@Pattaz2711 the clear blue digital tests show weeks "from conception" not the actual number of weeks pregnant, you need to add two weeks to that. So even though you're getting 3+ weeks pregnant on the tests, you're actually 5 weeks pregnant. I'm sure there's a better way of explaining it than that but I'm pretty tired and that's the best I can do!

Morning all how is everyone today.. hope your all well xx

Evey43 · 06/07/2020 09:47

@pattaz2711 just got a call from the clinic and am heading out soon for egg transfer! I’m so nervous I could be sick. Good news though, they have 3 other eggs to freeze.

Hope everyone is good today xx

BKB27 · 06/07/2020 11:34

Morning @pattaz2711 all good thanks, how are you? Had my trigger shot last night at 11.30, feeling a little sore this morning and more bloated! Good luck with your transfer @Evey43, fab news about your eggs!

pattaz2711 · 06/07/2020 11:42

Morning I've been for a scan this morning as they thought possible eptopic..

Which wasn't.. they seen the sac an yolk sac but said they said the gestation sac is abnormal what does that even mean

Everhopeful35 · 06/07/2020 12:11

@pattaz2711 I'm so glad to hear it's not ectopic, but it sounds like they haven't exactly been reassuring and put your mind at ease. What did they say after telling you the gestational sac was abnormal? Are they concerned? Hope you're okay. Are you still in pain?

@BKB27 Well done on your trigger! It feels like a really big moment. How long did your stimulation last for?

@Evey43 Good luck for the transfer!

pattaz2711 · 06/07/2020 12:21

No they haven't reassured me

There words good news it's not eptopic but the ultrasound says abnormal gestational sac which could mean its growing or could mean this pregnancy isn't going anywhere... but will have to see what happens sorry can't give any answers that was literally it.

@BKB27 well done hun good luck with egg collection

@Evey43 good luck with transfer

BKB27 · 06/07/2020 12:22

@pattaz2711 glad to hear its not ectopic. They should give you more detail and try and put your mind at ease. Do you have any other appointments with them?

@Everhopeful35 thank you! 11 days of stimulation. EC is tomorrow. Feeling pretty nervous! We haven't told anyone in our family and friends about it and trying to explain why we are isolating without giving the game away! How are you?

Dbrook · 06/07/2020 13:06

@pattaz2711 Sorry they couldn’t reassure you, did you go to the EPU or was the scan at the clinic? Do you have a follow up scan booked?

@Evey43 and @BKB27 Good luck with the transfer and egg collection.

pattaz2711 · 06/07/2020 13:10

@Dbrook EPU did the scan, my consultant was there but didn't see him..
just got to wait for my appointment next Wednesday morning literally in a state this morning an now have to wait another week I've tried to goggle irregular shap gestation sac can't find anything apart from abnormalities with growing fetus

HT2101 · 06/07/2020 13:17

@pattaz2711 sorry you’ve been left in such a state, doesn’t seem very fair they tell you all that then make you wait for a week with no further answers

@Evey43 great position to be in, give yourself a pat on the back.

Good luck with @BKB27, will be over and done before you know it.

I’m just back from my second stim scan. Panicking as don’t seem to be too many follicles and reading how everyone has had double figures on egg collection.

pattaz2711 · 06/07/2020 13:35

Im in a right state I don't know what to do.. what even is a irregular shape.. I don't get it..

Sorry negative nelly is here again x

Evey43 · 06/07/2020 14:01

Thanks everyone, home now

@pattaz2711 I’m sorry to hear what you’re going through? Is there a specific nurse/dr you see at all that you could call just to talk it out? (I’m at a satellite clinic so usually see the same person)

@BKB27 good luck tomorrow!

@HT2101 when is your next scan, mine seemed to do more between scan 2 and 3

Xx

BKB27 · 06/07/2020 14:26

@Evey43 thanks! how did the transfer go? Was it quite quick? @HT2101 I had a few scans as well, seems as if they were slow on the uptake but overnight can just grown quickly! Have they said to increase your dosage or anything? @pattaz2711 that's crazy they've left you with so little info only to make you wait a week. Google isn't always great at times like this either. I hope you can get in touch with a nurse/consultant who can help. Thanks @Dbrook hope you're well

HT2101 · 06/07/2020 14:34

Thanks @BKB27 @Evey43 next scan is Wednesday then another one booked in for Friday. Just waiting to see if I get a phone call to tell me if I need to change stim dosage.

@pattaz2711 can you ring the clinic back and ask for bit more of an explanation? It will drive you nuts waiting a week. Xx

pattaz2711 · 06/07/2020 14:37

@BKB27 @Evey43 @Dbrook I've spoke to the nurses an she said it's going to be a tough week for me. Until the scan next Wednesday.. she said the gestation sac needs to be round mine obviously not as they said from the scan this morning I asked what could happen she said she doesn't want to say as everyone is different.. I said will it be ok she said she 💯 wouldn't like to say

Everhopeful35 · 06/07/2020 15:09

@pattaz2711 It's so awful that you just have to sit and wait. I've been there in the past and there's nothing worse. But I would say that you have an amazing HCG level that was doubling, so that's really encouraging. I've read online that irregular shaped gestational sacs can right themselves or just not prove as problematic as they first appear. Perhaps it's because you're so early that it's difficult to say anything for certain, until they see a heartbeat? I agree that Google isn't your friend, but perhaps if you start a separate Mumsnet thread about it, you might get some responses from people who have been through this and can put your mind at ease. Sending big hugs x

Evey43 · 06/07/2020 15:37

@pattaz2711 oh I am sorry, it’s awful waiting like that, expecting the worst. Easily said, but try to look after yourself. I really hope it goes well.

@BKB27 yes very quick and painless. She said it would be similar to a smear but honestly I think smears worse.

Xx

BabySweet85 · 06/07/2020 17:07

Hi all

@pattaz2711 sorry to hear you aren’t feeling good. The wait must be awful. Look after yourself this week. Will keep my fingers crossed everything is fine x

BKB27 · 06/07/2020 17:48

Sorry to hear that @pattaz2711 agree it may be good to get in touch on mumsnet with other people who have had a similar thing. Fingers crossed for you that it all works out and you don't spend the week in pain. Infertility is so unfair. I really hope it rights itself. Look after yourself and be kind to yourself x

pattaz2711 · 06/07/2020 17:50

@all thank you everyone going to be along week ahead..

Il leave you guys be thank you

elleceedee · 06/07/2020 17:56

@Pattaz2711 how worrying for you, I really hope it's just too early and everything's ok on the next scan. Please do keep posting here for support as well, we are here for you - I think @BKB27 and @Everhopeful35 just meant start a new thread just focusing on your issue so that if other women have had similar experiences they are more likely to see it and post their stories too.

OP posts:
BKB27 · 06/07/2020 18:23

Oh gosh yes that's definitely what I meant @elleceedee @pattaz2711 just for peace of mind - sometimes it helps speaking to people who have had been in a similar situation. We are all here for you no matter what x x

Everhopeful35 · 06/07/2020 18:31

Me too! Please stay with us and keep talking and updating us. Starting a new thread was meant as a suggestion so that people who have been through a similar thing can tell you their stories and provide support. I know that always helps me far more than the medical articles you find online. By the way, did your doc suggest a repeat HCG test? I just can't help but think that if your hormones are rising well, things should be progressing? But obviously I'm not a doctor...

HT2101 · 06/07/2020 18:35

@pattaz2711 let us ladies get you through this next week 👍🏻

@Mrbay how you doing? Xx
