I thought I would start a thread for those scheduled for a FET in May.

Had egg collection in Feb, feels like forever ago now.

I have just started a medicated FET cycle. Started taking norethisterone today. Provisional transfer scheduled for May 27th.

Anyone else on a similar timeline?

Wow congratulations to all the BFPs this weekend!!

@Anniekent1 that looks like a good positive to me on both days! I’m no expert on line progression but as others have said, different test brands show things differently and it’s only 24 hours apart at a really early stage. But it’s completely understandable to be worried after the journey you’ve been on, and you wouldn’t be wasting anyone’s time to get some reassurance. Sounds like a good idea to arrange a beta test.
I’m sure it’s much easier said than done but I hope you can go easy on yourself today 💕

Impatientlywaiting321 · 18/05/2025 09:42

@Anniekent1 congratulations! Please try not to worry my lines today and yesterday look exactly like yours. The clear blue also said 1-2 weeks today. I read up on their website too, 1-2 weeks is from conception so that’s exactly where it should be.

Anniekent1 · 18/05/2025 10:00

@Blueskycat@Impatientlywaiting321
you ladies are making even more emotional with your kind words this morning. God this progesterone hitting me hard today

I called the EPU and they don’t do blood tests unless referred by the GP so looks like I’ll have to wait.

@Impatientlywaiting321its reassuring that yours are similar and you are not worried. Bloody test anxiety is way worse than the TWW for me. Just seem to close but so far. Can’t stop looking at them and worrying. Doesn’t help my partner has to go away today so will be on my own all day stewing.

thank you again to everyone this morning who has tried to reassure me. Your the only ones who u under stand and I just wish we could all just enjoy these moments without it being wrecked by anxiety it will be ripped away at any moment

need a glass of wine 😅😅

mumtrovert · 18/05/2025 13:20

Congratulations @Toryory21. And @Anniekent1! Hope this next wait isn’t too agonising for you. Annie, I think your tests look absolutely fine!! Try and enjoy this moment for now, you are pregnant ♥️

@EmmaLouise6790. So sorry I’m not sure really with the cramps. I know I had period like cramps nearer the time of my period when I was pregnant but only mild. Perhaps implantation? I had lots of pulling sensations in those first few days after transfer.

I’m bricking it, I can’t believe this is transfer week now!! I want it to go right so badly. Does anyone here have a toddler? Are you still picking them up & carrying them etc? He’s also SO boisterous and regularly lands on my stomach or kicks it. I’m going to have to be so careful!

FrostedFlake · 18/05/2025 13:24

@Anniekent1 as someone who’s had a number of chemical pregnancies and miscarriages, those look like good lines! It’s harder to see progression if you take it the following day as you need about 48hrs for the HCG to double!

this is my chemical at 11DPT as you can see your lines are way darker ❤️ I really hope they get even darker over the next few days x

@mumtrovert congrats on reaching transfer week!! What day is your transfer? How are you feeling about it?

We have a 15 month old and he is very active and only wants me to carry him all the time. I tried hard not picking him up as much after transfer but completely failed. I think ultimately people get pregnant naturally and do all
sorts of things without realising they are pregnant and go on to have healthy pregnancies so I’d say it should be okay. I mean it hasn’t worked out for us this time around but I don’t think it’s because of that.
Best of luck with your transfer this week ❤️

mumtrovert · 18/05/2025 13:44

Thanks @FrostedFlake. It’s on Weds! So close now. I’m excited to finally be starting the process again, but obviously very nervous that it’s not going to work.. my OH is very much a positive person and is going into it thinking it’s definitely going to work again, so that’s hard because I want to try and manage my expectations!
This is what I thought regarding picking up etc. Everyone getting pregnant without treatment will be doing all sorts before & during.. so I’m sure it’s fine. Unfortunately we have so much riding on it don’t we, that we torture ourselves with these little details! I’ll try and keep it to a minimum but I know that will be pretty impossible due to the constant ‘MUMMY UP’ all day 😂

Anniekent1 · 18/05/2025 15:29

Thank you @mumtrovert for some reason stranger reassurance works better than partner reassurance. exciting for your transfer this week though - enjoy the day as actually it’s so nice to be able to see the embryo going into you. It’s such a big moment !

@FrostedFlakeny heart breaks that you have been through this multiple times. I don’t get why it’s such a cruel journey for so many and appreciate your words. I will def test again tomorrow (and then stick to every other day I think) and have paid for. HCG test. Need to remember it is what it is now and nothing will change it either way. Just almost want to know so I can move on and grieve.

Hello,

Hope you don’t mind me joining this thread I’ve just come across. I’m just desperately looking for some advice! I had a 5 day FET on the 8th May and have tested positive since 6dp. The line doesn’t seem to be getting darker and when I compare it to my previous pregnancy it is so much lighter for this stage! I know every pregnancy is different but I’m driving myself crazy. I’ve read so much about chemical pregnancies and all the stories seem to match my line progression. I guess I’m looking for a tiny of reassurance or success stories.

The clear blue looks lighter 48 hours later but the frer looks darker 24 hours later.

Hey @Sofree90 I am definitely not the person to reassure on line progression as I am a serial spiraller but looking at those FRER I can see a clear and good progression!!. I’ve always heard mixed things on the clear blue tests but I’m learning that tests can make you go crazy so is there any way you can get a beta blood test to find out for sure?

Sofree90 · 18/05/2025 19:23

Thank you for replying @Anniekent1 . My clinic don’t offer blood tests but I’m due to test Tues so will call them with the results then and ask if I can pay for one. If I’d have just don’t the frer I wouldn’t be worried as now it’s dried it looks even darker but the barely there line on the clear blue has sent my anxiety through the roof. I wish I’d just stuck to the one test! So hard to put the tests down haha. Does your clinic offer you a blood test?

Anniekent1 · 18/05/2025 19:36

No im having to pay privately to get it done (just googled it online and did it at a near clinic) Although when I called the EPU they said they would do one if you can get a GP referral so that might be an option for you as well?

silly isn’t it. If we were ‘normal’ we prob wouldn’t even keep testing and just accept the one result and be done with it. Try and focus on what you do know and your pregnant for now and nothing you do will change things now. I say all this after being on and off tears all day so I totally get it 🤣

camelinastorm · 17/05/2025 13:44

Congratulations @FrostedFlake @Impatientlywaiting321 @PixieJxoxo what days past transfer were you all

I waited the full 14 days post transfer before testing

Just had a call from my clinic and scan is booked in for the 6th of June - which seems an age away!

Well done on all the BFPs over the last few days - so pleased for you all!

camelinastorm · 19/05/2025 14:14

@PixieJxoxo aww wow that's great news, it's now waiting for scans thats the next stress isn't it ,🤣

PixieJxoxo · 19/05/2025 14:17

@camelinastorm thank you and truly! the waiting never stops!

When is your OTD and when do you have to let your clinic know?

camelinastorm · 19/05/2025 14:20

@PixieJxoxo so my official test day is Wednesday so 12 days past I know most clinics are 14 days past, I've messaged my clinic and they are happy with the test I've done also will do another on Wednesday and hopefully it's a stronger line, unfortunately my clinic is overseas I don't get a scan with them, well I can but it's a long flight 🤣

Blueskycat · 21/05/2025 07:21

Hope all goes well with your transfer today @mumtrovert , thinking of you!

mumtrovert · 21/05/2025 07:46

Thank you @Blueskycat 🩷 hoping to hear some good news this morning that the embryo has survived the thaw!

EmmaLouise6790 · 21/05/2025 07:48

mumtrovert · 21/05/2025 09:19

mumtrovert · 21/05/2025 10:06

Embryo is all OK - transfer at 14:10! 😬😬

YourBusyZebra · 21/05/2025 10:23

@mumtrovert wishing you all the best with your transfer! good luck!

EmmaLouise6790 · 21/05/2025 12:09

Aww, sending sticky dust 🥰 not worked this time for me, negative with FR on 6dp5dt, thinking it may have tried to implant and then naffed off, hate how I've got to carry on tablets till 28th, roll on the next transfer. Thank you for asking ❤️ will keep checking in on your updates.

camelinastorm · 21/05/2025 15:34

@EmmaLouise6790 6 days past is very early to test maybe test in a few days, when's your official test day

PixieJxoxo · 21/05/2025 17:30

@mumtrovert hope today went brilliantly and crossing my fingers for a sticky one!

@EmmaLouise6790 I agree with @camelinastorm , 6dp is still quite early so don't count yourself out just yet!
