeping or getting all out of his routine. I never thought I'd be like that now he's this age. I think it's mainly because he doesn't see my mil alot like he does my mum and she doesn't really stick to my instructions for him - but she's really looking forward to having him so I can't make other arrangements.
Anyway, have fun on Friday and I'll hope to see you next time.

i'm sure Luc will be fine Vicky - they always are well behaved for others but start playing up when mummy is in view!

Eren had started doing this a while ago.. he had better snap out of it before i start work or its going to be really hard for me to leave him at my mums... I'm sure i'll cry all the way to the tube station.

Is anyone else having problems with lumpy food...?
I'm hoping its a phase, but Eren never used to mind them much but recently started gagging at the slightest whiff of a lump and gets really sick.
Today he's started to refuse all foods and liquids, and just wants to sleep all the time. His eyes are swollen too so i'm not sure what's wrong with him, but i think we may have to visit the GP.

Feeling very frustrated recently.

FG1 - hope the BBQ goes well. Most BBQ things can be made the night before and taste better that way anyway... potato salad, pasta salad..... If you just want to through things in the over and forget about it, try roasting some aubergines until they are really soft, then just scoup out the soft flesh and mix it with garlic, basil and fresh chopped tomatoes. Yummy, impressive and not much effort at all.

Harri - how's the car and Erin..??

Jello - have you started work yet??

Hi all,

2 weeks to go to work, not thinking about it too much.

Harri, lovely to see you at pushymothers. I'm ok at the moment, will see how I am tomorrow. That's the hardest I've exercised since I became pregnant. Enjoyed it loads and looking forward to it next week.

As a meet will be out I guess for this week, anyone up for next week to catch up properly? not available Tue or Wed Aft's.

Hi all,
FG1 congrats on new house- bbq loads of salads- cous cous, rice, pasta, easy to preapre early then leave in fridge, kebabs with loads of chunky veg agin easy to prepare. Enjoy.

MIne- no car at all now just waiting for ins company so fingers crossed, my car written off and gone now. Erin is abs fine though.

Back at work yesterday and today v. strange but had a great welcome home.
Erin not enjoying lumps either will keep trying though- the gagging is horrid though.

Jello- was gd to see you and meet DH too, see you wednesday

no car!! That must be hard. I wouldn;t know what to do without my car.
Glad to hear they welcomed you back to work.. it makes it easier doesn;t it. At least you have 5 or 6 weeks off until you have to go back properly.

Our household is a mess at the mo... Eren is full of cold, i'm hoping the lumpy food thing is related to this so it shouldn;t last too long.
I'm going back into work on monday afternoon, strangely i'm not dreading it anymore.
DH isn;t helping out as much with Eren as he used to, but he's working horrible shifts at the mo so i can;t blame him too much.
I really miss lie ins ............. all i want it to sleep through to 8am.... is that too much to ask??!!

I'm trying to get more exercise by walking loads around parks, shops and anywhere i can.

Hopefully we can REALLY meet up very soon. So much to catch up on.
Good luck with the BBQ this weekend FG1. Let us know how it went and what you cooked. I love nosing into what others cook!!
