Hi ladies, I am due to transfer in August, likely early in the first week of, if there’s anyone else due to transfer around then, it would be great to hear from you!

@Rachae Yay! Happy for you!! My lining was 7.9 on first measurement and 8 on second - and also had the right appearance, which is really important I guess - you're all set, it's happening!! Smile

@Babydusttoall I can imagine the nerves! I can barely sleep now, ha ha, can imagine right before testing. I'm excited for you. Keep positive xoxo

My official test day for urine test is 1st September (14 dpt) but they said I can try and test 12 dpt (30th) and let them know. To be honest and more realistic I'll probably be testing from Tuesday ha ha though I'll try to hold off.

Ladies,
Can’t believe I’m saying this but it’s good news!!!
Numbers increasing well so I am officially pregnant!!!
Was looking a bit unlikely last week with my really low hcg count but this little 3 year old chicken nugget wants to be here and I just need to hold onto it now!
I’d celebrate with a glass of fizz but of course I can, oh well sparkling water for me!

Babydusttoall · 20/08/2021 13:22

@juliet1990 omg yayyyyy!!!! So happy for you!! I can imagine how hard the last week must of been for you but well done xxx

juliet1990 · 20/08/2021 13:25

Thanks @Babydusttoall - been a traumatic long journey and if it can happen to me it can happen to anyone x

Babydusttoall · 20/08/2021 13:25

@Goodthoughtsonly was yours a 3 day transfer? Usually with a 5 day transfer u can test after 9days, or at least that's what they say at my clinic. I hope you get ur positive Tuesday to put ur mind at ease and make the wait a little easier.

Goodthoughtsonly · 20/08/2021 15:04

@juliet1990 that's such good news!! I'm so happy for you!!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaaaay congratulations xoxoxo

@Babydusttoall it's a 5 day transfer, I don't know why they wanna make me wait 14 whole days to be honest! I'll make sure to count the result at the end of the month as the right one of course and let them know only then and not despair too much until then, but I'm too impatient a person ha ha. 9 days after sounds like a good date to get an idea!

Rachae · 20/08/2021 19:27

@juliet1990 that is amazing news congratulations! Xx

mouse1234567 · 20/08/2021 21:16

Hi all,

@juliet1990 congrats -that’s so exciting! It also goes to show that some embryos implant later and all is certainly not lost when you test earlier.

@maddymama2 hope you tww is going ok. I think you have already done a week!? Well done!!

@Babydusttoall hope your also getting on ok in the 2ww. Is it tomo that is your test day? How many dpt? Best of luck if so.

@Goodthoughtsonly congrats on being PUPO! Hope you are feeling ok.

@Rachae good news your lining is ready. I wouldn’t worry too much -the doctors wouldn’t say it’s ok unless they thought it was thick enough. Being really cynical about it -they want their success rates to be as high as poss. I’m not sure -but does it also continue to thicken on the 5 days of progesterone before transfer?! Does anyone know?

@lucymills1234 hope your tww is going ok -you must be near to test day? Best of luck!

@SerendipitySunshine how are you feeling after your transfer? Hope ok

I’m 3dp5dt and feeling ok. Transfer was smooth apart from having to wait for my slot and being so bursting for the loo. Usually I find it emotional but I was literally so bursting I couldn’t think of anything else!! So far the tww has been ok. My OTD is 14 days after transfer and at the mo I’m think I will test next sat at 11 dpt but I can feel myself cracking a bit already. However I have tested early before on a chemical and it was horrible so I know for me the right thing is to try and wait as long as poss!! I’m fairly busy over the next few days and also starting to sort stuff for a new job I start in sep so it’s all good distraction!

What is everyone eating? I’m trying to be really healthy but it’s so boring and hopefully it actually helps!!

Hope everyone is having a good eve

Babydusttoall · 20/08/2021 21:27

@Goodthoughtsonly ah ok? Suppose every clinic has their own advice and processes. I'm so excited for you!

@mouse1234567 hello yes I need to be at the clinic for 815 tomorrow morning for my blood test. And will get the results after a couple of hours. So nervous I feel sick. Tomorrow I will be 9dp5dt xx

mouse1234567 · 20/08/2021 21:56

@Babydusttoall best of luck! It must be so nerve wracking waiting for tomorrow. Well done for making it though tho and waiting for the blood test . Will be thinking of you. At least you will find the result quite early with an early morning appointment.

juliet1990 · 20/08/2021 22:16

@Babydusttoall
My first blood test was last Saturday and I had to be at the clinic for 8am too. Not normally known for me to be up early on a Saturday but I didn’t mind making an exception that time.
Best of luck - keep us posted xxx

juliet1990 · 20/08/2021 22:20

@mouse1234567
Absolutely, just goes to show we are not all text book and you shouldn’t focus on what other people are getting on certain days, our bodies are all unique. I just thank my lucky stars my little frozen nugget just wanted to take its time to thaw out and settle in - definitely more tortoise than hare this one.

Babydusttoall · 20/08/2021 22:23

@mouse1234567 @juliet1990 thank you both. Haha yes I'm not a morning person AT ALL either but don't think il be sleeping tonight. Will keep you all posted tomorrow! X

Rj1988 · 20/08/2021 23:13

Hi ladies...

Hope you are all doing well. It's my first time in this group and just had my FET this morning with my 1 only blasto that made it to day 5..

Before freezing I was told it was grade 5 - hatching but this morning I was told it's a grade 4 - which means expanded but not hatching.. Not sure if did reacted to the thaw properly.. anyways the transfer is done now and the wait begins

Just curious how many of you experienced spotting after the transfer as that seems to be the no 1 symptom

juliet1990 · 21/08/2021 07:18

@Rj1988
Don’t focus too much on numbers - I only had one embryo left. A 5 day blast graded at 2BB which when you read about isn’t great.
I had no spotting at all - but I know people who have. The whole process is pretty invasive and the wonderful progesterone pessaries can irritate the cervix which can cause spotting
I tested neg on hot before my bloods so gave up hope and when my bloods were done 9dpt my hcg was only 11 which they told me wasn’t good and could mean a cp and I had to have a repeat blood test in a week to confirm
Long story short, it turned out ok but just to say, try and not over analyse. My little blast didn’t stick to the rule book and clearly implanted later than expected. Try to relax, it’s a stressful wait after transfer - just take one day at a time x

mouse1234567 · 21/08/2021 08:17

@Rj1988 congrats on being PUPO! It’s hard not to get focused on grading isn’t it -but my clinic don’t even really seem to discuss it unless pushed which makes me think that it’s not such a worry. My first transfer was a higher grade-chemical, second transfer Lower grade and am so lucky to have a one year old from it. None of my embryos are AAs but one still turned into a baby. Best of luck in the tww.

I spotted a bit of my first transfer because it was a chemical but on my second transfer which worked I did not spot. I’m 4dp5dt now abs haven’t had any spotting yet.

Rj1988 · 21/08/2021 10:54

@juliet1990 @mouse1234567 - totally agree with you even the best of AA can fail to implant...

I had 20 eggs collected and only 1 made it to blastocyst which was also a slow grower on day 3 so I have been quiet disheartened with the results and have small hope that this would work ...

My breasts feel so tender to touch cause of all the pessaries and have been struggling with a low grade headache since transfer, could be stress as well as I have been working almost 14 hours a day for the past few weeks ( it's a desk job but still )

I have an interview in the next 3 days so hopefully that should help me keep busy but at the same time I wish I had the luxury to go for a small staycation during the 2ww

How are the rest of you getting on ?

Rachae · 21/08/2021 11:33

Thanks! @mouse1234567
Yea my clinic said it would thicken more with the pessaries and estimates about 9-10mm. I'd be interested in what anyone else's was close to transfer? Dr Google says up to 14mm is optimal so I'm thinking I'm not far off.
Really glad your transfer went smooth! So I'd say I'm eating 'well' but I still haven't been able to conquer not eating dairy milk a few nights a week 🙈 Around that, I Googled everything for IVF this time and I'm eating stuff like grass fed beef, Avacado, salmon, nuts, strawberries etc.
@babydusttoall hope it went ok today!
@Rj1988 I can relate... Not sure how many cycles you've had but I had 19 eggs collected one cycle and only got an early blast. The second cycle I got less eggs and more blasts! Good luck for your interview! Xx

Babydusttoall · 21/08/2021 12:45

Hi everyone, I just received the call a short while ago to say that my transfer was a success and that I am now officially pregnant Smile honestly over the moon and so thankful 🥲 xx

Goodthoughtsonly · 21/08/2021 12:57

@Babydusttoall so happy for you!!!! Congratulations!! I've been thinking about you all morning - so happy for you.

Babydusttoall · 21/08/2021 12:59

@Goodthoughtsonly thank you so much. Honestly the wait this morning was the hardest wait of all! I was a wreck but so so pleased x

lucymills1234 · 21/08/2021 13:27

Big congratulations on your BFP, @Babydusttoall !

Thanks @mouse1234567 - yes, OTD is tomorrow. I've not tested early, I'm holding out. Mainly, to be honest, because I'm expecting a BFN. This is my fourth transfer (first three were 5AA BFN, 5AAA BFN, 4AA chemical) and this time (4AB) I've had none of the signs I got on my chemical. In fact, yesterday and today I've felt totally normal. No cramps, no breast soreness, nothing. A bit tired because I've had a few restless nights, but not really even as tired as I should be given the lack of sleep. This sucks.

Rachae · 21/08/2021 14:18

@babydusttoall Congratulations!!!

@Lucymills1234 aww hang on in there and best of luck for tomorrow. You don't know until you know xx

Babydusttoall · 21/08/2021 14:49

@lucymills1234 @Rachae thanks girls..feels so surreal but so over the moon xx

Fingers crossed for you ladies too. Will be thinking of you all. Please keep us posted xx

Rj1988 · 21/08/2021 18:23

@Babydusttoall - many many congrats!! What were your 2ww symptom?
