IVF babies due 2026?

Hi - I couldn’t find a thread but just wondered if anyone else was expecting in 2026 post ivf? I’m due end of Feb so just wanting any similar ladies to chat with!

good luck for your scan @lemons44. if it helps my clinic has me on exactly the same taper off progesterone procedure and my clinic says actually we don't really need any past 9 weeks but they are just being cautious keeping us on it longer so I doubt it is the progesterone. It might just be your womb expanding due to your growing baby.

The scan went ok so I’m just going to keep an eye on the cramps. I think I’m extra paranoid about the cramps as i have thin lining issues and transferred on a lining of 6.5mm (the thickest my body will make) but the sonographer said today that lining does not matter much at this stage anyway.

I feel a little embarrassed to be honest that I’ve now had 5 scans in total and am 11+2. But trying to be kind to myself and just think that it’s been such a long journey it’s ok that I’m needing the extra reassurance.

wow @VioIetMoon that is really amazing! Maybe there was a smaller, less mature follicle they missed that then kept growing post egg collection

@lemons44 so glad everything is ok. It’s 💯 to feel worried. We’ve all gone through a lot to get here and ivf pregnancies = more anxiety. I also think it’s better for baby for you to get checked rather than stress for 2 weeks x

@lemons44 glad to hear it! Absolutely nothing wrong with having more scans. The scans the nhs gives is just based on cost not what is right for each person - I’m sure everyone would prefer to have more if they could. Be kind to yourself!

@lemons44 it was all good thanks!! I still am in disbelief each time 😂 although my yolk sac is like 98 percentile and my gestational sac is 15 percentile which obviously has be a bit worried. I wanna be bang average on everything!

That’s good news @SamVan 💗 I was never told specific percentiles just the mm of the baby. I wouldn’t worry too much as I know at this stage the measurements are so small that they can differ even by who scans you.

We got our NIPT results back today and they show low risk. We haven’t looked at the gender yet. It’s weird to know the gender is sat in my inbox lol. But want to be with DH when we look.

It’s good to hear all the good news re scans. Had my first local midwife appointment today and got to listen to the baby’s heartbeat 💗 hope everyone has a lovely weekend

@worldwidetravel2017 I have read before that IVF favours boys. It’s very interesting, I may do some googling later to understand if there is an actual scientific reason for it.

I've also heard boys are more common in IVF pregnancies, we also found out this week that we are having a boy following IVF. We had a 16 week early anomaly scan which thankfully was all fine, amd that's when we found out it was a boy as well

Sorry ladies havent replied in a while!

I am 12 weeks now and waiting for my nhs scan next week. So nervous about it! My sickness seems to have improved which is good!
