Hi all

It’s Kerr here, I wanted to post a quick update as I’m conscious Pamela hasn’t been on for a few days and the thread seems to have reached its limit.

Pamela hasn’t been feeling so good over the last few days - on a positive note, her bloods seem to have stabilised and, all being well, she might be ok for chemo round 2 in the next couple of days. She had a blood transfusion yesterday which, we hope, will also boost her energy levels. On the downside, her jaundice has returned, the bilirubin levels are increasing significantly. The CT scan at the beginning of the week showed no new blockages and our Consultant thought that some early necrosis of the tumour after the last chemo might be contributing, but nobody really knows what’s causing it. Further discussion to take place tomorrow. Seeing the jaundice is one of the worst parts of this, it’s so clear and obvious when it’s happening yet there’s nothing we can do to alleviate it.

Just wanted to let you know the latest. Please, please keep praying for her - she’s my everything, my world, and every thought and prayer is deeply appreciated.

Kerr

I am so very sorry for your loss ❤️❤️

Batalax · 03/08/2023 20:13

The fake thread was so wicked and it’s such a shame that such a lovely supportive thread has been soured. I hope that you can focus on the love and warmth that has been sent towards your beautiful wife and her family. ❤️

Hebditch · 03/08/2023 20:17

Thank you so much for sharing this- I am speechless and horrified by the news that the thread I read this morning and posted a response to was a fake. Pamela’s legacy of bravery and honesty and her clear love for her family will live on. Our love and prayers to you, Kerr and your family. Laura x

wannabetraveler · 03/08/2023 20:22

I'm so sorry to hear your news and horrified by the fake post. Pamela's love for you shine through in every post. May her memory be a blessing.

herbygarden · 03/08/2023 20:22

Kerr, I am so terribly sorry for your devastating loss. What a wonderful woman you were married to and how incredibly lucky she was to have you by her side, this shone through from all her posts. I wish you and your son all the very best as you try to come to terms with your loss.

I obviously only knew Pamela through her posts, but she was a true inspiration and you and your son were the most incredible support and comfort to her. Sending you all much love. Xxx

William1992 · 03/08/2023 20:52

I am so very sorry for your loss Kerr, Jacob and family ❤️ reading her heartfelt posts made me think what an absolutely amazing lady she was - I have been thinking about her often and hoping against hope that the outcome would be different.

They do say that god only takes the best and Pamela sounded like one
of the very best. Keep each other wrapped in love for the days, weeks, months and years to come and take comfort from the fact you were lucky enough to have Pamela in your lives - lots of love

MissHoollie · 03/08/2023 20:54

Thinking of you all.

StressyErica · 03/08/2023 20:54

So sorry for your loss. Pamela sounded like an absolute legend. 💕

Chubbydoll · 03/08/2023 21:06

So sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you all ❤️💐

LanaDelRaybans · 03/08/2023 21:34

This is so incredibly depressing, I had so much hope for Pamela. She deserved to live, she deserved to bask in the glow of her adoring husband and loving son for many many more happy years. There are no words to express the unfairness. @WilsonMilson gave so much more than she received here, she made us stop and think, she made us pause and open our hearts, she brought us to a gentle standstill as we all stood in solidarity with her. I hope yourself Kerr, Jacob, and the family, find a way to heal over the coming months and years. ❤️

LanaDelRaybans · 03/08/2023 21:37

Also, I didn't see "thread 7" but whoever you are, whoever made a conscious decision to make that post, know that you're an absolute bastard, there is so much detest and disgust for what you did that karma won't let it slip by, have the life you deserve you heartless sicko.

rossogingerale · 03/08/2023 21:39

So sorry for the loss of your beautiful Pamela, may she rest in peace. Love & strength to everyone who loved her X

zebrapig · 03/08/2023 21:43

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sending you, Jacob and the rest of your family so much love. I've followed her threads from the beginning and was desperately hoping for a different outcome for you all. Rest in peace Pamela Flowers

MyPuppyLulu · 03/08/2023 21:55

I haven't posted before now, although I've followed this thread with a leaden heart since the beginning.

We lost a close family member in 2022 in the same way, just 6 weeks from first symptom to death.

The only bit of comfort I've managed to take is that whilst it was horrible for us to lose her so quick, the speed actually meant it was less pain for her. This is the only thing I can hold on to amidst the "unfair", "unreasonable", "too soon". And the fact that it has been so much better to know and love her for a short time, than it would have been to have never known and loved her at all.

I'm so very, very sorry Kerr and Jacob. You are in my thoughts xx

SapphireSeptember · 03/08/2023 22:08

Oh Kerr, I'm so so sorry. I too posted on the fake thread, so now I am doubly sorry, firstly for the loss of your beautiful wife, and secondly that someone would do that to you. Flowers I hope you find peace in time, in your memories of knowing and loving an incredible woman. Pamela showed such courage, and we were glad to know her, even if for such a brief time. Love too to Jacob and Pamela's mum. ❤️ I'll be keeping you in my thoughts, and raising a glass to Pamela this evening, may she be at peace.

legosunqueen · 03/08/2023 22:26

Dear Kerr & Jacob & family, i am so sorry to read your update, although I didn't know Pamela, I have followed her & your updates & she was clearly such a special lady. As others have said, her story struck a chord with many of us & she had a wonderful warmth & great writing style. Pamela was a fighter & her love for you & pride shine bright. Sincere condolences Flowers I have no words about the fake thread, truly despicable & I hope the instigator has been banned.

RuthTopp · 03/08/2023 22:27

Pamela had probably 100+ decent , compassionate people on here sending out love and healing vibes to her and her family , then a few disguising creatures ( not people ) to jump in on threads for their own warped benefit.
You shine bright out there Pamela .
Sorry for you loss to her family.

Whiteparasol · 03/08/2023 22:27

I am so very sorry for your loss.xx

Katypyee · 03/08/2023 22:32

Thank you for taking the time to update, Kerr. It is appreciated and very thoughtful considering everything you are going through.

I have been thinking about Pamela lots. I know we only got to know Pamela a fraction but what we learned about her and who she was, will stay with me for a very long time.

Rest in peace Pamela. Much love.

Crikeyalmighty · 03/08/2023 22:49

This beautiful intelligent and brave lady really touched my heart - and clearly so many others too. Life is often so bloody unfair - RIP Pamela xxx

Infracat · 03/08/2023 23:13

I am so sorry to hear that Pamela has passed away. Sending love and prayers to all her family and friends. 💕
