Two Haredi men were stabbed outside a synagogue in London’s Golders Green neighborhood on Wednesday in an apparent knife attack targeting Jewish members of the public. According to Shomrim, a Jewish neighborhood patrol group, a man was seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife and attempting to stab Jewish passersby.
Shomrim volunteers responded immediately and detained the suspect until police arrived. Officers deployed a Taser at the scene and arrested the man.
The two victims were treated by Hatzola, the Jewish emergency medical service. Their condition was not immediately clear.

"Knife Attack on Golders Green Road – Suspect Detained by Shomrim and Arrested

One male was seen running along Golders Green Road armed with a knife and attempting to stab Jewish members of the public.

Shomrim responded immediately and detained the suspect. Police attended and deployed a taser.

The male has now been arrested.

Two victims have been stabbed and are being treated by Hatzola.

The suspect is in custody. Further updates to follow."

Police say they're working with the security services and "one of the lines of inquiry is whether this attack was deliberately targeting the Jewish community in London" No words, really. Shame on them all.

So sorry for all of you experiencing this. It should not be happening.

They are saying they think the attack was from a pro-Islamic Regime terrorist group. It very may well be but a) this lets the government and police off the hook because they’ll use the Iran War as an excuse and b) it’s not hard to find people in the uk who are, um, keen to commit acts of violence against Jews. Which is due to the government and police being shit at combatting anti Jewish hate.

Just seen the uncensored videos of the police kicking the attacker and stamping on his head during the arrest. Makes me think the attacker will be let off because of that unfortunately.

LONDON — A little-known group believed to be linked to Iran claimed one of its “lone wolves” stabbed two Jewish men in a north London terror attack today, the SITE Intelligence Group reports.
“Zionists were targeted by our lone wolves in the Golders Green area of London,” Harakat Ashab al-Yamin al-Islamiya (HAYI), meaning The Islamic Movement of the People of the Right Hand, says in a claim posted online, according to SITE.
HAYI has claimed responsibility for a spate of attacks on Jewish-linked targets across Europe in the last two months, including several in the British capital prior to today’s stabbing, which police have declared a “terrorist incident.”

Yes, that's the same group. I don't think there's been any official response to their claims but that might be because they're still investigating?

The police have posted saying the officer acted as per his training (the terrorist wouldn't give up his knife, even after being tasered).

I don’t think the average person will ever be able to connect the countless hate marches and all of the terror group support to this result. I just feel so helpless and I’m very sad but I’m not surprised and it’s awful to have got to this stage.

Presumably he knows there's no way it won't lead to a bad PR moment. Plus, he's shown he doesn't care about Jewish lives plenty of times

But this is what i don't really get. His wife is Jewish, his children are being brought up as Jewish.

He must have some sort of moral compass about it, surely. DH says he's is just terrified of the muslim vote.

I agree he will put his power ahead of everything else. And potentially doesn’t feel that his wife and children are really at risk.
