Hello ladies, anyone doing an FET or IVF next month? I am on a 3 month down regulation protocol and just did my last lupron depot injection yay! I start embryo transfer prep on the 1st of November, it will be nice to chat with anyone on a similar timeline for support and banter to get us through 😊 Xx

Hi all! Im having FET next thursday. We only have one frozen embryo so feeling the stress. Whats everyone doing to get ready?

Wishingandwaiting2453 · 02/11/2025 18:01

@Emerald1986 Good luck!

I’m generally just ‘trying’ to be more relaxed. Ha! I have started yoga too. I’m taking probiotics from Zita West and inofolic alpha sachets as well. No idea if it’s going to make any difference at all. I was recommended these by my consultant but they’re only supplements. Just waiting for day 1 so I can start on the oestrogen tablets.

Hope your transfer goes smoothly.

Cornish13 · 03/11/2025 06:51

@Mrsbutterfly24 did you manage to have your transfer on the 1st? I’m on transfer 2 and also had mine on the 1st 🤞🏻

Hello @Cornish13 , cycle day 1 for me is the 1st of November, planned transfer is on 18th November. I am currently on progynova, letrozole, aspirin with levothyroxine to bring down my thyroid levels which are a little high. I have a scan on the 6th to check my lining is developing and a follicle is growing post three months of lupron down reg. Starting to feel real now! Another transfer cycle in progress. Wishing the best of luck to everyone, please keep the updates and hopefully bfps rolling in! 💕✨️

Hi all, rejoining here! Had my baseline scan last week, everything looks good, now waiting for Nov period - then a 10 day scan to check lining and off we go if that's all good!

The dr said they'd be expecting a lining of about 7mm on day 10 but I've seen people say they sometimes have too thick lining - didn't realise this could be a problem - I've been worrying about it being too thin?

For the ladies taking aspirin - what is this supposed to help with and what strength are you taking?

waitingforourmiracle · 03/11/2025 14:19

@PlanBFertility ah sorry to hear you've been delayed - have they given you another date?

@zirafica mine has always been too thin so we added more oestrogen. I'm taking 75mg aspirin, to be honest I'm not 100% sure but I thought it helped with blood flow (could be wrong...) good luck!

@Cornish13 how are you feeling post transfer?

I'm in for bloods first thing tomorrow then transfer Wednesday! I'm trying to live as normal as possible to be honest, I've got my friends hen party this week which will be a good distraction but I'll also be cautious of not pushing my body too much with late nights and doing too much! Team sober for me 😜

Cornish13 · 03/11/2025 14:31

@Mrsbutterfly24 sorry, was clearly too early for me this morning and misread your post 😂 my last transfer was a fresh following a long protocol and it unfortunately failed. I also started spotting before my OTD. So this time I’m on aspirin, x3 Cyclogest a day and also Lubion injection once a day. This was also a natural FET which I’ve actually much preferred, I’ve felt slightly more in control and less delusional 😂

Cornish13 · 03/11/2025 14:35

@waitingforourmiracle I’m actually feeling ok! This transfer was a natural FET so I’m feeling a lot more me. My last transfer I was a mess and it was awful, I didn’t actually want the transfer but I had to as I have an access fertility package so had to have a fresh. I knew the minute fine transfer happened it had failed. This time I’m feeling more hopeful and less stressed.

Oooo is that progesterone bloods? I paid to have mine the day before my transfer this time as they don’t usually do progesterone bloods for a FET but I wanted to be 100% sure it was all ok. I’m actually quite enjoying being real sober 😂 I had someone’s leaving drinks last weekend and I was able to just say I’m going now, got in my car and went to Costa drive through for a hot chocolate 😂

zirafica · 03/11/2025 14:55

Thanks @waitingforourmiracle - I work in pharma and aspirin is a blood thinner, so won't really help with blood flow but more with lowering blood viscosity - it's useful if you're susceptible to clots but you get the same effect from increasing water intake. I am not sure there are any indications it would help with blood flow, but then I have a friend in the states whose doctor told her to shove Viagra up her hoo-ha to help with a thin lining so I suppose there's weirder things out there. Spoiler: the Viagra didn't work :D

@Cornish13 haha, no worries at all 😄. Hoping this time it all goes according to plan for you🙏. Did you use oestrogen and a trigger shot for this ovulatory cycle, or you are fully natural? I am using a trigger on day 11 and another booster shot on transfer day so my early testing plans have been foiled before they even begin as I will need to wait out the hcg from ovitrelle before a reliable test which is probably good for my sanity 🙃 😅.

Mrsbutterfly24 · 03/11/2025 15:12

@zirafica , I am also on 75mg aspirin. Not fully sure why but think it maybe helpful with blood flow in the uterus so told ill be on till at least the first trimester 🙂.

@Cornish13 ah glad your feeling better this time round! Yes progesterone bloods tomorrow. When is your test date? Will you hold off or are you an early tester? (I am haha usually 6dpt) that is defo a bonus to no drinking, also the no hangover! We're doing 24 hours in Dublin so I know the other girls will go wild, I'll be sensible and take myself off to bed when I'm ready 😋

@zirafica Ah I was kind of guessing so that makes sense! Oh gosh never heard that one!

@Mrsbutterfly24 sorry if I've missed, is this your first transfer?

Marisadea · 03/11/2025 15:34

Hello ladies! Sorry I have been very quiet. I am on 4DP5DT today. I am taking this cycle in a very different way than last time. More relaxed and with a different mindset. I guess whatever results this cycle will bring, is fine! We still have 4 embryos left!
i tested yesterday and there was a super faint line. Last time I had a chemical pregnancy, therefore I don’t want to celebrate yet!
i hope everything is going well for you

tryinghopefully · 03/11/2025 19:15

I’ve been reading along but struggling to reply. Lining thickness scan last Tuesday shows lining of 11.2mm. After previous issues getting lining thick enough I couldn’t believe it! Stopped buserelin Saturday. Started progesterone yesterday. Lubion is sore! Blood test Thursday and transfer planned for Friday. Stressful and busy week trying to swap things round and get things in place for Friday. Can’t believe we’re nearly there now.

@Marisadea
A more relaxed approach sounds great! Well done. 4 embryos is a great position. My fingers crossed that that faint line develops and sticks!

@Mrsbutterfly24
I was on aspirin previously. I think it’s to counteract clotting risk with high levels of estrogen.

@zirafica
people really will try anything when struggling to get lining thick enough 🤣

@Cornish13
Sounds like this cycle has suited you better. Drive through hot chocolate sounds like the way to go!

@waitingforourmiracle
You’re a couple of days ahead of me and I also need bloods to check progesterone the day before transfer.

Cornish13 · 03/11/2025 19:22

@Mrsbutterfly24 I’m doing purely natural. So emailed on CD1 and then they got me in for a scan on CD10. I was told to test for ovulation twice a day from CD8 and then call as soon as I get my solid smiley face. I then got booked in for the transfer 5 days later. 2 days after my surge I started progesterone and will continue that until my OTD (outcome dependent). I tested from 5DPO last time and it was horrific 😂 but I knew in my gut that it hadn’t worked. So this time I’m going to try and not test until my OTD 😬 easier said than done! Saying that though on my fresh I done a trigger and on 5DPO I got a negative so it was out of my system by then. If that helps you at all 😂

Cornish13 · 03/11/2025 19:27

@waitingforourmiracle progesterone is so odd because on my fresh mine was something like 342 the day before transfer and this time it was 112 the day before transfer. Whilst I was having my transfer to make light conversation the nurse was telling me how progesterone is always much higher before a fresh as you still have follicles from the egg collection and they release extra progesterone. Because I was worrying why my levels were so different. My OTD is the 12th November, makes me feel ill thinking about it 😂 um I don’t know what to do yet! Last time I tested from 5DPO and got a negative and stayed negative however I knew straight away it hadn’t worked. I’m going to try and hold off this time to stay in my little bubble haha.

I’d be taking myself off to try and find food places 😂😂

Mrsbutterfly24 · 03/11/2025 19:27

@waitingforourmiracle , this is my 4th transfer. 1 bfn, followed by 2 x early miscarriages. On a nuclear immune protocol, had down reg and also doing a modified natural transfer this time so hopefully my body is happier and this is the one for us 🤞.

Cornish13 · 03/11/2025 19:29

@tryinghopefully I’m basically running off of hot chocolate at this point 😂 I’ve been seeing an acupuncturist this transfer and she’s been advising to drink warm drinks only so I’ve been living off of hot chocolate and hot ribena haha.

Oooo yes Lubion is SO painful! I’ve had it for the first time this transfer and damn. I think I’m maybe on my 5th night of it and I dread it every time 😂

Cornish13 · 03/11/2025 19:33

@Emerald1986 for this transfer I had started acupuncture and I’ve found it’s helped me relax loads. So I’d maybe looked into going and having a massage somewhere! I’m thinking of doing it next week or maybe this Friday if I can find somewhere. I also went and had my brows done and a pedicure. I was feeling pretty crappy and wanted to cheer myself up. Last time I also thought too much about every single detail and even looked up what the babies due date would be if it worked, I haven’t done any of that this time. X

Hopeandfaith1990 · 03/11/2025 20:27

Hi all, joining the thread as I’m having my second FET (1st one failed in the summer) on Saturday 🤞🏻🙏🏻 I did a medicated one in the summer and now am doing a modified natural one, using Cyclogest, Fragmin and an immune protocol as I’ve had recurrent miscarriage in the past.

what does everyone do re work after transfer? I’m a teacher so it’s really hard to take time off in term-time but I’ve told work I’m going to get signed off for one week this time… feeling really anxious about it!

Mrsbutterfly24 · 03/11/2025 20:49

@Cornish13 The temptation to test and know asap is sooo strong. I think because I am having the day 11 trigger and hcg booster on transfer day 18th, maybe the earliest for a reliable test would be 8 to 10 days past transfer? We shall see, I dont want to give myself false hope but my will power with early testing is shockingly low 😅.

@Mrsbutterfly24 I've seen some people test from 1DPO and test out the trigger 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 if that appeals to you at all haha. Last time I bought pregnancy tests but this time I refuse!

Lyndsey8880 · 03/11/2025 20:55

Hi all,
Jumping on this thread ☺️
Had my FET transfer today of my only day 3 embryo!
Hoping the tww goes quickly and without much obsessing (yeah right!)
Good luck to you all in your cycles! Xxx

This is what I did on my last cycle 🤭

Wishingandwaiting2453 · 04/11/2025 06:44

Good luck everyone doing their transfer this week. I’ve finally started cycle day 1. Here we go again!

Hoping to transfer around the third week of November. Lining dependent.

I wander what everyone else in the outside world talks about? Haha probably not their lining!
