My son may be dying

Just that.

He has cancer, they have not been able to control it.

They have given him one last chemotherapy to see if it can turn a corner but his body may not be able to tolerate it and it may not work.

We have been told to prepare ourselves for him to deteriorate suddenly.

My husband can't be with us because my son also has Coronavirus so we are in isolation and he is with our other son.

I hope it is successful- I will be thinking of you all. You sound like an awesome family too.

aloneinthenight · 23/04/2020 11:56

Thank you everyone. Ideally they would have liked to have given him more time to get a little stronger but they have decided they need to move quickly.

I think it's going to be very much one day at a time.

MrsCalypsoGrant · 25/04/2020 21:52

Thinking of you OP & hoping the last few days have been ok 👍🏻

AmelieTaylor · 26/04/2020 15:32

🤗 how are you holding up?

You made the best choice, the only 'choice' really. Now we will all just send lots of strength for him to cope with the treatment.

💕

aloneinthenight · 26/04/2020 18:23

He's OK. It's still a delicate balance to keep him well.

He's had four days of chemotherapy in preparation for the new treatment on Wednesday. We just have to hope he remains stable in the meantime.

I can only imagine how hard the chemo must be. I hope his health will start to improve. 💕
