Hi Ladies, I am hoping I can slide on in and join your group.
TTC for 2.5 years. 6 months of Chlomid and a failed ICSI in Feb. Just started my 2nd antag cycle today with Gonal F and was just looking for a group of ladies that can understand the moodswings, aches, pains, bloatiness etc. My DH is amazing and so supportive but even through this process it would be quite nice to keep some of the magic going....
Please let me know if I can join your discussion.

@Pattaz2711 that's a great line hurrah! really pleased for you x you can now join me in panicking about whether it will stick lol I'm feeling ok thanks but had some cramps/discomfort yesterday and this morning so my anxiety is sky high....

I had a couple of cramps yesterday too so trying not to worry too much. Did you get a blood hcg test with your clinic? Are you continuing to test?

@ivfgottostaypositive @Pattaz2711 I haven't tested since my OTD on Friday which was 14dp4dt, I'm now 17dp4dt. I just thought I'd drive myself mad with looking for line progression and I honestly don't need help feeling anxious! But now I'm wishing maybe I had 🙄 I don't get a blood test, the clinic just accepts the hpt result so now just a nervous wait til my scan in 3 weeks. I'm just assuming it's ok unless I bleed but I haven't ever been pregnant before so I have no clue

Your taking the right approach definitely! I wouldn't worry unless you have any spotting/bleeding. I guess because I've lost 7 previous pregnancies between 7 and 12 weeks I like to feel prepared a bit and lack of line progression/not getting clearblue 3+ when I should has always signallled something was wrong and at least I could then prepare myself x

Welcome @JenniferJS, you’ve found the best group...😉 I’ve tried Gonal F but switching to Menopur this time round. Do you have a date for EC yet?

@Georgina125 - welcome! Fellow endo suffer here. That's a great number! My last cycle I got 3 blastos so you've a very good chance of getting quite a few.

@MrsLouB - I'm very sorry to read that. Take some time to process everything and of course you can stick around but understand if later you choose not too.

@HJF84 - I'm impressed that you resisted the urge to test, fingers crossed for a speedy and positive result.

Date for my egg collection is penciled in for 3rd July.
My last roung was Gonal F too but this time they have upped it to 300 units. Why did you have to switch? Was it not working?

@Mrbay delighted to hear things are semi-back to normal down there....

@JenniferJS no particular reason, I’ve had two failed ICSI’s on Gonal F so having a complete change this time round. Have swapped syranel to buserelin too.

Don’t read anything in to that though, lots of lovely BFP’s come from Gonal F.

@Pattaz2711 - I know that feeling!! Now the weather has gotten warmer, I can't stand a bath but doesn't stop me thinking about having one. Only to jump in and spend 5 mins before jumping out again!

@HT2101was does buserelin do? I was told to add it to my meds order but never used it and was never told to use it.

I'm just back from egg collection. It was ok, except it took ages for me to do a wee after and they wouldn't let me go until I had! They got 21 eggs. DH's sperm also all looked fine which was a shock as the last two samples he's had 0% morphology. We're still going ahead with icsi so will see how things develop this week.

@eggling Good luck......now the exciting bit starts waiting to see how they develop.
I always felt like there should be a fanfare or something when the injections start but it is just like any other day.

Wow @Eggling that’s great news on your EC. Fingers crossed you get a good fertilisation rate. Were you on a short or long protocol?
