I’m having a panic today, just had some light pink spotting on tissue paper as I went for a wee. Test day is Friday, but if this was a normal cycle I would be due on tomorrow. I can’t think it would be implantation as that would have happened already. I sometimes get a bit of spotting before my period so I’m worried it’s a bad sign. I’m on cyclogest tho and I though that would delay my period even if IVF hasn’t work. 😔

@ivfdreaming Thank you! Had the scan and thankfully there's a heartbeat. Foetus is only 4.4mm so too small to measure the heartbeat at the moment apparently, so happy but still not feeling entirely relieved. Doc seemed happy that everything was growing and going in the right direction though. Waiting on some more blood results this afternoon and if they're okay I'm just going to enjoy a slight period of reprieve before the next scan. Definitely can't maintain this level of anxiety! Oh and the spotting: doc saw a very small blood clot in scan and said it's likely caused by the second sac, and it's trying to make its way out, like you suggested. She didn't seem worried. Wishing you so much luck for your scan this afternoon too. Let us know how it goes.

@Evey43 Don't panic! I had pink spotting once, two days before a BFP. Could be a good sign x

Great news! And actually 4.4mm is about right for your dates isn't (based on a study specific to IVF and CRL lengths) - I'll attach it....

Try and relax a little bit although I know easier said than done. When is your next scan??

I had my midwife appointment and had to go through details of all 7 losses which was hard - just got to get this afternoon out of the way xx

@ivfdreaming I can see now what you meant when you said you love researching! 🤣 This is such a helpful chart and really reassuring, thank you. That must have been so hard to go through all your losses with god midwife. I didn't realise you'd had seven. That's so awful. A friend of mine had seven too and is now a couple of months away from giving birth (she did IVF), so there's always hope.

Thanks @BabySweet85, had my EC yesterday and now got to wait for day 3 and day 5 phone calls. Trying hard to distract myself and get reacquainted with my old friend Mr Cyclogest....have just waddled to Boots to buy some Fibregel.

@Everhopeful35 I’m really glad you’re scan went well, that is good news! Hope the blood results give you more reassurance too.

I called then clinic nurse and she has really reassured me, obvious I could still get a BFN on Friday but she said 80% of women get some spotting between transfer and test day so feeling better. I was also feeling a bit crampy but she said it’s very common and not an indication either way.

Hey hope you don’t mind me joining this thread. I am just stimming for my first FET
13 days on progynova and my lining is only at 6mm
Nurse said that they want it closer to 11.. they will be calling me to tell me whether to up my dosage or not.
I am OBVIOUSLY panicking at this. I’ve never had any issues with my lining before, all other monitoring scans told me that lining was perfect.

Bit worried tbh xxx

Hi ladies so scan went well - both babies have a heartbeat of 157. One measuring a day or two behind and the smaller ones sac is much smaller but Doctor says that's ok as the size and heartbeat is good.

Amazing news @ivfdreaming - you must be so relieved! Hope you're doing something nice now to celebrate. Can I ask, did you get the fetal heart rates at your first scan? I'm worried that my little fetal pole didn't have a strong enough rate to measure this morning. Do you think that's normal? I was feeling okay about everything earlier but then clinic called this afternoon and said they want to increase my steroid tabs to two a day to 'help try and get a stronger heartbeat' and now I'm worried again. Honestly, my clinic are driving me nuts with this constant monitoring. I know they're trying to do their best for me but it's too much for my anxiety!!

@Zillenial Welcome to the group! Not sure why your clinic want you to be near to 11mm for transfer. On the day of mine, my lining was 8mm and they said that was great!

Definitely relieved about heartbeat rate and also size of both babies. Only thing which makes me nervous is the sac size of the second one

I'm pretty sure they put the monitor on the heartbeats last week but they didn't tell me what the heart rate was and the notes just state "foetal heart rate detected" - I was kicking myself when I got home for not asking the rate but then I read that because it's so small they don't always measure the beats per minute (mine were about the same size as yours not much bigger)

@ivfdreaming good news on the twinneys.. I looked at your chart that you put up mine is measuring 6wks5days they put on there 6wks2days..

Yeah I read that the sizes they use for dating are quite out of date and actually IVF pregnancies can date differently

Don't worry about the symptoms - I don't have any either xx

@pattaz2711 I really hope things goes well tomorrow and you get some much needed reassurance.

You ladies seem to be having a lot of monitoring, I think my clinic has said if I get BFP (🤞🤞🤞) then they do a scan at 7 weeks. They haven’t mentioned any other monitoring. Is it clinic to clinic? Or based on history? Or something else?

@Evey43 my clinic hasn't either it's me pushing hospital early pregnancy, my clinic doesn't care I phoned them last week an was told oh dear will see you next week.. blood tests I've had to pay privately at a private hospital..
When I see how other clinics have helped them..
I haven't seen my clinic since transfer even with all the pain

@pattaz2711 I thought maybe I was missing something. I am sorry to hear you don’t feel looked after. IVF is stressful enough without everything you are going through as well. I will think of you tomorrow

My clinic is very good and I could have had extra scans and blood tests if I had wanted them but because of my complicated medical history I also get scanned at my local hospital which is why I've had extra too

@Evey43 Mine is the same as you. BFP and then scan at 7 weeks - nothing in between. It is NHS though, not private, so thought that might be why?

@BabySweet85 @Evey43 I'm private no extras. I've had complications etc an they still just wait lol.. when on here you see how much other clinics do. Especially when going through stuff like I have this week.
