Thanks @HT2101 and @elleceedee - hope your call with the clinic goes well!

BKB27 · 04/07/2020 11:23

Sorry to hear that @Ails826 - what are the next steps for you once the OHSS resolves?

Ails826 · 04/07/2020 11:30

@BKB27 frozen transfer in August probably end of August. Today is my day 5 and they let them grow until tomorrow evening before freezing or discarding
We have to miss a cycle to allow my body to get back down in terms of hormones
What about you?

Mrbay · 04/07/2020 11:32

Morning All

Sorry still a negative nelly, took a test this morning wasn't my FMU as I woke at 5am this morning! No idea why!! So took a FRER at 8am and it was negative - I am 6dp5dt so I know it is still early but still a bit of a kick in the teeth. Having slight crampy flutters, not something I normally get before my period so god knows!

@elleceedee - brown spots are normal, when I had an early MC it was bright red and lots, no spotting just there, so I wouldn't panic just yet - big hugs.

@Ails826 - I know it sucks that today would have been transfer day but it sounds like it would have put your health at risk so I'm glad that you've found peace with it.

Good luck @HT2101 - thanks for the support too.

I will read messages but I'm not sure I'll pitch in today feeling really shitty as this is the last time I am going to do this and its horrible thinking that is it.

Much love all :)

Dbrook · 04/07/2020 14:03

@elleceedee sorry to hear you had a scare this morning. Did you manage to speak to your clinic?

BabySweet85 · 04/07/2020 14:19

@Mrbay sorry you are feeling down. It really is early days.

elleceedee · 04/07/2020 14:46

@Mrbay you aren't out yet, 6dp5dt is still very early days. I understand you feel disappointed not to see a BFP yet though. Fingers crossed you'll see two lovely lines next time you test. Thank you for reassuring me about my spotting.

@HT2101 @Dbrook @BKB27 thank you ladies. Spoke to my clinic (ended up crying to the poor nurse over the phone Blush) and they were not at all concerned about the spotting, said it can happen even after initial implantation as the embryo implants further - I really hope this is the case! Not much I can do anyway I guess! Scan is booked for 3 weeks time so just got to try and hope for the best until then.

@Mrbay You definitely aren't out yet! I got my BFP 7dp5dt and my hcg that day was only 55. You only get a positive on a lot of tests over 25, so I reckon the day before I got my BFP I may have also got a BFN. It's early days and it depends when implantation happens. Keep us updated.

@elleceedee Sorry to hear about the spotting, but like everyone says to me the other day when I was panicking - if your clinic isn't worried, that's a good sign. I had spotting for two days around implantation with a past pregnancy.

I've had a much more positive day today. No clinic visit until tomorrow and because my OHSS has finally gone down I managed to get out for a long walk. Feel so much better for it. @SKP77 Sorry to hear you've joined @Ails826 and me in the OHSS club! I thought it was rare but this group goes to prove it isn't. It's horrible, but just rest up and drink lots of sports drinks and salty foods. Try eating little and often - I found if I had a large meal I'd get so uncomfortable I'd almost be in tears, abc it caused nasty indigestion too. So just little bits every couple of hours. And as hard as it is, keep drinking the water. I was downing four litres a day. Mine has taken 11 days to get better but I hope yours passes sooner.

pattaz2711 · 04/07/2020 19:24

I'm catching up sorry I've had to phone doctors I've had really bad cramping in my left side..

@elleceedee I hope your ok my seeet has it settled down?

@Mrbay your not out yet darling, still early thinking of you huni

Love to you all lovely ladies

pattaz2711 · 04/07/2020 19:34

Feel bad messaging the emgercy number

BabySweet85 · 04/07/2020 20:04

I took at test today 5dp5dt and there was a very faint line.

We decided to go for a drove this evening, DH crashed the car into the back of somebody. My seat belt pulled really hard on my lower abdomen. Any ounce of happiness I felt earlier is completely gone.

elleceedee · 04/07/2020 20:16

@BabySweet85 oh my goodness what a time for that to happen - hope you are both ok? I hope the crash wasnt too serious? I understand that you must be so worried - I would be too - but there is nothing that you can do now other than try to be as relaxed and rested as possible. It sounds like if you've seen a faint line already, the embryo is already implanted and everything I've read over the 7 years I've been TTC and through IVF there is very little you can do to stop an embryo once it's started to implant unless there's a chromosomal issue. Please try not to worry too much, focus on those two lovely lines you saw earlier. There's lots of fertility meditation on YouTube - I would advise doing something like that (if it's your thing - it might not be!) just to calm yourself down and get your mind focused on the positive. Sending so much love to you.

BabySweet85 · 04/07/2020 20:18

Thanks @elleceedee - it wasn’t serious - less than 30mph but I know the seat belt pulled hard in that area. I have a stomach ache now. Feel so sad.

elleceedee · 04/07/2020 20:24

@BabySweet85 that's good that it was at a low speed - remember the embryo is really well cushioned in there so hopefully all will be ok. Try to rest now and hopefully you'll see a darker line next time you test.

Evey43 · 04/07/2020 22:06

@BabySweet85 oh no! I hope you are ok!

I’m sure that as scary as the crash was and of course it will make you worry (as for me going through IVF, everything feels so fragile) I can’t imagine it has caused any significant trauma that would alter anything. Why not phone the clinic and mention it to get some reassurance?

Xx

elleceedee · 05/07/2020 06:17

@BabySweet85 how are you feeling this morning?

OP posts:
HT2101 · 05/07/2020 08:20

@Mrbay @elleceedee how you both feeling this morning? Hope you managed to get some rest xx

Everhopeful35 · 05/07/2020 08:35

@BabySweet85 I'm so sorry to hear about your crash! I hope you're okay. Don't panic - I agree with @elleceedee, the embryo is well cushioned in there. Call your clinic if your worried though.

@elleceedee How is your spotting today

@pattaz2711 Sorry to hear you've had pain. What sort of pain was it (achey/sharp)? What did they say when you called emergency number. Weirdly, I also had an ache much of yesterday on my left hand side abc started to worry. I'm in the clinic this morning and plan to ask them about it, so will let you know what they say.

pattaz2711 · 05/07/2020 08:39

@Everhopeful35 they said that's it's to early to say if it's eptopic as I wouldn't feel pain yet.. an said if it gets worse go to a&e if not.. an still uncomfortable on Monday to been see in EPU. I've started spotting early hours of this morning..
how are you? Let me know what they say xx

elleceedee · 05/07/2020 09:03

@Pattaz2711 I hope the pain settles down for you. Can you self refer to EPU next week if you're worried? Hopefully they'd be able to do a scan to check it's in the right place at least even if you're not able to see a heartbeat yet.

@Everhopeful35 hope your clinic visit goes ok, let us know how you get on.

@HT2101 how are you today? When is your next scan?

I'm doing ok this morning, the spotting I had seems to have calmed down a bit but there was still some on my pantyliner this morning. Trying not to worry. My DD has suddenly decided she wants to be awake for about 2-3 hours in the middle of the night and then the dog woke me up at 5 barking at goodness knows what so I've not had much sleep but hoping we can just chill out a bit today. I've ordered some more digital tests online that should be coming today so going to do another on to give me a bit of reassurance hopefully that it's at least still showing 2-3 weeks.

Everhopeful35 · 05/07/2020 09:09

I feel like I want to give everyone in here a huge hug today! So many things going on to stress about. Stay strong ladies. @pattaz2711 That's interesting that they said it'd be too early for it to be ectopic pain. Has that reassured you a bit? xx

Everhopeful35 · 05/07/2020 09:34

@pattaz2711 My clinic were reassuringly dismissive of my pain, if that makes you feel better! They said that in early pregnancy you can get pain on one side or both sides regularly and it's nothing to panic about. xx

pattaz2711 · 05/07/2020 09:36

@Everhopeful35 Those HCG levels sound very good. The only thing we would think about would be an ectopic but in reality at such an early stage I would not expect any pain. If gets worse I think you should go to A and E and if still uncomfortable on Monday maybe we should see you in the early pregnancy unit at the RIH
This is whT mine said I don't think it's the usual doctor cause he normally rings

BabySweet85 · 05/07/2020 10:49

@Everhopeful35 @elleceedee I just woke up feeling really sad. My stomach is stiff and sore. The clinic said nothing can be done until my OTD. Just have to ride it out. They said I am well cushioned and it is deep behind the pelvic bone. But I just keep thinking about how hard the seatbelt pulled on me.

pattaz2711 · 05/07/2020 10:52

I'm so confused aswell are we 5 weeks or are we 3 weeks??? This is so confusing
