IVF - July Transfers

Hello,

I started a previous thread for May transfers, but unfortunately, mine was unsuccessful. This was my first transfer, fully medicated (lupron suppression, estorgen priming, progesterone, antibiotics, blood thinners, aspirin, prograf, and prednol), and with a euploid embryo so completely gutted. Anyone else gearing up for a transfer in July? How are we feeling?

OTD is Wednesday 😬 I should have waited but was so adamant I wasn't that I just wanted to put myself out of my misery!

Thank you! I'm home now. They found one sac measuring 7mm which fits with being 5 weeks pregnant. No signs of an active bleed, and cervix appeared closed, so they can't say what's caused the bleeding for certain. They thought they could possibly see the yolk sac, but it was too hard to tell when that small apparently. I have to go back in two days for repeat bloods to check my blood count and hcg level. Then back again two days later do that again and a scan a week later. Pregnancy can be so worrying!!

Congratulations to those who have had a successful cycle, and hold tight the others 🩵✨ it’s a scary wait and process. I am 8dpt and 14 days post trigger (ovilette). Having stratchy mild cramping and spotting began last night then again this afternoon. Trying to hold tight and be positive. Really want to test! The tests look promising on here xx

@BluntBlueOP 9dpt here! Also holding out on testing but it's getting harder and harder 🙈 when are you planning on testing? Iv had mild cramping since transfer until day 7pt and now literally nothing. Don't know how to feel anymore would just love to know the result now!

oh lovely, and I know right I really want to test. But my test day is Wednesday 12th so not long now. When is yours? Oh my breast were really sore but not as much now. But they are still quite a lot bigger than they usually are. I’m having bad migraines the last 24 hours and had hot flushes all week. I feel you, I said to my partner it feels odd and I have no idea what to feel or when. Fingers crossed for us ✨

@Zeeha- I'm so sorry you had such a scary day! I had the same with my daughter. A big bleed that soaked everything. I was fairly sure it was over but cervix was closed and all was fine on the scan. Just showed an SCH. Believe they're more common in IVF! My doc was always very reassured by a closed cervix. Hope everything is okay and thinking of you.

10dpt here, was so tempted to test this morning. OTD is Thursday but getting harder to not test especially during work days when I work from home and there aren’t many distractions! 😬 think I might test tomorrow just for my own sanity and to prepare myself for a negative!

Congratulations to all those with successful cycles and thinking of those who are waiting for their positives test or next cycles to try again. This is such a crazy hard process!!! 💕

But we had transfers the same day and I feel the exact same was so eager to test this am but I'm so afraid of a chemical pregnancy it's making me wait 🙈 woke up with such sore boobs this morning for the first time this cycle but appparantly good Ole cyclogest is to blame for that 🙈

It’s impossible not to symptom spot right?! And yep the cyclogest gives you all those symptoms too which just seems cruel! I’ve had sore boobs for the last week or so but they’re not as sore today and now have some cramps which feel very similar to before my period normally starts. Wishing you all the best for when you test 🤞🏻😊

Oh yes good old cycogest. I don’t like these pre period symptoms. Bring on Wednesday but I am tempted to test still. I may test tomorrow too. I’m working from home this week and my brain is going crazy! We all got this ✨✨

I caved this evening and took a test, I just had so many symptoms today I needed to know what was happening 🙈

Had no early detection tests but 10dp5dt today with evening urine, just hopeful the lines darken over the next few days OTD is 13th August.

Feeling hopeful everything will go well going forward 🤞✨ thanks to everyone for the support on this group over the last few weeks 🙏 best of luck to those still in the wait 🙏✨

So... My saga continues...
I went to the clinic for a scan to rule out ectopic, with a doctor that's not mine, which is fine.
Dr was all "zero chance this evolves, considering your numbers, lets have a look, but we won't be able to see anything with these values"

We end up seeing nothing in the tubes (YAY) and a black "ball" in the uterus. She said maybe, possibly that was the beginning of a sac, but it was maybe already detaching, and there was some liquid, possibly blood already, and to expect my period in a few days.
Also, she thought there was no point doing another beta today, as it wouldn't tell me anything, and to wait until the end of the week, for a clearee picture.

I insisted I wanted one today, she was fine with it, in a "suit yourself" kinda way, and I left feeling reassured it was non ectopic, a chemical, and that in a few days I'd have my period.

Went next door for the beta, then straight into the car for the 3h drive to ny holiday!

Went to the pool, had a couple of beers, and then got ny beta results...

And, I shit you not, it was nearly 1000mU!!! Up from 227 on Friday, a 335% increase and a doubling time of 34h!

Texted my doctor, who was surprised, but still dismissive. I ended up reminding her that it was only the 2nd beta that was an outlier. The others were "ok".

She hasn't replied since
I'm repeating it on Wednesday, obviously. But feeling very unsupported by the clinic.

Congratulations @TheBreezyKoala!! and @ASGIRC that sounds so tough especially with clinic not being very supportive. Hope you have some good news at the next test!

I tested this morning and unfortunately was negative, which truly sucks. I’ll test again on Thursday but fairly certain it’s not our time this round. Going to give ourselves time and we’ll pick ourselves up to go again.

I also caved yesterday and took 3 tests then another 2 this morning and they have all been positive. Only as I was getting sudden nausea and again this morning. My OTD is tomorrow (12th). I’m hoping it is still good news going forward 🙏✨

I am 17 days post trigger and 10D5DT.

Thanks! I don't want to be too optimistic, as this could all crumble soon (but then again, earlyy pregnancy is the same for everyone, just one big ball of doubt! And to think that if my first beta has been just a few numbers higher, they wouldn't have asked me to test again, and I'd just be waiting for the scan!!!!)
But it would be great if this turned out to be a viable pregnancy, obviously! We shall see!

I've switched to NA beer for the time being, just in case! 😂😂
