May 2025 FET

I thought I would start a thread for those scheduled for a FET in May.

Had egg collection in Feb, feels like forever ago now.

I have just started a medicated FET cycle. Started taking norethisterone today. Provisional transfer scheduled for May 27th.

Anyone else on a similar timeline?

My clinic were meant to call me first thing with my beta results and still haven’t heard anything and I’m just all over the place right now

oh, that's so annoying and on such an important day too! are you able to call them?

confused2025 · 12/06/2025 16:05

@PixieJxoxo I just got them. Talk about stress x

Crossing my fingers you got good news!

How's everyone else getting on? Is anyone having an FET soon?

mumtrovert · 16/06/2025 12:38

Hope everyone’s all good.

@PixieJxoxo I have my 2nd FET next Thursday. 🤞🏼 this time. How are you doing?

Sending you all the good vibes!

I'm good thank you! I had my almost 8 week scan the week before last and have been officially discharged from the clinic (though annoyingly I think because I've been discharged they're not able to refill some meds that I need to keep taking so having to do lots of emails and calls!!). I have my booking in appointment on Sunday, so will discuss with the midwife if I don't have anything back from the clinic by then.

How are you feeling? Do you have any scans between now and next Thursday?

confused2025 · 16/06/2025 12:52

Thanks @PixieJxoxothey got me at about 4pm and let me know the good news and told me they were very happy with my hcg level. I have my scan on the 30th. I was away over the weekend and literally feel like I’ve been run over by a bus. How are you feeling?

mumtrovert · 16/06/2025 12:55

Aw that’s brilliant news. Glad everything is going well. Have you had many symptoms? @PixieJxoxo
Yes I have my lining scan this Friday. I’m doing beetroot & pomegranate juice this time around and Brazil nuts after the transfer. 🤞🏼

Oh, I'm so so pleased for you, congratulations! hopefully the next few weeks go super quick for you!

Pretty similar to you i think, just mega exhausted. The nausea comes in waves and hits more at nighttime. I already feel quite uncomfortable in my current clothes, so might have to look into sizing up (which seems insane at 9 weeks, but hard to know what's all the medication bloat vs pregnancy bloat!) oh, also - definitely have food aversions!

Apart from the tiredness, how are you feeling?

confused2025 · 16/06/2025 14:41

@mumtrovertsending 🍀 for Friday. @PixieJxoxo I’m just very tired and need to go to the loo a lot and sore breasts. I also start crying at most things online so I think a lot of it is hormonal. I’m a little scared for my scan on the 30th but hoping this little miracle is my 40th birthday present as my birthday is on Friday. I don’t envy you with the food aversions. I’m not there yet.

Thank you! I definitely don't think there have been a lot and have freaked out a few times when i felt like i was 'losing' some of the symptoms i did have (when sore boobs lessened, i was so close to booking a private scan just to check the heartbeat but managed to talk myself off that ledge). But right now, it's waves of nausea, some food aversions, heightened sense of smell and exhaustion and these are the ones i think aren't down to all the meds (i've had sore boobs as soon as i started progesterone prior to transfer).

That sounds like you're super on it with everything! Have your clinic said to stop certain foods or anything? I was super surprised when mine gave me an infosheet that said to cut out caffeine entirely in the 2ww!

mumtrovert · 16/06/2025 16:06

Aw I bet, it’s so nerve wracking isn’t it. @PixieJxoxo
No they haven’t said anything to me but I’ve been on decaf since the beginning of May. Trying to do everything that’s in my control at least.

Raegs · 26/06/2025 16:39

Had my early scan pulled forward to today as had some bleeding last week. Some red blood and passing small clots and on and off dry blood when wiping.

All ok - they couldn't figure out why I was bleeding but said it happens sometimes. Got to see babies heartbeat. Am 7 weeks today.

Hope others are getting on ok!

@Raegs sorry to hear about the bleeding, but great that you got to see baby and all was well! how have you been since the scan? any more bleeding at all or has it completely stopped?

I'm finding this heat hard to cope with - i definitely feel like my basal temp has increased a fair amount since the positive and add this heatwave and i feel like i'm melting if i so much as move an inch! I had a private reassurance scan last week (started spiralling and got into my head that something had gone terribly wrong - i will be so pleased when the anxiety lessens!) and baby was all fine, measuring bang on from the transfer date at 10+5 on that day. I had my midwife booking in a week ago too, my blood pressure was high (clearly i'm just a stressy/anxious person!) so i've been referred out for that. My random glucose blood test was also high, so i've been booked in for a glucose tolerance test too (though not concerned, because i think it was high because i'd drunk a lucozade about half an hour before the appointment, silly of me really but i had no idea they'd be testing glucose!)

Do you have your booking in appointment soon?

@mumtrovert How did your transfer go lovely? Hope you're not going too crazy in the tww!

mumtrovert · 30/06/2025 12:32

Glad to hear you’re both doing well. Except for the heat and all the anxiety of course!!

Thsnks for asking @PixieJxoxo my transfer went well. It’s a 4BC embryo so not as good quality and could definitely tell the difference in the photo. But it’s still got a chance so I’m staying positive. Had bouts of diahorrea & nausea the past two days but it’s way too early to be anything, I’m only 4dpt, so I’m putting it down to nerves/back to back hormones. Testing on Saturday so still a way to go.

Raegs · 02/07/2025 13:12

@PixieJxoxo ahh the heat - to be honest I hadn't been too bad until the last few days but definitely grateful it's cooled down today. Hope you are finding it more bearable now.

I am still spotting on and off. Have contacted midwife for appointment so just waiting to hear back with a date now.

@mumtrovert fingers crossed for you and hope you are feeling better!
