Basset - if it helps, it took me an absolute age to come round to the idea of IVF. I’m still nervous about it but my need for a child is now out-weighing any fears I had before. Is it your initial IVF appointment in January then?

Flora - IUI seems cheaper than IVF but I’m not sure it’s appropriate for me. I might ask the consultant in January because I’d like to know my options if it turns out I’m not eligible for IVF anymore.

Lemon - I second what Gee said, do not put your life on hold. If I’d had known how long this would take me, the last two years would have been very different and probably more enjoyable! I’ve been through fad diets, various supplements (some which have done me more harm than good), postponed my wedding, declined invitations to parties because of alcohol....it’s a slippery slope and not worth it TBH.

Kerry - I’ve ALWAYS wanted to go to Milan, what a great idea. The Flying Spaghetti Monster will look after you on your travels!!😊

Jam yes I'm feeling so much better, it might sound stupid, but I think a big chunk of it was pms, I woke up the morning my period arrived and felt like a totally different person. I'd forgotten what it was like to have pms like that.

Kerry Milan sounds fab, I hope you have an amazing time. As I'm now not going to Vietnam (DH was planning to come out too and we would have gone on holiday after work), we are thinking of finally taking our two/three week long Italy tour. We want to pick two or three distinct regions and experience the food, wine, landscape etc of each place.

Lemon I think if you feel the this diet will help you to lose the weight and feel healthier/better for your appointment then I'd go for it, you know if you fall pregnant naturally you just stop taking the supplements and it should all be totally fine.

skipper sorry to be a total sieve brain, but what are your next steps?

Hep I hope you made good use of the positive OPK. How are things for you at the moment? Got any plans coming up fertility related or otherwise?

polka good to here you've enjoyed the reflexology. I did have acupuncture, it made a small difference to my cycle but in the end I didn't feel it was really having any significant effect (still had lots of spotting, short LP etc).

I'm waiting impatiently for the results of my Friday blood test and DH's SA, should have them by tomorrow and then can go to the doc's!

I'm still lurking but hopeless at keeping up! Hep I am too a lazy folic acid taker, have it when I can remember.

So I had another post op appointment and saw my consultant who said they need to check macroprolactin levels because my prolactin levels are still high mocroprolactin is inactive so doesn't matter apparently but they have to work it out separately and if the prolactin is still high I would need referral to endocrinologist and might have to go on medication to reduce levels because it can impact on fertility.
So I'm still waiting for the blood test results to see if I will need a referral. In the mean while AF was almost 3 days late ( have been 27 days recently to the book! ) so thought I would test in the early hours of the morning because I got my self worried I was going through the menopause and would you believe it I got a bfp!!!!!

Very much in shock! Its so early days so taking it easy.
Would love to stay on thread if that's okay because you are all so supportive.

Flash - I have an initial IVF appointment in the new year but it was discussed after the laparoscopy that I might not be eligible because of how complicated the endo is. I’m sure they said that part of one ovary was clear so I’m hoping they can at least extract eggs from that one?

Had the acupuncture tonight ladies. Wouldn't say I felt overly relaxed while having it done-it's not sore at all. She did put one in my wrist which was like a lightening bolt going through my hand! It felt weird! Like a really strong electric shock.
On the tube home I felt so zen, like a rush of calm(normally my anxiety is sky high on the tube). My body also feels light, can't really explain fully its a strange one.
Back next week, she's also working on my IBS which if it works for that will be a god send in itself.

I really dislike it plane when you get that jangly feeling especially when they put the needles in your feet. And this is why I no longer have acupuncture.... 😬

Ah had my scan this morning to check stims - saw a nice male doctor who did my HSG all those months ago. He said lining is good "triple layered" which in my mind is like quilted luxury andrex, then counted follicles and lengths out loud - there seemed to be plenty and he seemed pleased. Told me to carry on injecting and scan again Friday. Egg collection likely Monday 👍🏼

I'm CD7 today and had a weird massive bit of ewcm!! WEIRD!! It was kinda tinged with blood but I think I remember having this the last couple of cycles a few days after AF.

Kerry, id say before you ovulate would be good but honestly the acupuncturists will adapt the treatment either way. I have it before and after I ovulate. Enjoy Milano Bella!!!

pugmum I definitely didn't feel hormonal on the stims - a bit of a sore lower back after 6 days and then some bloating and twinges. When is your next scan?

Totally agree with you all about not putting life on hold - I have spent so long worrying about everything, sniping at husband about heated seats / booze / not taking vitamins, I have given up all alcohol and drunk shitloads of milk / beetroot juice and still only got 2 fertilised eggs.

Feeling quite dark about the whole thing today - like of course it's not going to work, I'm going to be so gutted...I am totally seesawing between hope and dispair. And I am only 3 days post 3 days transfer....only another 11 days to go until test day....

Quiet - I did go to yoga and I felt particularly lethargic during it. I think it’s because I have iron deficiency during AF so everything feels like too much hard work. Aching badly now and that hasn’t happened for months after class.

Had my progesterone blood test today as typically Sunday was 7dpo. Should have results by Friday, chart shows I've O'd though. I'm not being half as brave and proactive as you girls. I'm a wimp and still clinging onto hope of a sticky bean which I know is stupid.

CD3 blood results were - FSH 4.7 and LH 2.1. Dr said it was normal.

Firstly, thank you all for your lovely comments on the previous thread. They warmed my heart❤️ I'm sorry for getting overwhelmed and doing a runner. I was referred to ENT last week as my ear is unfortunately buggered.

I love and relate to what Gee said so much - we've all been through so much together, I genuinely care about you all like real friends! Hope all those with dh drama have kissed and made up now.
