Yay have just booked our holiday!!!!!

Is enfield town at 11 am ok for tomorrow? you can park in tesco's (next to royal mail sorting office on southbury rd)4 free for 2 hours and walk down - about 5 minutes.

Hi Ladies
Afraid Iwon't be able to make that time tomorrow. To be honest though, if Luc is the same tomorrow as he is today then I don't really want to take him anywhere. he is teething with a vengence and has been inconsolable for most of the day. I've tried Calpol, teething gel, Nelsons teething powders, cold drinks......
I've put him to bed early as he has hardly slept today and I just couldn't bear any more

Sooo sorry erin fell fast asleep and didn't wake til 11.30 was 12 by the tinme we got there jello and mine were there by that time

FG1, so sorry, we too were late as Eren had a doctors appointment and they were running quite late. We did make it for 11.45, but you'd gone by then.

Hey Ladies
Everyone has been very quiet these last few days. Are you all busy getting on with life in babyworld?
I'm frantically tidying the house today as my mil is visiting this afternoon. I know it will never come up to her standards but if it looks ok to me then that's good enough.
I took Luc to Musical Minis last week and he loved it so I've paid up for the term. I'm also booking him to Waltham Abbey swimming pool for lessons - hopefully to start next week. They are much cheaper than anywhere else I've looked and they have a fantastic children's pool.
I don't think I'll be able to manage a meet up this week but how about next week? Monday, Wednesday, Thursday are better for me.

I wanted to take Eren to a more play/group sessions and muscial mini's sounds good. How much does it cost and are there local ones in each area..??

I'm just gearing up for our holiday... just so much to think about.
Have been a domestic goddess today..... cleaned house, washed net curtains, cooked sheppard's pie for tonight and a chilli for dh tomorrow to take to work.
I've got friends coming for a chinese take away tomorrow night so thats my dinner sorted.
I'm also going out shopping with mum tomorrow too, which is always great as she encourages me to buy loads!!

My diet isn;t going very well at the mo, i just can;t help eating EVERYTHING!!
Not good considering i'm trying to get into my summer gear for next week... oh well.

Right, bath time for ds now. He puked up his dinner.. it was not pretty. I tried him on some Heinz jarred food and he didn't like it at all. But loved my homemade strawberries and cream concoction!

we had our first family day trip out on Sunday when we went to Beaulieu in the New Forest. DH is a mini fan and they had a rally there. So much to pack for a day for the just in case scenario but we managed to get out a hour later than intended.

It was a good day but it was so hot so Aaron was very thirsty and spent a lot of it feeding him.

Getting my hair done tomorrow. My friend reccommended someone who can come to my house so I don't have to schlep to the hairdressers.

A friend of dh was in yesterday to start on our garden, it needed it badly, it was a bit of a jungle. When it is finished I hope it will look as nice as the other gardens in the street.

Vicky have you taken Luc swimming before? I took my ds today for the first time. He didn't know what was happening to him but didn't seem to mind the water and was more interested in eating the rubber ducks!

Hi all! Whats everyone upto? Builders finished at our new house last week, finally! Just waiting for carpets and then we will move in. Now I've the mammoth task of packing- i just don't know where to start!!

Its been a slow few days.Barely been able to get it together, we've rather lost our routine since last week.

Took Aaron on Fri for his head massage and got my shoulder done too at the same time, feels a lot better.

i'm up to meet if you want, not sure who else is around, but promise to try to get there on time.

I seem to have been really busy the last week or so but not doing anything exciting. Saw Sex and the City though (finally got a babysitter)which was great as me and dh both love that show.

FG1 - good to hear about your builders finishing. My extension is finished now too and I love having the house to myself again after so many months.

Jello, what happened to throw out your routine? It happens though. Luc's teething has been interfering with his sleep a bit lately and that can affect his whole day. You just have to take it as it comes and try again the next day. I bet Aaron has really grown since I last saw him.

I can make tomorrow or Friday afternoon if that suits you guys. Enfield town would be better for me - coffe or park?

Hi girls, Friday afternoon would be better at this stage though can do tomorrow. Enfield Town is fine as I can do some shopping as well.

Vicky31 - the routine seems to be due to a number of things. night is not too bad, trying to get him to sleep for a good hour during the day is not happening though. Will not settle anywhere except for my arms.

FG1 - let us know re meet up.

Jello, Luc slept better in my arms too during the day for a good few months and I just let him (I liked having him cuddled up there while I relaxed and watched trash tv). Eventually I had to get some semblance of a life back and have my arms free to do some stuff around the house so he had to go 'cold turkey' in his cot (he took to it really well at around 4 months). Don't worry too much where he sleeps for now.

thanks for the advice. my only worry is that i hope he is getting enough sleep. he's so alert that even though he is yawning he still wants to look around.
