@Pyjamas81 good luck for the interview, I'm sure you'll smash it!!

passmethewine123 · 29/11/2017 08:36

Oh ignore me, you've had the interview! Good luck anyway 😂😁

Sorry for clogging up the thread!!

kwick · 29/11/2017 08:55

I have no idea where Charsworth is... 😔

Flash good news! Are they testing DH for DNA fragmentation?

Kathrino I do not as mine is a picture of a pack of cards Grin

Blimey what a day pyjamas!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 for an amazeballs job offer!!!!

Another FRER BFN this morning but have a glimmer of hope with pending blood test... in waiting room now.

HepKestrel · 29/11/2017 09:25

can i have a mini moan/derail?

OH has texted me at work to moan there are no clean bowls at home.

He could:
open the dishwasher which should have finished by now.
wash a bowl up
text me at work so i can magically twitch my nose

grrr...

Kathrino · 29/11/2017 09:28

Oooh pyjamas, good luck for job news today and hoping that work is a bit less mental.

Kwick, sorry for the BFN this morning. Crossing everything for a good blood test result.

Hep, what a ridiculous thing to text you about! Honestly!

HepKestrel · 29/11/2017 09:52

keeping everything crossed for you pyjamas and kwick

I am terrible at interviews....

I do however have to give a speech today at a work function...... Been so busy, that I have only just started to prepare for it ...... its this afternoon.

struggleisreal · 29/11/2017 13:01

Best of luck hep - makes your husband's text even worse 😂

polkadotpixie · 29/11/2017 13:08

Jamon - Thank you so much, that's really helpful! I have a bikini wax booked for this afternoon just in case of impromptu foof exposure tomorrow!** Blush

I will make a list of all my questions tonight and try to make sure I get some answers

geeup · 29/11/2017 13:13

I'm sorry it was a bfn @kwick I know that will be really really tough after all you've been through. Big hugs for you xx

OverinaFlash · 29/11/2017 13:18

polka living the dream, I've got one too! Although I don't think anyone's going to be looking at mine (except DH as FW has kicked off).

kwick I have things crossed I didn't even know I could cross. I really hope you're ok. Also it's just first round NHS test so I doubt it. Will happily

pyjamas I hope you hear today and it's good news!

Hep I'm sure you'll be great and I hope you came up with a suitably scathing reply to your OH's ridiculous text healthy relationship advice for everyone to follow

pass I found it weird too. And based on what I've heard about people being told their results are fine but they end up not being, when we go to get DH's results I want to see a printout of all of it.

Pyjamas81 · 29/11/2017 13:30

Sorry about BFN kwick 😞 Still holding out hope for tomorrow.

So....

They've made me an offer and matched what I asked for. I can't actually believe it. I feel so so sick!! Mainly because I think I might take it! I have until end of tomorrow to decide - so much to think about. I feel like I'm having an out of body experience.

struggleisreal · 29/11/2017 13:34

Ah pjs that is amazing news. I'm sure a new challenge will feel so nice, and will be great to have something else to think about other than IVF. And if the next round does work, you'll have a lovely job to come back to after maternity leave.

JeNeBaguetteRien · 29/11/2017 13:39

Flash does your surgery have the possibility to view results online? Mine does but it's not well publicised, but now that I've registered I can check results anytime (usually on there pretty quickly too, GP said they didn't have them yet but I'd already seen them).
If I were you I'd push to know the figure, say it's to put your mind at ease. Because they could be fobbing you off when further testing us needed. Or you could have a really good result, but you don't know it. It's your medical information after all.

Hep do you have a clean bowl in your office, you could send him a photo just to be annoying. Good luck with the speech.

Polka at first NHS appointment I was weighed and measured, had an internal, not a scan just a look and feel if things seemed normal, they took a swab for chlamydia test. Then lots of questions about how long trying and how my periods are, how long they last etc.
At the end I was referred for an HSG which I had on next period and was prescribed Clomid. Much further down the line now but that's how I remember first appointment.

Pyjamas81 · 29/11/2017 13:40

Thanks struggle - am almost shaking with fear, but there's excitement there as well. These were the pros and cons I pulled together a while ago - they still stand!

That's fantastic news PJ's! A leap in to the unknown is always scary, but who knows what doors this may open in your future. Take the leap! X

HepKestrel · 29/11/2017 13:47

congratulations pyjamas !
unfortunately not JeNe , but i like your style!

JeNeBaguetteRien · 29/11/2017 14:09

Congratulations Pyjamas, that's fabulous news.
I recognise that feeling of excitement tinged with terror! Have a good chat tonight with DH and good luck with your decision!

florafoxtrot · 29/11/2017 14:12

Congratulations PJs - that is such exciting news! And must be awesome to be thinking of something other than TTC for a while! Very well deserved and fantastic bargaining obviously! Well done!

Hep - the only response to that is "sorry... what?" or if you are Scottish "sorry....whit?"

Polka - my FC experiences were the same as the others. Nothing to worry about.

struggleisreal · 29/11/2017 14:22

Ah pjs I am intrigue where the job is as I work in the charity sector as well. Remember whatever you decide to be really proud of yourself, and crack open that champagne!

polka good luck tomorrow, I echo the others, nothing to worry about and just a chat through things including any results you have. We were then send away for more tests (HSG, a third sperm analysis, a scan and some more bloods). We were then back to see the consultant in about 2 months and it all went quite quickly after that.

geeup · 29/11/2017 14:31

Wow @Pyjamas81 that's amazing. I would say you'll never regret something you were brave enough to try, only the things you never did. But I do understand why is a hard decision and have stayed in my job for 5 years longer than planned as I didn't want to miss out on mat leave Hmm

OverinaFlash · 29/11/2017 14:36

gee me too!

Pyjamas that's fab news congratulations.

kwick · 29/11/2017 15:23

Thanks ladies for all the positive messages, unfortunately IVI have confirmed, by way of a blood test, a BFN. I am very disappointed & am going to see if I can leave work early as I just want to watch some TV and cry a bit.

florafoxtrot · 29/11/2017 15:33

Kwick - I am so so sorry for that. Flowers

Please leave work and be kind to yourself.

xx

HepKestrel · 29/11/2017 15:34

I am so sorry kwick

struggleisreal · 29/11/2017 15:36

Lots of love to you Kwick. You're an absolute hero and champion of positivity, I'm so sorry it wasn't a better outcome xxx
