@Eggling not until next wed so 8days yet.. so things could turn around massively.. I'm looking into getting a private test an see if it's actually happening..

@Eggling @Georgina125 those are good numbers for you both. Hope all goes well for ET. I think people who don't know much about IVF just assume it means a guaranteed baby, hence your boss' comment - but still not helpful! Hope you told them so!

@Mrbay glad EC went ok, sorry to hear you didn't get as many as you hoped but quality over quantity is always better. Hope its good news in the morning for you.

@All I had my viability scan today, despite serious scanxiety, it was good news! One little embryo in the right place and measuring the right size. Even saw a little flickering heartbeat :) Still can't quite believe it! Just completed my self-referral to the midwives at my local hospital - hopefully wont be too long to get my scan date, which is going to seem like an aaaage away.

Wow thanks so much for all the advice. My injection still hurt today but I did remember what a badass I am!

I'm definitely start to feel the effects.. Headaches and bloaty pinchy feelings. Hope something is going on!

How many days did those PUPO stim for? I really am not liking these injections!

I can't believe your boss's comment @Georgina125 - actually, scrap that, yes I can as people can be so tactless! Although as someone else said (sorry can't scroll back to see who it was without loosing my message!) it could just be that people think IVF equals a guaranteed baby at the end of it - it blows my mind that a 5 day old embryo can be inserted into a womb and not always result in a pregnancy. It's amazing that anyone gets pregnant naturally when you think of it like that. I'm really sorry to hear that you've had a rough couple of years and I'm so sorry to hear you lost your son. Hopefully this is the start of some good luck for you.

Oh wow @MorgenMuffel that seems to have come round really quickly (although probably didn't feel like that for you!) - great that you saw the heartbeat, I'm so thrilled for you! Scanxiety is a great word and captures those feelings perfectly!

@Mrbay well done on getting EC out of the way and fingers crossed you've got two great quality embryos there. How are you feeling? Crossing my fingers you get some great news in tomorrow's call.

@Zamzam21 welcome! I can't remember how long I stimmed for but I do remember it felt like a loooong time just because I was so uncomfortable!

I'm still only 1dp5dt... Wish I could just wake up on OTD. I still haven't got any tests in the house so may even try to hold out until day 7 or 8... Or not love to you all my lovely IVF buddies.

I have a scan on the 6th July - a week on Monday with the hospital recurrent miscarriage clinic and because my last two pregnancies were ectopic and then I've moved my clinic one to the following week on the 13th as didn't want them too close together x

Morning All!!

Clinic have already called (they are early birds!) Our bits work and we now have two embryos! They'll get checked tomorrow and then if no front runner, checked on day 4 and plan for a day 5 (only of they are behaving!)

Had terrible insomnia last night, didn't nod off until 2/3am! Queue endless googling of fibroids and pregnancy, found one study that showed that it had little to/no affect on the IVF however that was on ones half the size of mine - think cherry vs orange!

@Pattaz2711 - My DH called it a clittosaurus rex - um thanks hun - but back to normal!

I'm still a bit sore from yesterday, no idea how the multi egg ladies coped.

@Mrbay aw bless you.. will you have both transferred if they behave? Google is our own worst enemy sometimes isn't it. I'm always bloody on there.. haha you dH 😂😂.. you to sound the funniest peeps ever lol.. fingers crossed for you xx

@pattaz2711 Sorry I haven't been very active. I've been really ill since Monday night. My bloating and pain from the EC was just starting to ease on Sunday (nine days later!!) but on Monday night my stomach started swelling massively and I was in so much pain that I couldn't move much yesterday. I'm just en route into the clinic to have a scan as they're worried about OHSS but they said that because it was getting better and suddenly got worse, it could be a sign of pregnancy (apparently HCG causes symptoms to worsen). Trying not to get my hopes up... Doc said he may do a HCG blood test today, but we'll see. Wish me luck. I'm in so much pain

@Pattaz2711 I’m not too bad thanks, annoyed that AF still hasn’t turned up, and having to go back to the clinic this morning as I’ve run out of syringes for my Buserelin. How are you? Still feeling a bit rubbish?

@Everhopeful35 sorry your in pain my sweet. That's how I've been feeling since Wednesday I was going to book a doctors appointment for a water sample. I was told the same could be signs. Mines obvs not the same as you had ec.. hopefully it's good signs for you fingers crossed thinking of you let us know how you get on :) good if they blood test for you ❤️

@HT2101 oh no that's not good especially when you have to make a trip I wouldn't be happy either.. I've still got stomach cramps which wakes me up at night an sicky feeling .. I really wish my clinic did blood testing.. I'm still testing I don't know if there getting darker or just my eyes.. hope today you manage to get what you need
