I thought I would start a thread for those scheduled for a FET in May.

Had egg collection in Feb, feels like forever ago now.

I have just started a medicated FET cycle. Started taking norethisterone today. Provisional transfer scheduled for May 27th.

Anyone else on a similar timeline?

Aw that’s brilliant, my son was a 4AB. Yeah I’m not too concerned with grading, but just kinda lingers in the back of my mind. Kudos to you holding out until then. I had my BFP with my DS on 8dpt so I feel like I want to keep it to the same time.
Feeling really bloated today, have a ‘full’ heavy feeling in my uterus and a few twinges so 🤞🏼

Blueskycat · 23/05/2025 20:57

Well let’s see if I do manage to hold out, easy to say I’m going to wait on transfer day 😂 Yes that makes complete sense to stick with what worked for you last time.

Ahh sounds like positive signs with your symptoms so far 🤞🏽

mumtrovert · 25/05/2025 20:02

How’re you feeling @Blueskycat?

Anyone else still waiting to test after transfer?

I realised yesterday that 8dpt is actually Thursday, I don’t know where I got Saturday from.. so this seems very close now!! I had a tiny amount of pale pink blood when I wiped yesterday afternoon, haven’t had anything else since that, so hoping that’s a good sign. 4dpt today and still have that ‘full’ uterus feeling, a bit crampy and tender.

Blueskycat · 26/05/2025 08:08

Wow Thursday isn’t long away at all, it’s Monday already!! That does all sound promising, are you feeling similar to how you felt with your successful transfer previously?

I’m feeling ok, although I haven’t had any symptoms at all, and at this point I would have hoped for a few twinges at least… trying not to feel down about it cos there’s nothing I can do either way. Any stories about symptomless BFPs would be very welcome!!

I’ve been managing to enjoy the bank holiday though so that’s good. Just willing the days to pass quickly and get to next Weds OTD!!

mumtrovert · 26/05/2025 09:38

I honestly don’t really remember.. I’ve woken up this morning though thinking it’s not worked because I don’t feel much different today. The rollercoaster!
I’m sure there’s ladies on this thread who said they had no symptoms and got positive results. Everyone is different! @Blueskycat

Cesas · 26/05/2025 11:52

Good luck to those still in the wait, it's such an anxious time for you all.

We tested at the weekend and unfortunately it's another negative 😓 feeling pretty sad as this is our fourth fail with no signs of implantation at all. We have 1 round left of the NHS (which I am so grateful for) so will see what happens. Think we might try some additional testing to see what's going x

Blueskycat · 26/05/2025 20:16

I’m so sorry to hear about your negative @Cesas, what a heartbreaking situation 😔 I really hope your clinic are supportive with investigations and you can get some answers ahead of your next round.

Thanks for the reassuring words @mumtrovert , and sorry you were feeling less positive this morning. The rollercoaster is so relentless… how are you doing this evening?
After way too much frantic googling I’m feeling reassured that no symptoms doesn’t mean it hasn’t worked… but honestly the mental battle is really something! I’m quite looking forward to the distraction of going back to work tomorrow.

Another day closer to test day, we can do it!

mumtrovert · 26/05/2025 22:24

Oh @Cesas I’m so sorry 😔 I’m sending you so much strength and love.

@Blueskycat absolutely you’re still 100% in it. If you think how many women have severe morning sickness and some get nothing at all.. everyone reacts differently. Today has been quite uneventful for me. I feel like I have some sharper pain, only a 1/10, but it’s not an ache or cramp. And my boobs are so sore but they were sore before transfer too! Bloody progesterone. Only 2 more full days to get through until I know. Hope work distracts you.

PixieJxoxo · 27/05/2025 13:33

@Cesas so sorry to hear - it's such a hard journey to go through for this outcome. I hope you're being well looked after as you deal with it

@Blueskycat @mumtrovert hope you're not going too stir crazy in the tww - you're both doing so well to hold out until otd.

I had a bit of a spiral because i didn't seem to progressing from 2-3 weeks on the clearblue digitals (i know, i know - they're so notoriously bad for being inaccurate), so booked in an early scan for saturday. I also know it's ridiculous as my NHS scan is on the following friday, but i just think having one less week of worry is worth it. So, only 3-4 days to go until i (hopefully) get some reassurance!

mumtrovert · 27/05/2025 13:38

@PixieJxoxo thank you. I remember all too well the spiral of checking that tests are progressing too. It’s so hard. Having that scan is a good idea, I hope it all turns out okay for you. I had so many early scans for reassurance too! If that’s how it gets you through then don’t feel bad about it. How far along are you?

confused2025 · 27/05/2025 14:52

Anyone having a transfer this week? Would be good to have a TWW pal

uhhuhyeahok · 27/05/2025 16:31

@confused2025 I am! I'm scheduled for Thursday, how about you?

I had the pre transfer blood test this morning and my progesterone is a full 11 points over what my clinic like so that is great news. Last cycle it was a little under and I had to add in extra after the transfer. This time I started doubling up from the beginning so clearly that has worked. Hopefully makes a difference this time.

confused2025 · 27/05/2025 16:58

@uhhuhyeahokthats amazing. I’m in on Friday - I was originally meant to be Monday but my lining was just at 7mm but now over 9 so they were happy to move forward. How are you feeling?

Raegs · 27/05/2025 17:54

@confused2025 @uhhuhyeahok I am on similar timelines to you both.

I had my transfer today. Had a call on the way to the clinic to say our first embryo was collapsing when defrosting and wasn't looking great so could they go ahead and defrost the next (we got 3 total).

They said they were happy with the 2nd embryo, said it wasn't re-expanding so well but cells looked healthy. So now we wait. Best of luck to you both for transfers.

mumtrovert · 27/05/2025 19:17

@Raegs fingers crossed. Welcome to the dreaded wait 🤪 when do you think you’ll test?

Good luck to you both for your transfers coming up! @confused2025 @uhhuhyeahok

confused2025 · 27/05/2025 19:32

@Raegshow are you feeling? I have two embryos and I have so much fear they won’t make the thaw. You can’t really relax in this process, can you lol and no vino or a bath to help relax.
sending you and @uhhuhyeahokall the luck. Thank you @mumtrovert

Blueskycat · 28/05/2025 08:29

Thanks @mumtrovert. You’re testing tomorrow right? So close now!! I’ve got everything crossed 🤞🏽
I’ll be testing this time next week 😱 Time is going so slowly but glad to have reached the one week countdown…

And thanks @PixieJxoxo , sounds like an extra scan is a good idea if it will help you feel more reassured 💕 No point worrying if it can be avoided!

welcome to the waiting crew @Raegs, how are you feeling post transfer?

good luck with your transfers later this week @uhhuhyeahok @confused2025

mumtrovert · 28/05/2025 08:38

I’ve woken up this morning feeling soooooo anxious 😔 praying that I get good news tomorrow. I’m back in work today, (Tuesday is my non working day) and I need to buy my FRER from the pharmacy at work. Hoping there’s some there. I can’t Amazon any because my mum is on my account and uses it almost daily, AND she looks back at the order history to see what I’ve been buying! She’s so nosey 🙈

Aw amazing! 1 week countdown @Blueskycat

Raegs · 28/05/2025 08:42

@mumtrovert the clinic said first test on the 6th but I have the 5th in my mind. I've been reading others experiences to see what everyone else does as I have no idea really. Good luck for tomorrow🤞🏽

@confused2025 feeling ok. My heart sank when they called at first. They are updating me today whether the first embryo is ok or not. Said it wasn't looking likely. Every part of this process is such a worry. Was just trying to keep relaxed as possible. Good luck Friday, not long now.

@Blueskycat hoping the days pass fast for you! I'm feeling ok at the moment - it's my first FET so I'm conscious of everything right now.

uhhuhyeahok · 28/05/2025 09:41

Thanks everyone! Hope you are all doing ok with the waiting.

I'm starting to get a bit jittery about my transfer tomorrow, the progesterone is my least favourite part especially with the extra injections but i know its having an effect at least.

YourBusyZebra · 28/05/2025 09:53

Sorry to jump into the conversation again, So I had a positive result last Thursday and have a scan due on the 4th of June but I was feeling a bit paranoid and thought I'd do another test this morning to check it's still positive but there is a white line running through it, is this normal? I'm going a bit crazy thinking that it's gone wrong 😞
Wishing everyone lots of luck with their transfers xxx

6w4d today, so 7 weeks exactly on the day of the scan, so hopefully everything lines up well on saturday. Thank you - it's reassuring to know i'm not just being ridiculously paranoid in wanting the extra scan (and no doubt if all goes well, will want another one between 8 and 12 weeks).

@YourBusyZebra i think that line looks great! The white parts are probably just where the dye hasn't settled properly - you can see it in both the test and control lines, so i wouldn't worry - just a quirk of the test!

YourBusyZebra · 28/05/2025 10:43

@PixieJxoxo thank you, I'm just feeling super on edge at the moment and regret taking that test😅
How are you feeling?

mumtrovert · 28/05/2025 10:56

@YourBusyZebra I’m sure that’s just a quirky test too! You can see how dark it is so I’m sure everything is fine, but I can see why you’d initially panic.

No FRER 😫😫 now I’ve got to scramble around today/tonight to try and find one

confused2025 · 28/05/2025 11:02

@uhhuhyeahokthe procedure itself is grand - it’s the TWW that is the killer and second guessing everything so be kind to yourself and get some McDonald fries after 🍟
@YourBusyZebra the line looks really strong to me. Sending you all of the luck x
@mumtrovert good luck for tomorrow x
@RaegsI can imagine in an already stressful situation x
