August/september ivf/icsi treatment

everyone,
I've started a new thread for people starting treatment this month. I'm hoping to make some new friends with people who understand how hard this journey is. Hopefully we can have some fun whilst getting on with the treatment.
This is my first cycle of ivf/icsi so any treatment buddies please say hello.

Hi,
I had 2 FET today. We had our first successful round with our son 8 years ago. They were our last ones, so pretty terrified at the moment!

@Rachel3214 that's exciting, does that you transferred 2? I'm always tempted to put 2 back in.

@LillyLeaf yup, our last 2. Scary stuff! Lots of cramping and poops since I had it done at 1130. I really hope it isn’t a bad sign!

My first scan tonight I’m so nervous.... silly question but do they do the internal scan even though my period is still here. Seems like it would be very embarrassing 🙉

@Stacey2007, they may do, depends what the see on a normal ultrasound. I wouldn’t worry though, they’ve seen everything!
I’ve had one. As embarrassing as it was for me, she wasn’t phased at all! Good luck x

@Stacey2007 I've never had a normal scan with IVF, always internal, best prepare for that and yes I've had them while on my period.

@LillyLeaf I think it will be a internal scan, I’ve never been through ivf before so this is all new to me 🙉 do you start your other injection after your first scan if all seems okay? Iknow everyone can differ

Well it turns out Sundays false positive may not be false after all. Although saying that, cheap pink test came negative so I am still unsure what to think! First iui. Excuse mess in background, we are decorating!

I am very scared, I feel a cross between disbelief, and worrying it will all go wrong

I know my psg results are in but waiting for the call, I doubt i'll hear tonight now. How can they keep my waiting? I feel like I'm stood on a trap door and at some point it will open and I'll fall through.

Day 2 now and I’m getting a lot of cramps, and feeling pretty sick ☹️

So I don’t know if to be sad.. happy... worried, had my first internal scan today, he found a cyst... ( must be from the injections) because I never have any before. It’s made me so worried though has anyone else had this?

@Stacey2007 i wouldn't worry about it at all. they will tell you if it's worrying sometimes they do a blood test to check if it's functional ( ie if it's producing hormones). i had one this cycle and got myself all worked up and almost had a go at the nurse when she said need a blood test then if the hormones r up they would give me the pill for a month ( meaning delay a month!) i completely freaked out and i think i came across angry and rude! truth is i was so anxious and desperate to just get on with it- the blood test was fine and it worked fine xxx

please just take it with a pinch of salt - they just do things and have to tick boxes to justify things- ultimately they just want to get u pregnant xxx

Still not heard from the clinic, the Dr is busy. I know it's bad news now as I'm sure someone would have called me by now. My anxiety is through the roof. I've got a very important meeting today at work and I'm not coping at all.

oh @LillyLeaf don't say that... can you physically just go there and explain the situation to the receptionist and get an answer in person ..

I'm still lurking here, been waiting for our pgd / pgs results. They're tomorrow afternoon in person, we sent 6 embryos so hopeful there's something. Had been feeling pretty good but both of us are a bit mopey today
