Hello ladies, anyone doing an FET or IVF next month? I am on a 3 month down regulation protocol and just did my last lupron depot injection yay! I start embryo transfer prep on the 1st of November, it will be nice to chat with anyone on a similar timeline for support and banter to get us through 😊 Xx

Urgh. FET been cancelled. Have to induce a bleed and then go again with a non medicated cycle to see if lining get better. Good luck everyone ❤️

Cornish13 · 04/11/2025 09:19

@Wishingandwaiting2453 good luck! I have no idea if it’s helped or not but I’ve been pretty consistent with eating x3 Brazil nuts a day from CD1. In my head it helped anyway 😂

I bet they don’t talk about what orifice they’re putting pessaries either 😂

waitingforourmiracle · 04/11/2025 11:51

@Marisadea we'll all be praying for you! I'm also trying a more relaxed approach this time!

@tryinghopefully ah that is a great measurement!

@Cornish13 it sounds like a long time but a week tomorrow sounds closer 😋aw rooting for you!!

@Mrsbutterfly24 I'm sorry to hear about the previous transfers, it sounds like a good plan. Fingers crossed this is the one

@Hopeandfaith1990 I just take the afternoon off for transfer then work like normal but I'm office based so I don't do much moving around!

@Lyndsey8880 best of luck!

@PlanBFertility I'm really sorry to hear that, it's so disappointing have a cancelled cycle when you feel so close to transfer, look after yourself 💛

@Wishingandwaiting2453 that made me laugh, what do you mean, do people not talk about lining thickness in every conversation? 😜

I had my bloods this morning, got to the clinic SUPER early because I got a notification last night to say there was road works so I was stressing and completely forgot to my pessary, I left the house at 6.15am and I'm usually due to take it at 7am so I just completely forgot so had to go home before work and didn't end up inserting it until 9am, hoping it won't make a difference to the bloods!! Starting to feel a bit nervous now for transfer tomorrow!

Marisadea · 04/11/2025 12:43

Good luck @waitingforourmiracle!! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Cornish13 · 04/11/2025 15:56

@waitingforourmiracle i didn’t even realise it’s a week away 😂 trying not to pay attention to the days 😂

I hope your bloods have come back ok and your transfer goes well 🤞🏻

waitingforourmiracle · 04/11/2025 16:31

Thank you both
Sorry @Cornish13 did the way I said it make it sound longer, I thought it sounded better 😂
I've just rang the clinic to confirm my time as I hadn't heard anything and they've said 1ish but didn't mention bloods so presuming all was okay!

Cornish13 · 04/11/2025 16:34

@waitingforourmiracle no it made it seem shorter 😂 for my last transfer I couldn’t bear the thought of being at home and booked a last minute trip to Cornwall but this time I’m actually quite enjoying being at home and in my usual routine.

My transfer was at 1:20pm but I was 40 minutes late as I got stuck on the M5 😂

IndigoBluey · 04/11/2025 16:38

@Cornish13hopefully all went well for you!

I have a general question (not got to egg collection yet) is the transfer also done under sedation?

hoping to start cycle 2 this month, but annoying having to pay for the required bloods again so soon after!

Cornish13 · 04/11/2025 16:43

@IndigoBluey my transfers haven’t been done under sedation and I don’t know of anyone else who has either. I’m pretty sure it can be done for medical reasons. You honestly don’t feel anything! It’s kind of like having a smear at the drs. I’ve seen some women have pain but I think it comes down to your uterus being in line etc. as some women have tilted uteruses. However I’ve personally not had any pain at all.

What bloods are you having to pay for?

MyAgileZebra · 04/11/2025 16:54

@PlanBFertility sorry to hear that, looks like I'm going the same way.

Had my 12 day scan today and my lining is averaging at 5.3mm. They have put me on an extra patch and want to rescan me on Friday but I can't see it getting thick enough.

Does anyone know how long they can keep giving you estrogen for before that cancel the transfer?

This is lower than my last transfer despite having an extra patch and spending a small fortune on beetroot juice, pomegranate juice, nuts, berries and supplements and following a Mediterranean based diet. My clinic have said they will transfer with anything over 6mm my last was 6.7 but I have said I don't want to transfer with less than 7mm this time.my fresh transfer got to over 8 so I know it can get there.

Sorry for the long rant, it's just so frustrating 😤.

Wishingandwaiting2453 · 04/11/2025 17:01

@IndigoBluey All of my transfers have been done under sedation which is unusual I know. I’ve got scarring on my cervix and I literally hit the roof when they tried a trial run last year so I just get knocked out.

That nice moment has also been robbed of me when you get to see it on the screen!

Hopeandfaith1990 · 04/11/2025 18:02

Thank you @waitingforourmiracle my work can just be so stressful and physically demanding, I think I am going to take a few days to hopefully pass the implantation window .. Super good luck for tomorrow ❤

@MyAgileZebra that is so frustrating, I'm sorry. I've not got any advice but just wanted to send you luck for it thickening over the next few days!

MyAgileZebra · 04/11/2025 19:18

Thank you @Hopeandfaith1990 . Best of luck to you to for your transfer.

Rayofsunshine22 · 04/11/2025 20:15

Hi all, seen some familiar names on here from my failed summer cycle 1. Onto cycle 2 now due to start stims this weekend. I'm self funded on an Access Fertility package (3 rounds) no frosties from 1st round so another fresh cycle for me. Good luck to everyone on this crazy journey 🙌🏻

Mrsbutterfly24 · 05/11/2025 09:08

@waitingforourmiracle , wishing you the best of luck with your transfer 💫.

@Cornish13 , crossing fingers for some good news from you in the next few days.💕

Tomorrow is my day 6 scan to check follicle growth and lining thickness so hopefully it all goes well 🙏.

@Mrsbutterfly24 I’m now 4 days past my natural frozen transfer and I stupidly done a test, I knew I shouldn’t have. It’s negative. I know it’s too early but I’ve seen others get positives from 3 days and now I’m totally deflated. I’m on more progesterone for this transfer and that’s also kicking my ass! The sweats, nausea, headaches, tiredness and so on. I’ve been pregnant before and it reminds me of my first trimester so I’m feeling all the feels today.

Good luck for tomorrow 🤞🏻

@Cornish13 , sending hugs. Step away from the tests for now and give yourself some love. Try to distract yourself with activities you enjoy over the next few days, maybe go see a long film at the cinema or something so you can't down any rabbit holes at home. Give it a few days and retest, there is still plenty of time for you to get a positive result. You are stronger than you know to even take on this process, you will be just fine! ❤️

@Cornish13I also tested too early this morning! Negative of course. My transfer was on 30th Oct so 5 days past- why do we do it to ourselves?!?!

Cornish13 · 05/11/2025 09:56

@Mrsbutterfly24 ive actually binned them! I have no will power whatsoever and I know I’ll just keep testing 😂 I’m working from home the next 2 days so I intend to stay in my pjs the whole time and eat whatever I like haha. I won’t buy a test now until OTD xx

Cornish13 · 05/11/2025 09:57

@2ndtimethecharm mine was on the 1st November. I promised myself I wouldn’t test early this transfer and I’ll only test on OTD 🙄 what a load of shit that was hahahaha but binned the tests now so I can’t do it to myself

waitingforourmiracle · 05/11/2025 10:39

@MyAgileZebra it's so frustrating isn't it 😞I think I was on my meds for about 2 weeks then they cancelled, this time I'm on 3 patches and 3 tablets a day and it's helped

@IndigoBluey I've always been awake for transfers and I've felt no pain!

@Mrsbutterfly24 good luck with your scan tomorrow

@Cornish13 @2ndtimethecharm hopefully just too early for you both!

The clinic have just called to say the embryo has thawed perfectly so that's one stress down for today. Me and my partner decided to call this embryo lucky (3rd time lucky) haha so hoping it lives up to it's name!! ❤

MyAgileZebra · 05/11/2025 11:22

@waitingforourmiracle Thanks. Hope all goes smoothly today 🍀 x

@Cornish13 I clearly don’t have your instincts for self-preservation as I went out and bought a more sensitive test 🫣

Cornish13 · 05/11/2025 16:32

@2ndtimethecharm 😂😂😂 I used an easy@home test, I think they’re pretty sensitive as they’re a pink dye

Wishingandwaiting2453 · 05/11/2025 18:34

@Mrsbutterfly24 Oh I know it’s so hard to stop testing once you start!!
