Eek! Exciting @doomkittycleo. When have you been told to test?

doomkittycleo · 31/10/2019 18:21

@Marmite83 that’s awesome that you’re ready to have another go 🤞for this one.

OTD is 13th November.

Jesskir89 · 31/10/2019 19:31

Interesting article on sex and conception that I was just reading today for anyone who’s interested!
www.avawomen.com/avaworld/how-often-should-you-have-sex-to-get-pregnant/

I didn’t realise how important it is to have sex throughout the whole of the cycle!

Chichz · 31/10/2019 20:48

@Goingbacktocansascity That was the perfect length article to read whilst reheating my dinner in the microwave! Grin

CharlotteCx · 31/10/2019 21:30

@Goingbacktokansascity I've just read that too. Very interesting! ... will deffo be doing it every day in fertile window from next month if this month don't work now I've seen that 🤣

seven201 · 01/11/2019 06:56

@Goingbacktokansascity that is interesting. Looks like more sex for most of us tonight then Grin

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 01/11/2019 10:56

Hello, am I okay to join in? I've just started taking metformin to build up for a clomid cycle in a couple of weeks. It will be my second cycle and we've increased the dosage as I didn't ovulate on my last cycle.

I'm so nervous, I really want to be hopeful and positive but also I just darent allow myself to be.

seven201 · 01/11/2019 13:14

Welcome @ComeTheFuck0nBridget
I love your username!

It's really hard to stay ever be positive. Good luck for this cycle!

LaurenN23 · 01/11/2019 14:08

Well AF is fully here so I'm out this month! Gutted but really it was only our official first try in 2 years because I've never ovulated before. Feel apprehensive for next month, hoping that it wasn't a one off and I actually will ovulate again!

If I don't ovulate next month I think I will start clomid soon - it's sat in my cupboard at home staring at me!! Got my appt on 20th November to get things started. Hope everyone else is okay, thinking of you all x

Goingbacktokansascity · 01/11/2019 15:11

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget welcome, don’t be disheartened about not ovulating at the lower dose, took me to triple dose to have my one

@LaurenN23 eurgh that’s unfortunate but into bigger and better

Beth804 · 01/11/2019 19:12

Hi Gang - what do you make of these? I was all ready to go with cd15 for possible ov, but now it's got darker again??

Come on Clomid! Thread 2019 v3
Beth804 · 01/11/2019 19:14

Well not ovulation - peak LH surge, ov would have been cd 16/17 but you know what I mean xx

ComeTheFuck0nBridget · 01/11/2019 19:47

Thanks @seven201

I actually find that quite reassuring @Goingbacktokansascity in a weird way! Did you take metformin too?

I feel a bit better now, have had a very stressful day and been all over the place emotionally, I'm wondering if it could be down to the metformin? I'm just four days on it at the moment.

Goingbacktokansascity · 01/11/2019 20:00

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget I did take metformin too the month I got pregnant although the side effects were horrific for me so I’m not taking them this time around.

seven201 · 02/11/2019 06:41

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget I take metformin (no clomid now) and it's not made me emotional. Or maybe it has! I've been a bit of stress head lately and hadn't thought of the metformin until writing this reply. I might read the side effects list again. It took me a couple of weeks for the diarrhoea to calm down!

CharlotteCx · 02/11/2019 07:50

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget I have taken Metformin since last July and I'm in my second cycle of Clomid. Metformin didn't make me emotional - just made me feel absoloutley rotten (no energy, feeling sick)

CharlotteCx · 02/11/2019 07:51

@ComeTheFuck0nBridget but then my dr put me on the slow releasing Metformin last September and now I feel fine! Maybe try slow release?

Goingbacktokansascity · 02/11/2019 10:38

Not good news from me I’m afraid. No growth in follicles and the artificial hormones have caused a growth, hopefully just a polyp but can’t rule out malignancy until more tests are done. Will probably check out for this cycle and will update you all in a few weeks when I have the results

seven201 · 02/11/2019 11:27

Oh shit @Goingbacktokansascity that is rubbish sorry. Xx

CharlotteCx · 02/11/2019 12:34

@Goingbacktokansascity sorry to hear that x

Chichz · 02/11/2019 15:01

Sorry to hear that, @Goingbacktokansascity. I'm sure it is nothing sinister but let us know how you're getting on once you're ready. X
