The chat appears to have gone quiet today after the last thread filled up, so I'm making a new one for anyone who wants to come together whilst we all hold our breath hoping for a good outcome.

Something is bugging me. If Nicola had a Teams meeting at 9 and Paul didn't start work until 10 (as he said in his interview) why didn't he take the girls to school that morning?

pigsinoodies · 12/02/2023 11:46

dawngreen · 12/02/2023 11:44

Witness 1 was the lady with the pram

Witness 2 in the top field with husband. In the last report it said they found the phone, and that she is the caravan owner.

Caravan Park Lady isn't the witness in the top field.

Are you doing this on purpose?

I've not read all of this thread but has anyone read this article? www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/nicola-bulley-roger-jones-river-26203602

I appreciate it was 45yrs ago and technology has marched on since then but still food for thought.

dawngreen · 12/02/2023 11:47

Typical I am expected to scroll back through links! but others just blah noo

Kerfuffler · 12/02/2023 11:48

Very interesting point, especially as I’ve read that they took turns with drop off.

Yet you read the link from her website that says she has free range birds. Four months ago is not recent, plus housing restrictions of poultry have been in place since 2021. I had a letter to my house to inform me of this March 2021 and I don't hold domestic poultry.

This area was one of the first places to have to lock down birds too as bird flu has been rife since 2021.
I don't have birds so not sure of dates and things but I think Wyre has been in the 'control zone' for quite a while.

It's been covered many times
The river was in flood that day and the weir didn't exist.

Not necessarily. housing can mean netted or fenced in according to the article, it’s not clear, in one paragraph it says keep indoors, in the next it says netted or fenced in. So if it’s the latter a dog could easily be bothering the chickens.

Good point
I know nothing of chickens

Shewasnthere · 12/02/2023 11:53

Have I missed something? Why is live stock apart of this now?

Mediums and psychics are charlatans. There is no such thing.
I've reported your post.

Shewasnthere · 12/02/2023 11:55

Is it being implied that Nicola may have come to harm because her dog has been bothering some chickens? I'm so confused at this point

Just some conspiracy theorist people on twitter.
There is no evidence to say willow had been bothering chickens or the chicken owner did anything.

MaMisled · 12/02/2023 10:45

Myself and 2 DDs carry them but I've added a can of Impulse to my armoury! Apparently a squirt of something in the face is a good deterrent.

A friend carries a can of 'Deep Heat' - obviously she 'needs' it for a sore hip!

Bluekerfuffle · 12/02/2023 11:57

Why would anyone think her partner had a black eye? It’s clearly normal shadow.

Daft speculation.

One poster thought she'd been kicked by a cow and is obsessed with the caravan park, spouting incorrect information as fact.

I think they're doing it on purpose.

It was probably her turn then.

Now that is such a good idea. I'll do the same when I'm on my running trails.

Incase I need it for my achey legs, of course.

Owlyhedgehog · 12/02/2023 12:00

Anyone seen the news this morning. 2 men acting suspicious.....

Maybe she liked going for a walk when on her team meetings. If they are anything like mine all I do is listen in

Oaktree55 · 12/02/2023 12:07

If we’re into the realms of two random men carrying out an attack and kidnap then we may as well consider alien abduction. I can’t think of any cases over the years where random psychopathic men have acted in pairs in broad daylight at 9am in a pretty well frequented dog walking area too.

Perhaps the school was on the way to where she went for a dog walk. I’ve often done Teams meetings whilst on a dog walk particularly if it’s just a listen in call. Chance to multi task with work, exercise and a dog walk

There's no evidence that they are random men and as of now, the police haven't issued a statement confirming that they have been traced and ruled out of the investigation.
