Hi ladies, I am due to transfer in August, likely early in the first week of, if there’s anyone else due to transfer around then, it would be great to hear from you!

@Mudra85 Thank you for the info, the nurse and my doctor seem so lovely, I have a good feeling re the clinic. I am on a short protocol, but because it's a frozen transfer predicted for start of November, it seems so far away. Just have to take each step as it comes and not focus too far ahead. Hope you are doing ok? X

@IVFhadenough and @Alexm06 hope everything is going well!! So sorry you lost one in defrost, thankfully there were more!! Hope you both are doing well in these days. Have you got plans for when to test?

My transfer date has been moved because the lining is not growing as they hoped - so a bit more days of meds, and probably will transfer around the 16th-17th... Argh. But it makes me happy to read about your transfers in the meantime.

Can I join you please? Getting ready for our first FET - had one fresh cycle, which resulted in our gorgeous DD. Currently on buserelin and progynova and feeling very tired, bloated and getting hot flushes! Hoping for transfer ina. fortnight or so, depending on lining scans etc. Feeling very nervous as this is our only chance for a sibling.

@Goodthoughtsonly I am planning to test on test day which is next Friday. I've tested early both times on my other transfers so yeah whether or not I actually test then I don't know but I'm hoping to haha.

@Dalooah I'm ok trying to keep as chill as possible so far so good haha. No symptoms really had a bit of a headache today and had a few cramps here and there but I reckon that's the cyclogest I'm on. How are you getting on?

Hi everyone 😊 I've just started a new thread as didn't realise there was one here, whoops!
I'm going through my first FET now and just started the estrogen tablets a few days ago. Transfer is due sometime within August 16th week. Super weird just taking tablets instead of all those injections... I've got 3 frozen embies and hoping the first one that thaws is ok xx

Hope it's ok to join you? I am about to have my fourth transfer, after two BFNs and most recently a chemical.

My clinic put my on a natural FET so I ovulation tracked and went for a scan on Saturday when I got my surge. That was my first and only appointment for this FET and I'd had no meds at all up to that point. Last night I started pessaries and also Clexane.

Transfer is set for Wednesday. I'm feeling out of sorts about it... firstly because though the tests show I surged on Friday evening, I noticed EWCM yesterday. When I've ovulation tracked before, I've got the EWCM and surge on the same day, so timings feel a bit weird.

Secondly, with my previous two FETs my lining has been 13mm+. This time it's 7.9mm, which the clinic say is fine but I worry it should be thicker. The two things combined are making me feel a bit unsettled and wonder if my body is primed for transfer.

I had a fresh cycle at 41 and got two blasts, one 5AA BFN and one stayed in the freezer so I could do another fresh round before I hit 42. That second cycle got five blasts, and was a freeze-all. I've had two FETs from it so far, a 5AA BFN and 4AA chemical. Have a total of 4 blasts left (will be 3 after this go) and all grade B or above, so I know I'm lucky in that respect. But it seems like there's not been a 'normal' one yet, as nothing has stuck. Hoping that the recent chemical shows that my body is capable of implantation, even if it was a crappy way to find that out!

Hey ladies, sorry for the late response!

I have been away for the past week and had very little phone signal and no wifi (it's been lovely!)! I am now 8DP5DT and I not holding out much hope at the moment! I have got very little hope as my "symptoms" come and go. Most of the time I feel nothing! I am aware that the symptoms are mostly from the progesterone, but I do feel that there is very little going on for the most part! I tested yesterday morning with a FRER, and it was BFN for me. I was able to see possibly the smallest shadow, but I don't think that that it was anything viable or anything more than line eyes!

I will now hold off I think. I don't know whether to test or whether to see if AF comes, and if it's a no show, then re-test at the weekend.

How is everyone getting on?

@IVFhadenough I have not yet! Been super busy at work so that has kept my mind of it. Still quite calm to be fair so I think I'll will be able to hold out till test day for the first time haha

I can't wait for transfer date. The lining wasn't growing much so I had three scans, increased medication... Now finally transfer is planned for Wednesday 18th!

I think I may have got a vfl/caught the early part of a BFP this morning. Time will tell, but I all of a sudden feel hope again.

Hope everyone is doing okay! Sorry again about the lack of responses, still away on holidays until Sunday. I’ll be better at staying in touch once home! ☺️

The transfer was fine, I have a 4AB now on board. I still wonder whether my lining was ok but it's in there now and I hope making itself comfortable!

Sadly the experience was overshadowed by learning immediately before transfer that the first choice blast didn't survive the thaw, and then when they reviewed the others they spotted that one of my blasts should never have been frozen at all, as it had double-fertilised so it's not viable. The clinic made a mistake and missed it.

I had gone in thinking I had four blasts (one for transfer yesterday and three more tries left after that) and after a short conversation that got halved to two in total - one now on board and one more in the freezer. Not the upbeat start to the 2WW you hope for!

Hope those in the 2WW are hanging in there...

Hi guys I'm so sorry I've been so AWOL on this chat. Had a lot going on recently. Caught the sickness bug and ended up with an overnight stay in hospital the other day. But feeling much better now!

I had my transfer today. Just back from the hospital and don't know what to do with myself. Rest or keep busy it's so hard 🥺

@lucymills1234 aww I'm sorry to hear that about the other embryos but keep positive and try not to think about it too much (although easier said than done) fingers crossed your embie sticks and you get your BFP next week.

@IVFhadenough Good luck hun, fingers crossed for you lovely! Ivf is such a traumatic experience I feel with all the ups and downs but fingers crossed for you!

@IVFhadenough ohhh hopefully you did see it! I'm due to test tomorrow and still have yet to test I'm surprised I've actually held out but now I'm just scared I think I don't really want to test haha.

@Babydusttoall welcome to the 2WW! Yes I was advised to act as if I was pregnant so I wouldn't recommend it.

Well I’m out ladies! Tested BFN this morning and I cannot see it changing now as I’m 11DP5DT. I am gutted to say the least. It’s hard to accept it’s over when you hear of so many people implanting late! I’ll do one more test Monday morning which is 14DPT and then let the clinic know.

So, I guess that leaves me to go ahead and try again sometime soon.

@Dalooah thank you! I hoped that this would have been the one! We had a MC in May after my April transfer and now a failed implantation. It’s rubbish!! 😔

@IVFhadenough me too! God Friday 13th sucks!! Why would that give it to me as a test date!

@Alexm06 oh no! I am so sorry! You know, I didn’t even realise or notice it was the 13th. My official test date is Monday, but I am struggling to see it changing now! Sending you lots of love, I wish this process was easier! 💕

@Alexm06 do you have any more Frosties waiting for you? Or do you know what your next plan is?

@IVFhadenough oh I hope it does change for you! Yeah we have 3 left but we lost one defrosting last time but yeah we will transfer 2 next time it's our last go on the nhs and then if that fails we will move clinics as that will be 4 transfers with the clinic I'm with and only a missed miscarriage with my first one. Have to wait 3 weeks for a follow up appointment so will see how that goes. I also had an endometrial scratch this time and have read it can last up to 3 cycles I just feel like I'm wasting a cycle in between the 2 and that's if they start me again straight after the follow up appointment.
