Wow we filled the thread guys. So as I was about to Say UR you've probably had squirrel if you've eaten Chinese . Think I've had most things. Just don't ask eat. Roasting hot here, very busy but having a blast. Enjoyed our new gym yesterday and picnic in the park tonight which was wonderful. Live music, handsome young men - need I say more.

They're even easier than real potatoes. You just bake them, and they get all mushy eventually, and pretty much mash themselves when you open them.

I don't know, I'm not really big on measuring. I'd say 3 or 4 depending on the size.

Did not know the pumpkin thing, and would never have guessed.

ShyBaby · 24/11/2008 01:16

Dooney..you're here! How are you all?

(Hyjack yet again.)

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 01:41

Ok, will bake then mash. Thanks!

Shybaby, are you a US MNer?

dooneygirl · 24/11/2008 02:09

We be much better, thanks. I still haven't downloaded the pics to send you some. Maybe after Thanksgiving. I still have a pretty bad cough, but DH took over, and I took a bunch of Benadryl and cough syrup last night, and managed to get some sleep last night and a nap this afternoon.

Shybaby is my first MN friend, but not in the US. I've been talking to her since before Caitlin was born. If she doesn't pay attention to me, I threaten her with really bad Christmas Carols until she lets me know how she's doing.

alipiggie · 24/11/2008 03:55

dooney you need a hot toddy, not benadryl . And yes skiing not because of ex, but then haven't sampled his lover's cooking yet have I. We're off to see and have photos with Santa tomorrow yeah. Lost a Santa sack here (sniff) M&S one, so had to go and buy two more of course as the boys always want to be the same. And Clarks shoes for kids have arrived in Colorado. Yeah. Sorry but I love the width fittings for my ds's as one has very narrow feet and one wide. Ds2, got the most gorgeous pair of boots/sneakers today. Happy mummy with an extra 25% off. And I treated myself to some lovely brown boots two. Last pair from 3 yrs ago still going strong.
Just need to buy some mince meat and the big pressies and I'm all sorted. Amazon for the wrinklies at home. Yeah.

Xmas tree goes up on Friday as well as all the other deccies. Getting really excited. Now all we need is SNOW. And lots of it.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Please, please don't mention the "s" word Ali! I am trying to delay the inevitable as long as I possibly can! I think it's actually too cold to snow here today. Bleugh.

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 04:32

Aw, Dooney. How lovely to have an old MN friend.

I don't want snow yet either.

Mananny, are you in contact with Anorak? I was wondering how she is. Will email soon, promise!

mananny · 24/11/2008 04:35

I emailed her and will be seeing her next weekend

Am super-crazy busy with school but hope to hear from you soon!!!

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 04:42

Oh, how exciting! A meet-up. I imagine you both spending all afternoon chatting away at Tealuxe.

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 04:48

Tablet recipe for Cali

mananny · 24/11/2008 04:50

She might not make it to Tealuxe, but thanks for reminding me it's there! I miss a decent cuppa.

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 19:44

I used to get the Vanilla Tea which is odd because I am usually a bit of a tea purist. But it was delicious. A walk through the Public Garden, then tea. Yum.

Hope Anorak is ok.

SuperBunny · 24/11/2008 19:53

Oh Cali, someone just posted on my Freecycle for a Turkey. At first, I thought it was a bit unlikely that someone would have a spare but then I thought of you. How many do you have now?

jabberwocky · 24/11/2008 19:54

Hello everyone!

Cali, glad to hear you are taking the turkey fryer seriously. It is truly delicious done that way but the actual cooking part scares me too.

I have done very little in the way of holiday plans. Ds2's birthday was Saturday so it's hard to think about Christmas until after that.

anorak · 24/11/2008 22:58

Hello everyone. I'm back in the hotel. The op went really well. I'm very sore but look forward to looking and feeling much better soon.

And oh how lovely it is to have my internet back

So, Califrau...when does the scrabble tournament start then?

Anorak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad it went well. I've been thinking of you since Friday.

The turkey came out of the freezer today. That stupid 20 pound bird takes up a lot of fridge space.

jabberwocky · 25/11/2008 03:15

Good to hear from you, anorak. I'm so glad the operation went well. Here's lifting a glass to speedy recuperation

SuperBunny · 25/11/2008 03:34

Anorak! Hope you feel less sore very soon. So glad you are out of hospital and it went well.

Cali, are you still play scrabble with me?

SuperBunny · 25/11/2008 03:59

Sorry Cali, you already went. It was my turn
