Andy Burnham just doesn't get it does he, we don't want anymore migrants/illegals put anywhere not in rich or poor areas we want to stop them coming here full stop.

omfg. another one. there were 3 rapes (women raped) on Brighton beach the last 2 weeks by not British born men, apparently. This is too fcking much. WHAT IS OUR GVT DOING TO STOP IT.

Maybe stick with “some” rather than “most”.
These health conditions would be treated at a specialist clinic, for example a sexual health clinic, rather than a GP, just as they would be for any of the 400 residents diagnosed with any of them.

Yes, I am fully aware of the diagnostic pathways for all of these diseases and many other communicable diseases. And you're right; 'some' would not have evoked such an odd reaction from some posters thinking I was against the NHS treating these men, some of whom have very expensive to treat diseases.

But they are allowed to enter the country freely so why wouldn't they? It is only because we have stopped non-Ukrainian AS legally entering the country that we have had a problem with boat arrivals.

What do you mean by "freely"? The European Union implemented visa-free entry under its Temporary Protection Directive for Ukrainians in 2022 - whereas the UK required Ukrainians to obtain a pre-entry visa/entry clearance first.

I'm on Bsky, read the Guardian, subscribe to the Times, read the Telegraph if I see something interesting, watch BBC news and listen to The Today Programme but also 5 Live and sometimes Any Questions, read the odd article in the Mail or the Mirror, ditto The Spectator.
I suppose I'm still brainwashed by living somewhere we welcome asylum seekers.
