Just had good news and now know that we definitely will be based in Chatswood

Glad the pool party idea gets a resounding thumbs-down. When I crashed in at 2am and woke up my husband I said god, I had a brilliant time but it was like a mash-up of Sex And The City (them) and Monk (me).

Hope you get your mini-bottles through airport security. I forgot I had DD's nail scissors in my handbag so they went. Now she looks like Baby Scissorhands. Must get another pair today.

I vaguely remember the fishy mash. The food plate was a bit of a blur I must admit. There was a random stain on my jeans the next day!

Please no pool parties. That would involve tidying up the lady garden which quite frankly I can't be arsed doing.

I have a "farmers wife" for a lady garden at the moment and agree VF cannot be arsed to tackle it! So def. NO to pool party maybe until the summer.Pool party sounds like a swingers night anyway....

Ah, no, it's one of life's big lessons. 1. Pay full attention when you are using superglue and 2. there is no way to be glamorous with curly hair.

Very kind ND but I felt like a fish out of water compared to the young niblets around us.
I'm sitting in my Dh's jumper and a huge pair of PJ trousers with hair verging on the greasy side, if that helps.. Oh and realised earlier that all day I had one boob hanging out of bra underneath my top (obviously). One boob up and the other one hanging down - what a complete tit.

May I suggest for the next happening to start of 'civilised' in a nice little restaurant to entice people to join the group who are not as seasoned drinkers as the ones tried and tested at the Opera Bar? It's always good to have a good base for the alcohol to slosh against?

Actually MrsBigD you may be on to something there! I don't know if I could cope with another hangover like the last one!

ND - interested to know how you were the next day...bet you were off shopping in the city followed by a quick bloody mary at lunchtime, you devil!

Could we make the next meetup before aug 2nd? I have to go back to the Uk for 6 weeks after that and would hate to miss out...
