Do both ovaries release eggs every month? I only thought it was the one and they swap sides every month.. and if you ovulate from both it's non identical twins? @Goingbacktokansascity

@CharlotteCx when you get to day 10 or so a dominant follicle will develop and the others regress (usually. Or else you have more than one dominant follicle and yes twins or triplets are a possibility), the ovaries don’t alternate every month it’s completely random hence why people with one Fallopian tube can still get pregnant fine usually. Clomid causes more than one follicle to develop compared to natural ovulation so higher chance of multiples! I imagine by my scan on Saturday I will have one follicle at about 16mm if I’m lucky 🤞🏽

Iv just got my static smiley. I'm only CD10! And only dtd last night won't be able to do it tonight coz OH is on call. Will be able to tomorrow night once I'm home from work. This cycle has not given me enough warning at all. 😳

@Goingbacktokansascity ahh okay! Well fingers crossed 🤞🏻 for you. I'll probably ovulate on CD12. That's a really short cycle isn't it!

My opks have started fading now so I think I'm going to take it that I'm 1dpo today (if I even ovulated! 🤷‍♀️) 🤞🤞🤞

@Beth804 we can't .. I'll be at work in the morning. Honestly just our luck lol. We can do it tomorrow evening and Friday evening, I think il ovulate Friday CD12 .. well that's what I'm hoping anyway as I'd of dtd 3 times in fertile window. My fertile window was meant to open this coming Friday! So so early 😳 I know sperm can last for 3-5 days so I'm safe but need to get it in tomorrow n Friday 🤞🏻

Did you get a positive opk yesterday? Was it as dark as the control line? Yes once it starts fading you probably would have ovulated. When's your cd21? X

@Beth804 I’d definitely see if you can get bloods 7 days from now with your GP, OPKs are rubbish if you have PCOS, as someone who did them religiously for 24 months and thought that I’d probably ovulated (and never did ) because it was almost as dark as the control line

@Goingbacktokansascity I think it depends from person to person with PCOS and OPKs as they have always been accurate for me

@CharlotteCx with PCOS they will be positive for you if you ovulate, they may also be almost positive the entire rest of the cycle because of a high baseline of LH even if you don’t

I still use them but they definitely shouldn’t be relied on especially without bloods to confirm ovulation in PCOS, this is coming from years of experience of anovulation but almost positive tests and high fertility smileys.

@Goingbacktokansascity my cheapie opks last month after my peak started to fade out into negatives. It was only my Cb opk that was flashing cos now I understand it's the dual hormone detector. Opks have worked for me, but not everyone. Temping doesn't work for me, I am completley useless with that.

@Goingbacktokansascity oh yeah I agree with you there, opks along with bloods is the way forward for me. I wouldn't rely on just opks without the bloods. But what I mean is, my opks have been positive and then my bloods will confirm that I did indeed ovulate so I find the opks were accurate at the time.

@seven201 @doomkittycleo just checking in and seeing how things are going? Have either of you started IVF now?

I don't actually have PCOS just hardly ever ovulate and have cycles anywhere from 40 -90+ days long! Unexplained 🤷‍♀️
I rang the docs today about bloods, they're going to get back to me apparently!

I'm ok. Had a bit of a wobble yesterday and just felt stressed about everything. Am generally ok about it though. I don't think we'd actually start a round until jan or feb. Just starting the process now so can get all the tests done etc.

@Beth804 good luck with getting a blood test. Keep pestering until they give in!
