Me personally? Well I live in Bristol, we do have anti migrant marches here. I am too old to get involved in anti marches myself but I definitely support them. In a leafy village I expect I would just keep my head down unless someone specifically asked for an opinion.

96% have signed a version of a way to say no. In leafy Lib Dem Piddington. I wonder how many mners who are apparently aghast at those who say no would do the same.

Just a thought... wealthy areas and country villages don't usually have blocks of social housing so where would they be accommodated? It is different in cities due to rooms available in hostels and hotels.

I dont think its racist to be concerned about large numbers of young men suddenly being put into temporary accomadation in tiny villages whilst their aslym claims are being investigated. The issue is more that we dont have the money, infratructure, and culture- and being a capitalist country, not keen to be even more strapped ourselves and less opportunities ourselves, our children etc. Are extra police being drafted in to help?

Its thousands of people. Then if they are accepted, its more families being accepted, many non working people having to learn a new language, new culture, new social norms.

How long does this process take, who is paying for it, and why arent all the countries suffering from mass illegal arrivals putting pressure on the home country to put a stop to it?

They could write to their MP asking for accommodation nearby them. More effective and I’m sure politicians would be happy to hear who is keen.
