Hi all! Our last thread is full so thought i'd create a new one!

@Novavee the 2 week wait is awful...I managed not to test early However it was a challenge big time not too.... waiting will be worth it in the end 🙂 glad you took some time off to chillax.
I am doing good thank you.......I have my 16 week appointment with the midwife next week and we have booked a private scan next Thursday evening sooooo excited xxx

@Novavee thank you! I am very excited indeed, have my MW appointment tomorrow to collect notes and do my blood and urine test. Fingers crossed that everything will be ok at the scan...!! Won't find out results until my 16 week MW appointment which falls around Xmas time...

Hope you're holding up well, the wait is terrible esp if you suspect the hormones are playing with you. OTD only the round the corner tho!

@Lifa good luck with your 16week appointment! and is your 16week scan a 3D one? How exciting! I was debating about getting a scan after 12 weeks and before 20 weeks, but because we have christmas and new year in between, 20 weeks is going to come sooner than we think! So might get a 3D one booked in for after 20 weeks. Hope you are holding up well! How are your symptoms?

@ngy21 good luck with your MW appointment tomorrow 😊 our 16 week scan will be 2d and also 3d which is exciting can't wait, I am feeling a lot better since coming off all of the IVF medication I have the odd day of feeling sick but not like a few weeks ago....the last scan they could not see the hemotoma so all healed up 🙂....I am sporting the shape of a potato I have put on soooooo much weight and it's not due to eating 🙊 not to worry it will defo be worth it and can sort that out once the baby is here 💗💙 xxx

@Lifa thank you! it was a pretty straight forward appointment, got my 16 week one booked in for 23rd Dec! Good to know you are feeling loads better coming off your meds. And i feel the same as you, random odd day of feeling a bit off/sick... im not sure if it's because im not as active as before, so i think after my 12w scan if all is good i am going to start going to the gym more like i did pre-preg. So glad to hear there is no more hematoma! And i guess i will be your potato sister in this case as I have put on about a stone since the start of my IVF journey...
hopefully adding more gym days will slow down my weight gain, and of course healthy eating as i must admit, i haven't been picking the best foods.

@Novavee fingers crossed for your OTD tomorrow!

So it's OTD today and it's a BFP! Still can't believe it. Might spend the day looking at the test. It's still early days but for now we're going to enjoy this happy feeling.

@ngy21 I finally got the courage to email the clinic and tell them about the BFP (after testing again this morning, line is still there and getting stronger, which is a relief) and I have my scan in two weeks. Can't decide what will induce more anxiety, to keep testing until the scan or just trust the positive and stop poas.

I have also been feeling incredibly hungry the past two days and noticed if I am not snacking often throughout the day, I feel lightheaded and nauseous. When not eating I'm so sleepy and end up falling asleep during my commute, which is not like me at all.
Is this normal so early on?!

@Novavee yay!!! two weeks for scan is gonna come quicker than you think! I followed the steps of @beachbum85, did POAS using the CB digital (the one with weeks) once i reached 3+ i stopped.

Yes i had the sudden hunger! and if i dont eat i burp alot and i feel sick. Haven't been falling asleep much but had a few days where i needed to nap in the afternoon. At least you are noticing symptoms! Hope the they aren't making you feel too unwell tho. But it's all gonna be worth it!

I had my 12w dating scan today, currently 12w 4d and at my viability scan i was measuring 3 days ahead. Today i am still measuring 3 days ahead so i am suppose to be 13w!! Was good to see little bean! Crazy when i left, they told me to book my 20 week scan.... which is halfway point... madness!!

Had a bit of a wobble today after not having had any symptoms at all yesterday, not even a little twinge and ended up taking another test. Then panicked even more because the line was fainter than I was expecting, so I ended up buying different boxes of tests as soon as the shops were open this morning🙈
In retrospect, it wasn't FMU, it was not even middle of the night, so probably not concentrated enough and it was a different brand so I shouldn't really have tried to compare lines but I had ran out of frer, had a Clearblue rapid response lying around and the temptation was too much.
So now I have tests coming put of my handbag and have probably spent a stupid amount of money unnecessarily.
Not only did the hunger come back with a vengeance, it was accompanied by a headache that lasted all day and I could not stand the sickly sweet smell of one of my colleague's food. I had to leave the office to escape the smell.
I'll test with a frer tomorrow morning to properly compare and see how that goes.

So glad your scan went well! I bet it was amazing, seeing the little bean. I can't believe you're already booking your 20w scan!

We had our 16 week scan today....all went really well ....I am dating 6 days ahead which is positive and links in with dates better...the 4d part of the scan was amazing and they videoed this for us and sent to us I can't stop watching it.... defo recommend .....we found out we are having a boy 💙

I tested again today and all is fine. I need to stop panicking.

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!

Sorry I've been quite silent recently - I was really, really struggling with pregnancy sickness for quite a while, and then we spent a week away and now I almost feel like myself again :)

@Novavee glad to hear things are still going well for you. I think it's normal to panic but your symptoms sound very normal - halfway through the wait for your first scan! xx

@Lifa your 4D scan sounds wonderful - no wonder you were watching that on a loop! Congrats on the perfect dating and on your little boy - we're also having a boy! 💙

@ngy21 really glad your 12w scan went well and you're still measuring well and you're still generally feeling fine :) xx
Have you managed to go back to the gym? I can't seem to handle much more than yoga still, and I'm definitely not eating as healthy as I'd like to... some guilt there...

@Novavee it's always scary during very early days, I always worry now and I guess it's something we can't help but do... and it will never get easier! Sounds like you have a lot of symptoms tho, I've never experienced the food aversion and heightened smell (yet!)!!!

And I know it's crazy! I think with Xmas and new year round the corner everything seems to going at lightning speed. I got my results back for the down syndrome test and all came back low risk which is good!

@beachbum85 so good to hear you are feeling like yourself again! I have sort of managed to go back, but have only been swimming. I want to get back onto the gym floor and do some light exercise! Trying to aim to go gym at least twice a week..!

@ngy21 glad all is good for you, good luck with your appointment on Thursday 😘 I will be 20 weeks this Friday and have me next scan New Year's Eve, can't believe I will be half way through!! 🙃 my nausea has returned and I have low iron....I can't take iron tablets as made me sooooooo ill waiting to see what the consultant advices.....although baby is doing great which is excellent 🥰 xxx
