Hiya. I’m due to start IVF in March and just wanted to find some people who were going through the same so we can support/ advise eachother! I’m 32 and have been trying to get pregnant for 8 years now and just wanted to meet some people in the same boat!

@Miraclemuma03 actaully no pain at all but I was the same after my first ever egg collection where they got 9 eggs I believe. It was the other two where they got more I was uncomfortable.
how was the trigger? You did it last night right?

@Alexm06 well that's good your not in pain. Yes trigger last night, egg retrieval tomorrow morning around 10.30am my time.

@Miraclemuma03 yeh so I tested this morning first thing. There's a line. So I think I'll test same time over the next few days see if it gets darker 🤞

@Miraclemuma03 yeh I don't think it's real yet. I'm 11days post gonsai 5000 trigger. It might be gone? But I guess if I test tomorrow at the same time I can do a comparison if it's darker then it's real as the trigger at this stage wouldn't be getting darker. Even then I think I'd need another few days to believe. The trigger thing is freaking me out 🤣

So got the call! all 4 of my eggs were mature and 3 have fertilised. Transfers booked in for Saturday morning but I won’t hear anything now unless on Saturday they don’t have anything to transfer.

I think your pretty good with the trigger being all but not existent in your system by now. See what the next couple of days brings and go from there.

Congrats @spttcI do think the trigger should be gone now but hope you get a stronger line tomorrow.

And keeping fingers crossed for those with egg collections, and waiting for embryo news. Really hope there are a few more BFPs to come from this thread

@PrincessofLiechtenstein yeh see what's throwing me off is the line is strong for the equivalent dpo in my previous natural pregnancies if you get me. Maybe it progresses differently in ivf not sure. What if its twins 😅If I get a stronger line tomorrow I'll feel more confident ☺️

Hi guys, after your trigger shot did follicles continue to grow for an extra day? Or so?

Had a call from the clinic my FET is cancelled due to high progesterone from a cyst. Really disappointed and had a little cry in my clinic room at work.

Guess it gives me more time to take my supplements and improve my diet and remember I do have a life outside of IVF! Good luck to you all! Wish you all the best for your cycles xx

@lovelivelaugh64 yes they do. I was worried they stopped my stims on day 9 but they do that so the biggest ones dont get too big and burst. They don't want to lose the best ones while trying to make small ones catch up. They do continue growing

that’s the thread and for anyone else who’s in the 2ww who gets their bfp who wants to join, only a few of us currently but hopefully we will get more. I believe most of us are due oct/Nov/dec

Good luck everyone still on their journeys, haven’t really been replying on this thread much as I feel like it can be a struggle and don’t want to upset anyone who’s still waiting for bfp by being around too much now I’m pregnant if that makes sense. But hopefully I’ll see you all on the other thread soon 🤞🏻 whether it’s this cycle or in a couple months time you’ve all got this 👏🏻

@Timetotryagain they believe it will just go away with my next period. They said if it doesn’t then I will have to take some medicine, I assume birth control. They are gonna scan me on day 2 next cycle so if it’s still there at least I won’t have to take the Estradiol again for no reason.

Just thought I would share a little update as egg collection was today.

first 2 scans shown 2 follicles but for the first time ever they kept us on meds for longer and we had a 3rd scan Monday which shown 4 follicles. For reference this is our 3rd and final cycle after the first two had 3 follicles 2 eggs collected and 1 fertilising.

I was so pleased today and shocked when they told me they were actually able to get into 8 follicles and get eggs from every one. So that’s 8 eggs collected more than I have ever had before.

waiting for that phone call tomorrow with every finger and toe crossed we have more than one fertilise.

I did update on the April thread but thought I'd give an update here awell. It's not good news for me unfortunately. Looks like we have nothing to transfer. This might be the end of my ttc journey. I have a phone app tomorrow morning with the doctor to go through everything and whether it's worth going through another egg retrieval.
