@HT2101 - thanks! I get low numbers but 1st cycle had a 100%day 5 rate but none suck around!

@Everhopeful35 and @Pattaz2711 I’ve had a similar experience! Felt really bloated for a few days after the egg collection, then felt normal again for a week or so and now feel incredibly full and bloated again. I’m not sure if it’s normal or if I should let my clinic know? I only had 5 eggs collected so doubt I was at risk of OHSS.

Have only taken the one test so far @Pattaz2711 - I have a blood test on Friday at the clinic so going to hold out for that.

Oh no hope everything is ok? I've also heard OHSS can be made worse by pregnancy so hopefully everything is ok? Will you get your blood test results back today? How many days last transfer are you?

So I had my first scan today. 18 follicles but they are all small. Doesn't that mean the medicine is not working? Shouldn't there be some larger ones?

Thanks everyone. I'm 7dp5dt now and yes, should get blood test results today. Will keep you all updated. @Dbrook Definitely let your clinic know any changes in your symptoms. Best to rule out OHSS. And @MorgenMuffel Amazing news on your scan!!!

@Everhopeful35 so sorry you're in pain - hopefully it is for the very best of reasons.

I'm feeling quite swollen today after EC on Monday. My belly feels enormous and my boobs are each about the size of my head and tender. I've had to get changed into my loosest, scruffiest summer dress as nothing else was comfortable on my belly. Otherwise I feel ok though so think I've got off lightly all things considered! Just a few twinges every now and then.

@elleceedee we have no next steps hun thats it we have tried for 14 years and the last year going through 3 ivfs and still with loses and no viable pregnancy. I turn 40 in a few months and we have eaten through our savings and now owe to family for the rest too. So for us thats it we have no more funds available to us. Xx

@MrsLouB so sorry to hear that it's the end of the road for you. Does your clinic offer counselling? It may be worth exploring to help you and DH process your thoughts. Just a thought, feel free to ignore if not appropriate. Big love to you, infertility is so unbelievably shit and I'm sorry.

Just got back from EC. They could t find my left ovary. Feel really disappointed.

Oh no! Did they still manage to get some from your other ovary? Did they know where your ovary had disappeared to? Mine is stuck to my uterus so can be difficult to find but I know some clinics won't even bother looking for it if there is even a hint that it might be in a tricky spot?

Oh @BabySweet85 that is frustrating!! Has this happened previously, sorry can’t remember if this is your first cycle. Hope you got some top quality eggs from the right side 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@elleceedee thanks hunny , yeah they do but i dont need to talk to someone about it, we have been processing it for many years and to be honest no one has an answer to why it didnt work or why we had our loses so we will be ok xxx

Thanks for all the well wishes ladies. Had a scan and they saw a fair bit of fluid in my stomach, ovaries are measuring 5cm so they said it's mild to moderate OHSS and hopefully can be treated at hind with fluids and paracetamol, so long as I don't feel sick. They have advised me to sleep sitting up, because lying flat puts pressure on ovaries and causes more pain - which I definitely experienced last night! Now waiting on tenterhooks for the blood test result. They are going to call before the end of the day. x

They got 8 which is how many I had on the right side. However lots of them were tiny and dormant I was told at my scan. Not sure how many are mature.

Hi ladies, so I just got a BFP! My HCG level is 55... not sure if that's good or bad for 7dp5dt. Going back in for a repeat blood test tomorrow. But tentatively excited!

Congratulations!!!! That's a great number! My clinic like it to be over 100 on 9dp5dt so if your hcg is doubling normally every 48 hours then it's really positive! 🥳🥳🥳

I've attached betabase record of hcg levels for successful pregnancies and yours is spot on!

Thank you for posting that chart @ivfgottostaypositive that's really helpful. My clinic offer a beta test after OTD and I'll probably go in for it if I get a BFP.

@BabySweet85 congrats on getting 8 eggs, sorry they couldn't get to the other ovary though. Fingers crossed for the next stage.

@zamzam11 - that's still a very good number! It depends on what protocol and your clinic's schedule. I think they grow 1mm a day, so hopefully plenty of time, you could try upping your protein intake.

@BabySweet85 - sorry that couldn't fine on of your ovaries, did they say why? Fingers crossed for some lucky ones overnight, I know how it feels to think it's all over but everything crossed that you get positive news in the morning be kind to yourself ❤
