Andy Burnham just doesn't get it does he, we don't want anymore migrants/illegals put anywhere not in rich or poor areas we want to stop them coming here full stop.

There's a Men's Shed mental health organisation that advertises in our local supermarket (not refugee specific) and I'm in a knitting group that isn't women only but I've only seen one or two men ever. I'll let you know if any men come to the sewing group.

Well, isn’t that interesting, even though this is just kicking the can further down the road, it’ll be amazing to see how those in the very insulated areas of society, who seem the most welcoming and do not have to live amongst refugees, will have first hand experience of how wonderful they truly are.

It so happens they are at this point in time from countries made up of brown people. If thousands of Australian or French men descended and caused the same chaos I'd not want any of them coming in either.
I'm mixed race, a number of my family members are immigrants.
Caribbean immigration- invited over to rebuild after the war.
Indian immigration- by and large, have businesses that provide services and tax, produce a large number of doctors, pharmacists, etc that are net contributors.
Eastern European immigration- people fleeing a war (e.g. Bosnia), lots of them are providing a service through the building trade.
All the Australians I have come across work and pay rent and tax.

We’ve been told about the financial benefits of immigration since forever. Weirdly enough, 20 years on of gaining an extra million population a year from immigration, most of Britain feels poorer and we’re in an acknowledged cost of living crisis.
