Hi ladies, I am due to transfer in August, likely early in the first week of, if there’s anyone else due to transfer around then, it would be great to hear from you!

Hi @Rj1988 thank you! The last couple of days I had slightly sore/tender boobs! And also a bit of nausea. No spotting though x

mouse1234567 · 21/08/2021 20:02

@Babydusttoall that is such lovely news to hear! How wonderful! Congrats! How many dpt do your clinic test? Well done holding out! That wait for the call must have been so tough!

@lucymills1234 have everything crossed for you tomorrow. It sounds like you have had a tough journey. Well done on making it through the tww.

@Goodthoughtsonly my OTD is the day before you. I’m really trying to hold out till next sat -which will be 11dpt. Will be hard tho! I just know tho that if it’s negative, I will feel so down and then still have to do all my meds, so as much as I want to know I also know it’s prob best for me to at least wait some more! Let’s see if it goes to plan!

@Rachae we sound similar re food. I’m trying to eat loads of different fruit and veg and avoid inflammatory food to a degree as not great for my endo. But it was my mums bday today and another party tomo so will be cake both days. I’m sure your dairy milk won’t harm. I think a little bit of what you like in balance must be fine?!

mouse1234567 · 21/08/2021 20:03

@Rj1988 you sound like you have been very busy. It’s sort of good being busy isn’t it as distraction but also nice to try and relax when on so many meds and so much else going on etc

Goodthoughtsonly · 21/08/2021 22:18

@mouse1234567 that sounds good, hope you manage to hold off until then! And then get the best news ever!

The reason why I wanna test early actually is because I'll have to fly to another country for a commitment Friday 27th, and it's gonna be stressful to travel and all - it'd be great to be able to get a tiny bit of calm of mind beforehand... Though I'll keep testing while away. Argh, ha ha. But that's why I can't do bloods too.

Girls, this 2 week wait is the hardest thing. I feel 1000000dpt, every day is so long. I'm keeping busy and happy but it's really more than I could imagine Grin plenty of baby dust to all of you.

Babydusttoall · 21/08/2021 22:40

Thank you @mouse1234567 so I was 9dpt today when they checked. I think it varies so. Duh between clinics though.

@Goodthoughtsonly aww I feel for you I honestly do. The tww is so so difficult. Wish I could suggest something to make it go faster for you. We are all here to keep u occupied during the next week to help Grin

Babydusttoall · 21/08/2021 22:40

So much*

Goodthoughtsonly · 22/08/2021 08:10

@Babydusttoall GrinGrinGrin yes, this place is really a big support!! I hope to be reading lots of good news from everybody!

mouse1234567 · 22/08/2021 09:24

@Goodthoughtsonly that totally makes sense -I would want to know a bit before flying away too. You are busy doing that so soon! I’m also finding this tww so tricky. Kept thinking I should test yesterday at 4dpt!!! Nooooo. Luckily resisted. I guess we just need to take it day by day. I’m out later which will be a good distraction! It is sooo hard!

@Babydusttoall that’s great you got it at 9dpt. My clinic always says 14!! Such a pain! You have to do urine test and then I believe if it’s positive they have you in for a blood test.

Goodthoughtsonly · 22/08/2021 17:31

@mouse1234567 much strength to you!! Yesss for going out, bring in all the distractions SmileSmile

Aluucard · 22/08/2021 18:09

Hi all,
I just happened to accidentally stumble onto this site. I am 35 yrs old. Had a tubal done over a decade ago and have four children. Have a new partner and we decided we want children. I had a failed fet last month. I didn’t feel anything after transfer.
Went in for a double fet 8/16. I know this sounds crazy but I’ve felt pregnant since that day. I took my first urine pregnancy test 4 days after transfer came back positive. Did a second one just in case another positive. I’ve done a total of 6 all positive. I go in for my blood one 8/25.
I apologize for the long post. No one is aware that my partner and I are doing this or even trying to start a family. This is the first time share with anyone. Freaking out a little that both embryos implanted. I have horrible heartburn, nausea, I’m beyond exhausted, very hungry, sore boobs, so bloated my pants are getting tight. I never had such aggressive early pregnancy symptoms.

Btw congratulations to all of you that tested positive and for those that haven’t. Don’t give up. There’s a light at the end of tunnel.

mouse1234567 · 22/08/2021 19:33

@Aluucard congrats! That’s great it worked second time with your FET. Hopefully your strong symptoms don’t necessarily mean two have implanted -maybe as you are older now the symptoms seem stronger and just because it’s a different baby/embryo? I know you can def get positives from a single transfer at 4dpt. The blood tests may give you an indication as to whether it could be two babies I imagine.

Babydusttoall · 22/08/2021 22:44

@Aluucard welcome and congrats!! I've heard of some people get really early positives after a transfer with a single pregnancy so u never know Grin exciting times tho. I've always said I would love to have twins Shock xx

maddymama2 · 23/08/2021 01:00

We did an at home pregnancy test this morning. We couldn't do blood test as in quarantine. It came back with pregnant (!!!) but we are going to do another one tomorrow morning to be sure and then a blood test next Monday.

When I say we, my partner is carrying using my egg. It's a great way for us both to be connected to a baby since we can't both be genetically connected.

mouse1234567 · 23/08/2021 07:54

@maddymama2 congrats to you and your partner! That’s such wonderful news! That sounds like such a lovely way that both you and your partner can feel connected to the baby. How many dpt is she?

mouse1234567 · 23/08/2021 07:58

Each day I’m trying to do as much as I can to keep me distracted from testing this end! I’m 6dpt. Busy morning today and going to try and distract myself with planning for work this afternoon and then tomo I have to go into work (starting a teaching post in September) and have dinner in the eve. Let’s see how long I last!!

Goodthoughtsonly · 23/08/2021 08:45

Congratulations @maddymama2 and @Aluucard! Thrilled for you.

@mouse1234567 hang in there! Hope you manage to keep yourself peaceful and distracted.

I have to confess that I cheated and tested already (5dp5dt)...and got a clear dark BFP!! I know it's still early... - but damn Yay!

2021babyhope · 23/08/2021 08:53

Hi everyone 😊

I hope you don't mind me asking here but for those of you who started a FET after a failed fresh, how long did it all take from finding out it had failed to the next actual transfer?

I think I'd find it easier to get straight back into it rather than waiting again but know it's largely out of my control.

Congratulations to those of you with BFP 🖤

Rj1988 · 23/08/2021 09:06

@Goodthoughtsonly @Aluucard @maddymama2 - many many congrats!!! SmileStarStar

What were your 2ww symptom?

Babydusttoall · 23/08/2021 09:24

Yayyy big big congratulations @maddymama2 and @Goodthoughtsonly sooooo pleased for you both how exciting!

@mouse1234567 i feel for you, it's so so hard to not give in and test but well done for keeping strong so far. Lots of baby dust to u!

@2021babyhope welcome! Sorry I'm unable to help but hopefully someone else can shed some light for you lovely! Hope it's very soon for you though xx

Goodthoughtsonly · 23/08/2021 11:59

@mouse1234567 hang in there Star I'm sorry I'm such a terrible example of 'not hanging in there' ha ha. It'll be super worth waiting. I'll be thinking about you these days. Keep distracted keep in touch!

Only symptom @Rj1988 is that yesterday all of a sudden my breasts got bigger and started hurting all over and I went oh-oh!

@2021babyhope I think it depends on the clinic, I've heard of waiting one more full cycle but I think certain places do probably two full cycles (or more? I'm not sure). I totally get you and hope that for you that they can arrange it for you soon xoxo

lucymills1234 · 23/08/2021 12:04

Hi all,

My OTD was yesterday and it was sadly another BFN. It was my fourth transfer - 5AA fresh BFN, 5AA FET BFN, 4AA FET chemical, 4AB FET BFN. Feeling very defeated.

Congratulations to those with BFPs and lots of luck to all still in the 2WW.

Rj1988 · 23/08/2021 12:16

@Goodthoughtsonly - I hope they are not hurting too bad!!

I honestly have zero symptom since my transfer, no sore boobs, no cramping, spotting or nausea and today is the 4dp5dt so I think the lil embryo hasn't implanted this time...

@lucymills1234 - I am really sorry...it must be heartbreaking..

you've had some excellent qualities blastocysts so you need to speak to your clinic.. you can do PGS/ERA but they both are very expensive so maybe worth doing some blood first to rule out any immune issues

2021babyhope · 23/08/2021 12:18

@lucymills1234 really, really sorry to hear that 🥺 I hope you've got some time to take care of you x

@Goodthoughtsonly unfortunately the earliest they could offer a follow up consultation was the 30th September so it'll definitely be October, possibly November before we can transfer again. Really frustrating but going to take the time to focus on my health and get ready for a new transfer. Our clinic doesn't have one consultant the whole was through your journey, every time it fails you basically go back to the start so it's really hard.

Babydusttoall · 23/08/2021 12:26

@lucymills1234 I'm so sorry to hear that :( please take it easy and take some time for yourself. You deserve it Star lots of baby dust you way. Keep positive and I hope you get ur BFP in the near future

Rachae · 23/08/2021 21:14

@Lucymills1234 I'm so sorry xxx
