@Stillhoping1990 I know what you mean with the symptoms but boy if you can avoid vomiting, you should. I am throwing up full dinners every day. Yesterday even a banana was too much - it made an appearance again an hour after I ate it. It's no fun but it is what it is. My clinic says it all shows I am well and truly pregnant :)
I am week 8 in two days and I worry all the time that something can still happen. It is so hard to keep positive. I understand your worries for the symptoms because as much as nausea for hours and vomiting every day is tiring, it is also reassuring all is well. I also was bleeding in week 6 and cried when I saw a heartbeat - I was so stressed before but the sonographer said she'd be surprised if I wouldn't be bleeding as all ladies she's ever seen after an IVF transfer had some level of spotting. So go figure. It doesn't ease my worries though.
In general my symptoms only started this week, week 7 with boobs hurting (a lot!) and with nausea which in my case is severe in the evenings, not in the mornings. I am still contemplating some sick leave because it is very very tiring. Oh and from week 6 I am generally exhausted around 4pm and I need to take a nap.
If you ladies who have scans later in the month or next month want reassurance, you can pay for the private scan, around £75, after week 6. It's a vaginal scan and you will know for sure all is well. Then you can still do week 8 scan again. Blood tests are not sufficient to know your embryo is developing and growing correctly, only ultrasound can confirm it.
