Just curious really, as to why it might be

it's a soft play place behind tescos at bar hill. it is HELL ON EARTH.

DamonSalvatoreIsMyLoveSlave · 03/03/2012 20:59

Oh I'm often at whale of a time with my two little ones. I dont mind that one actually... (although I still look forward to the day I never have to step foot in a soft play again!)

EauRouge · 03/03/2012 21:12

I'm lucky there is a small soft play at the nice cafe in my village, I think they do sell fruit shoots but the home-made carrot cake makes up for it. Probably a bit far out of the way for Cambridge MNers though.

TheFowlAndThePussycat · 03/03/2012 21:32

Yeah, whaler time (as dd1 calls it) is the least worst soft play option. We're there pretty regularly.

sairygamp · 04/03/2012 10:59

Still waiting for emma to tell me how to make myself known to her at Morley tomorrow....

overmydeadbody · 04/03/2012 13:31

Never been to whale of a time as we live within walking distance of Funky Funhouse, which is also HELL ON EARTH, but luckily for me DS is right on the height limit so I'm hoping we never have to go there again

Wish someone had come forward who goes to DS's school, I'd love to give a secret MN nod at the school gates tomorrow.

Have fun Morley lot!

I would love to know if there's anyone I know in RL on here. I'm sure there must be. Although I'm not very sociable as I only do upper school runs and never get out the car!

Maybe I know ruby or bonkers ....ooooooh

DamonSalvatoreIsMyLoveSlave · 04/03/2012 14:52

Funky fun house at least you don't have to worry about getting a parking space though, which is nigh on impossible at the weekend and school holidays

I doubt anyone is on here from my son's school as we are just outside cambridge although I never mention to anyone in rl that I go on here because of my irrational fear of being outed! Okay I'll man up, my son goes to bourn school.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 04/03/2012 15:57

I am sure there is another MN'er fromcambridge that hasn't surfaced yet, I mentioned cheeky monkeys at fulbourn in a thread a while ago and I am sure she knew the owner (or maybe was the owner in disguise - whoknows?)

sairygamp · 04/03/2012 16:05

Funkytorturehouse I like to call it. It Is Vile.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 04/03/2012 16:12

I have managed to get away with staying at cheeky monkeys under the guise of ffh being too big for ds2 but he is nearly 6 and it really isn't true and ds1 at nearly 8 is really too big for cm,, I just can't bring myself to make the change!

sairygamp · 04/03/2012 16:15

just don't do it. Really, you will come out shaking and shuddering and needing help.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 04/03/2012 16:30

was it you ruby??

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 04/03/2012 16:30

btw cambridge ladies is it snowing with you??

DamonSalvatoreIsMyLoveSlave · 04/03/2012 16:32

Yeah it was snowing here about half an hour ago.

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 04/03/2012 16:34

it is really coming down here and starting to settle on the grass, I kind of hope it continues - but not enough to close school tomorrow I am having my hair cut!

sairygamp · 04/03/2012 16:34

Yes! came out of the gym, having gone in there in sleeting rain, to be enveloped in sodding snow!

DamonSalvatoreIsMyLoveSlave · 04/03/2012 16:39

I'm miserable when it comes to snow - glad it's not settling!

ImLocalTtoo · 04/03/2012 17:03

I'm in a village SW of Cambridge. I have name changed as I like to keep MN an RL separate. A decent stalker who knew me in RL would be able to identify me on MN that's if DH doesn't accidentally give me away as he knows my MN name. I have an 18 month old DD and would be interested in meeting up with others with little DC.

ChasingSquirrels · 04/03/2012 17:03

Sleet here that is settling, but I don't think it wil stick that much.

Throughgrittedteeth · 04/03/2012 20:10

Hello! I'm nearish Huntingdon too but I'm often in the Chesterton area. I go back to work on the 1st Sad but should you find yourself in Lion Yard I work in quite a mumsnet shop..

NeverKnowinglyUnderstood · 04/03/2012 20:11

OOh intrigue what is a mn shop?

Throughgrittedteeth · 04/03/2012 20:21
