Kwick Flowers Brew hugs

OverinaFlash · 29/11/2017 15:37

I'm so so sorry.

geeup · 29/11/2017 15:43

Defo get out there early @kwick and have a good old cry. Can someone come and give you a cuddle? How many days till the puppy joins your family? You're amazing and courageous and we're all proud of you. Im so sorry it didn't work. Fucking shit.

Kathrino · 29/11/2017 15:50

Oh Kwick, I'm so sorry for you. Definitely try and escape and do whatever you need to do. Sending lots of love your way.

And pyjamas, congratulations on the job offer. I'm obviously sad you'll be leaving us but it sounds like a great opportunity (and I can totally relate to some of your reasons for not staying...)

passmethewine123 · 29/11/2017 16:30

So so sorry @kwick, hope you have got people around you that you can lean on. Definitely agree with having a good old cry, you'll feel much better for it. Also a night of wine, cheese and chocolate! Xx

polkadotpixie · 29/11/2017 17:30

Oh Kwick, I'm so sorry to hear the blood test was a BFN Sad

Congratulations on the new job Pyjamas! I made a similar decision not to put my life on hold 'in case' I got pregnant. I start my new job on the 11th December Smile

Thank you so much everyone for the reassurance regarding my appointment. I'll let you all know tomorrow how I get on

Jamon · 29/11/2017 17:44

I find it totally bizarre and annoying they won't give you the actual number flash and if I were you I would insist! It's your data!

Kwick my darling I'm so so so so sorry it wasn't the one this time. Sending all the love and hugs xxxxx

Hep your DH gets a 🙄🙄🙄 from me. I like baguettes suggestion!

No worries polka jot your qs down if you can - it's easy to get overwhelmed in those appointments and forget stuff. Good luck! Also I have never had a wax ahead of a gynae appointment - they really do not require it.

Pyjamas that's amazing WELL DONE you are officially fabulous. Having met you I didn't expect anything else - I would hire you for anything! Eeeek what to do now??? --Take it

Shit kwick am so sorry; as lemon says, we're here. Am gutted for you, but know you'll come back strong - take all the time out you need from work and everything else; you come first. Take care xxx

QuietTime · 29/11/2017 19:35

PJs congrats - amazing! Also work in the third sector and curious about the role :) It's great to have some options even if it's hard to decide; well done you

Hopefulbunny · 29/11/2017 19:39

Hi Ladies,

Thank you for all you lovely messages.

Kwick sorry to hear about BFN hope you are okay.

Pyjamas that's excellent to hear about the job offer well done you!

So I'm not sure what to think I did another frer in the early hours this morning and it is fainter than Mondays but CB is still showing 1-2 weeks but then my Clear blue advance monitor is now saying I'm not when It showed a definite on Monday.
Do you think this means I might be having a miscarriage I have absolutely no idea and need some advice please!

passmethewine123 · 29/11/2017 19:53

Try not to worry Hopeful...sorry I know that is probably really shit advice. Was your most recent FRER with fmu? How many days are you now?

polkadotpixie · 29/11/2017 20:18

I've written these questions...do you think they're okay or too much?

• Can I have my AMH & antral follicle count checked?

• Will have an HSG as I’m concerned my tubes may be blocked?

• My 2nd CD21 Progesterone bloods were only 21.5...possibly not ovulating reliably/strongly?

• Is my FSH of 6.9 okay for my age?

• What reasons are there for my short & light but painful periods?

• My cycles vary from 25-32 days (generally 25-28). Is that a problem?

• Is my 11 day luteal phase a problem?

• Is my lack of EWCM a problem or indication of a hormone imbalance?

• I mainly ovulate from my left side. Is this normal? It’s also much more painful on that side

• Can you explain my husband’s SA results?

• Will I be prescribed Clomid?

• What is the timeline for treatment/what is the waiting list?

Jamon · 29/11/2017 20:33

They are all totally reasonable love. I hope the doctor appreciates that you've taken some time to think about this and gives you well thought and reasonable responses. Let us know how you get on

Hopeful I'm not sure hon, could it be more diluted urine if you've been drinking lots? Fingers crossed it's all fine x

Lemon god I love a gin and tonic. With grapefruit is my favourite at the mo!

AliceScarlett · 29/11/2017 21:12

Kwick I'm sorry to hear that. You're such a trooper, take as much time off as you need I reckon.

Pajamas well done on the job! Excellent news. When do you start?

Polka good questions. I need to think about writing mine for week after next.

Hopeful could be shitty tests, could be a chemical. I'd do a frer tomorrow. Do you have an early pregnancy unit near you?

Skip I'll DM you.

I'm currently lying on the floor on a towel with a syringe still....in place, to keep the jizz in. Too tired to DTD. AI TTC is so glamorous.Blush

Jamon · 29/11/2017 21:31

I love your honesty Alice and think a LOT of us can relate to being too tired and sick of DTD. Good luck with getting swimmers in place x

Pyjamas81 · 29/11/2017 23:59

I am so so sorry kwick 😢😢** I know there's nothing I can say to make you feel better, but please know you're not alone. Your strength and positivity have been truly amazing and I've got nothing but admiration for you. I'm truly gutted for you as well. As we know, it will feel raw for a while, but this too shall pass. Make sure you do whatever you need to take care of yourself and put your needs first. Big hugs to you my lovely xxx

Oh wow polka - hadn't realised you were in the same position. Excitement! How long had you been in your previous job? Those look like great questions as well.

Have DMd you Skip 😊

Oh the glamour of ttc Alice 😂

I'd go and get a blood test done if that's possible hopeful. Really hoping for you!

Would love to hear about third sector experiences - did either of you move from private sector?

So. Had a really emotional chat with DH tonight about the offer, lots of tears because of my fear of the unknown, but I've decided to take the job. My notice period is 3 months so would start in March and we're going to do one more IVF cycle if we get the all clear on DH's sperm dna frag test in Dec. Risky, I know, and I'm terrified. But, if it works we'll be over the moon and will just have to deal with it, if it doesn't then I'll have no other regrets and will be starting something exciting. I can't help but feel sad as it's truly the end of an era (nearly 10 years). Think I'm going to have a sleepless night tonight...

Pyjamas81 · 29/11/2017 23:59

Stupid bold!!!

polkadotpixie · 30/11/2017 07:29

Pyjamas - I've been there 5 years but it's become increasingly stressful and due to relocation of the business it now takes me an hour each way & combined with the stress & crappy pay, I'd just had enough! I'm nervous about starting a new job but I think it'll be for the best in the end 😊

Alice - Love the honesty 😂 I was seriously considering similar the other day as my husband was too ill for sex & I'd just got a positive OPK. I think we've all found ourselves doing things we would've considered insane before finding ourselves on the LTTTC/infertility train!

passmethewine123 · 30/11/2017 07:55

Fantastic news PJ's! Can totally understand your anxieties but sounds like the right decision for you, if you never try you'll never know 💫

@AliceScarlett love it 😂 that is me every freaking month, it's not glamorous is it!!

passmethewine123 · 30/11/2017 07:56

I had run out of the little syringes last month so bought some more on amazon. Clearly didn't read the listing properly as I thought I was getting a small box of about 10, nope 300 turned up 😂😂😂 that'll keep us going for about 3 years haha
