@ivfdreaming they wouldn't say anything they said they don't measure stuff but said it was very hard to see an that heartbeat was slower than Monday!
So another waiting game..

That's so random that they don't measure anything! I've never heard of any clinic saying this before?

I'm doing ok - no scans or anything booked in until the 12 week scan but I think I'm going to book a private one for the week after next when I'll be 9 1/2 weeks as still worried about the twin in the smaller sac and want to make sure it's grown x

@ivfdreaming yep she said we don't measure heart or scan, or tell you what they are they took on measurement of the sac for there nots to see next week an that's that. Took me in a room an said we just don't know what's going to happen especially with this sac..

Aw bless a lot of People are doing private scans atm.. I would for reassurance for you.. was your identical or did you have 2 embryos put back

@Dbrook EPU have such a better way of looking an experience, maybe you had a late implantation could that be???

Where abouts in the country are you based @Dbrook?

We put two back in - one a hatching day 5 blastocyst and the other a day 6 expanded one so some difference in size is to be expected I guess x

Thanks @ivfdreaming and @Everhopeful35. I’ve heard of St Mary’s so will look into them. My feeling is that it’s down to chromosomal abnormalities and I know there’s not much they can do in that case. But I don’t want to move on to donor eggs and miscarry again because there was another factor at play which I didn’t know about. It’s just so hard. In the 2-3 years we’ve been trying I’ve watched about 30 friends and former classmates the same age as me get pregnant and take home babies. Even opening WhatsApp messages is triggering because I think it will be another pregnancy announcement.

@pattaz2711 there’s a small chance but the EPU warned me in most cases like this it’s a miscarriage. I’m so sorry you’re still in limbo but it’s great that you’re seeing a heartbeat.

@HT2101 I’m in London.

@Dbrook I’m at the Lister. Have found them willing to try lots of different things with me including NK Cell testing, PGS of embryo, EMMA, ERA tests etc. They also specialise in “older” women, pains me to say that.... but don’t worry I’m older than you 😉 x

@Dbrook did you use the embryoscope during treatment? Maybe that could be an option moving forward x

Don't know if anyone will remember me, as I was more present on the general TTC board. I was on the March April one of these. Been around since 2018.

Just got a BFP after 2 early blastocysts were transferred on Saturday. Trigger gone. Can't believe it.

So I tested a day early, test day is tomorrow, light bleeding continues, BFN 😔. I was so hopeful it was gong to work. Will ring the clinic at 9 to see what they say

So sorry it looks like your round hasn't worked be kind to yourself today - do you have any more frozen? Xx

@ivfdreaming we are very lucky to have 5 in the freezer, 3 day 5s and 2 days 6s. I am hoping to straight into another go this cycle but a imagine they’ll say I need to wait one full cycle. I also imagine they’ll still want me to test tomorrow but I feel better today now I know and can plan. The not knowing and second guessing was killing me.

@Evey43 sorry to hear about your result. You’re right the wait is the worst part. That is a great amount in the freezer though x

Just got out of the clinic. Baby's heart rate is very low and they think it's a miscarriage. Just waiting on HCG results this afternoon. Pretty devastated that I've now potentially lost two.

I'm so so sorry. So no chance at all? Had the baby grown at all since Wednesday?

It's grown but not by much. It's now 5.3mm, heart rate is around 80-90bpm.

Oh no @Everhopeful35 not you too. It’s just so unfair. When is the next scan?

just wanted to give you all a virtual hug i cannot put into words how sorry i am that you are all going through this. Having been there myself more than once i understand how the waiting and not knowing 100% and having that hope. Please all take care of yourselves x

Thanks @Dbrook @MrsLouB @ivfdreaming. Just had the call with my HCG results. They have risen from 22000 to 29000, so they can't say it's a miscarriage yet (though personally I think it's delaying the inevitable). They want me to go back in on Saturday and Monday for further scans. If it doesn't have a strong heartbeat by Monday, it's over.
