My son may be dying

Just that.

He has cancer, they have not been able to control it.

They have given him one last chemotherapy to see if it can turn a corner but his body may not be able to tolerate it and it may not work.

We have been told to prepare ourselves for him to deteriorate suddenly.

My husband can't be with us because my son also has Coronavirus so we are in isolation and he is with our other son.

You sound like exactly what your DS needs right now loving and strong and real. I can’t imagine to understand what you’re going through but I have a DS if a similar age and I am thinking of you all Flowers

MerryInthechelseahotel · 28/04/2020 01:05

Thinking of you and your lovely boy xx

Crunched · 28/04/2020 01:06

You said early on this thread that your DS was the best of you and remember you are enough.
There are no words I can say to ease your pain but, whatever may come, know that he knows you will be there, loving him fiercely. That is all you can do, and you will cope, and this will hurt, and it will never be ok to see your boy suffer like this but you will endure this time.
I fervently wish your DS well.

ineedaholidaynow · 28/04/2020 01:11

Sending you love and strength Flowers

EarringsandLipstick · 28/04/2020 02:23

I'm so sorry alone it must be agonising. Awful no matter what, and now even worse due to Covid restrictions when you are far away from DH and your other DS.

I've no words that help except know, that like many others here, I've been thinking of you and continuing to check your thread.

All you and DS can to is take it one tiny step at a time. I'm so sorry for what you are all going through. Saying a prayer 🌻🌻🌻

MoonlitCastle · 28/04/2020 03:24
