Had all the tests and finally got the go-ahead today (a prescription and letter in the post!) So bit of a surprise. Will be starting on CD2 in about 4 days time hopefully.

Scared, excited, nervous.

I've phoned for my day 21 blood results and keep getting answer machine so frustrating just want my results I'm so impatient

AF has eventually shown up today. Kind of relieved to be honest after all of the uncertainty at the weekend.

This cycle has been so different, so I've learnt not to expect the same. So acupuncture booked and on to cycle 5, wonder what this month will bring!

@Debbie2901 oh no! Any luck yet?

@confused107 thank you. Sorry to hear of AF arrival. Our bodies are so cruel playing tricks like that. Is this your final cycle before ivf? I think AF is coming today I can feel it :(

Hi ladies!
I had thought my clomid journey was over but today I was lucky enough to get an extra 3 months prescribed. I previously have used clomid for 6 months @ 50mg and ovulated each cycle but no BFP. We have been given one final 3 month opportunity on clomid before beginning IVF in May.
This time i'm combining it with OvuSense to hopefully secure my timings. Does anyone else use OvuSense?

@debbie 2901 that’s frustrating. Have you heard anything yet? I was ringing from about 8am because I was so desperate to know. Even though I knew they didn’t open til 9

Hi @mol5. No Iv not used that before. Iv been tracking my BBT using a thermometer but I’m not sure how much I can tell from it since each month has a bit of a different pattern. But my cycles are regular (usually 28 days)
and my clear blue digital ovulation test gave my my positive static smile face on day 14. Are your cycles regular?

I think next month I won’t bother with the clear blue. I might carry on with doing my BBT. Obviously fingers crossed I’m pregnant this month but I’m so sick of getting my hopes up each month

My cycles without clomid are irregular 28 to 35 days.
But when I take clomid my cycles are strict regular 30 days with ovulation on day 17/18 for me every time, according to OPKS.
I just feel like, after 6 months on clomid I have DTD on my OPK positive date of ovulation every month and it hasn't worked...so maybe I'm missing something that OvuSense can find... clutches at straws

No nothing I even left a voicemail I'll ring again tomorrow and hope she was just off today, I feel really emotional tonight though maybe just because my af should be due at wkend

Hello good evening everyone been trying 18 months now just keep getting disappointed late periods .My husband keeps getting his hopes up and nothing going to start clomid 50g tonight second day of my period taking it nightly to skip out on the side effects.....I really how it works we have no kids we are getting old I am 28 and he is 27

@Debbie2901 me neither. although doesn't make a difference for me right now as bfn this morning on cd29. Don't know why I even bothered getting my hopes up and testing.

@Willowjasmine I can imagine how you feel it's so frustrating

I have tried again still answer machine I phoned the actual hospital where I had my bloods done and they said they find it really difficult to get hold of her secretary too, not very good if nobody can get through

I have finally got through and got the results not what I was hoping for my progesterone was 24 so doesn't look like I ovulated but they can't understand why as on my scan there was a big follical so just waiting for doctor to get back with a new prescription and maybe uping the dose. I feel so deflated as I was certain I ovulated as felt so different this time so the first time in ages, I guess just start again new cycle

@Debbie2901 so sorry to hear that :( hopefully cycle 2 is the one for us. I understand you feeling deflated especially when your body plays these tricks and you get your hopes up, it really sucks. What cd are you on now? I'm still waiting for my results.

@Willowjasmine I'm on cd 25, so frustrating no idea when I will start the next cycle the secretary said she will ring me with a new prescription but I'm guessing because I haven't ovulated I won't get a period? Has anyone else had this?

Has anyone else felt total exhaustion on clomid the last 2/3 days I've never felt so tired and drained I no I'm not pregnant as had my cd21 bloods and they showed I was below the expected level for ovulating just wondered if anyone else felt like this Im so tired I can't function

Been doing a bit of googling today for other things to try. Does anyone have an experience or opinions on Chinese herbal medicine

Doctor has just phoned and upped my dose to 100 clomid but I have to wait 2 wks to see if my period comes and if not do a test and retake the norethindrone to induce a period don't know if I can't do this for 6months 🙈

I'm on my first clomid cycle. Didn't feel any side effects early on except tenderness in abdomen on CD 6-8 (I took clomid day 3-7). I had ultrasounds to monitor body's response to clomid. The nurse confirmed that I ovulated on CD18. I have progesterone blood test this Friday and will know the result on Monday. But since after the ovulation, I have been feeling constant disturbance in my abdomen. I can't call it pain but it's almost constant and it is making me tired and irritable.

@debbie2901, I get you. Today is CD24 and I feel exhausted.

@Beenster that's good that you ovulated, I feel much better today I'm still tired but not as bad. I'm pleased the clomid has worked of sorts as my progesterone was 2 before I started and now progesterone has gone up to 24 and they were pleased I had a follicle which they said was quite big so I guess on with double strength cycle 2 and keep fingers crossed

So officially on CD1 Clomid cycle 2 after a 32 day cycle. I'm so confused. finally had my results through the post re bloods. The first one says my progesterone was low and requests me to attend for an AMH test. The second dated a week later says my progesterone shows I have ovulated and carry on as I am?!?! Not exactly black and white!

@Willowjasmine very confusing is there a number u can ring, I'm still waiting for my af now on cd29 and no signs of it coming so just wait it out I guess

@Debbie2901 there is but can't get through until Monday. I hope your af arrives soon so you can get on with the 100mg. Really hope it works for you. I really don't think I ovulated as I started spotting 3 days ago and that only happens when I haven't ovulated (from my experience) and when I have af just comes all at once. Hope I'm not wasting another month on 50mg that isn't working

@Willowjasmine so annoying isn't it I've got to wait for another wk and if it hasn't come then do a test hopefully it will come this wk

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone is suffering with weight gain or if it's just me !? I only had Clomid for one month as I was allergic. Since then I cannot loose weight, gaining weight etc. I am eating healthy no carbs, sugar restricted, I walk my dog a lot, I do exercise, I'm always up and about, just can't stop gaining weight and now I'm worrying about starting IVF as if my BMI keeps increasing they won't start it till it drops, just wondering if it's the Clomid, long shot!
