The chat appears to have gone quiet today after the last thread filled up, so I'm making a new one for anyone who wants to come together whilst we all hold our breath hoping for a good outcome.

Come on the law has only recently changed because of that reason. I am just repeating what it says on her site ok!!

RainbowRoses2 · 12/02/2023 11:20

Who thinks that, there should be photographs circulated of the people she has spent time with in the last 2 months? Someone might not recognise Nichola, but they could recognise the individual who she was with. Then they could link them to an event that happened - perhaps some confrontation in a shop one day/Road rage incident that didn't directly involve Nichola but the person she was with. Her daughters could have been told off by a stranger, for example and someone who was a bystander to the scene may not recognise Nichola, but may recognise others involved and have information that is the key to this. If Nichola has been guilty by association with someone else, she could have been falsely targeted.

It hasn't recently changed it's been extended since November 2022. If you care to read the link again.

By law orders you should not be saying you have free range poultry on your website and update it.

Absolutely not. Every one of those people would then come under intense public scrutiny.

RainbowRoses2 · 12/02/2023 11:23

True. That's probably why they don't do it.

So public photos of all her friends, relatives, workmates, people who regularly served her in shops.....
Can't see any potential issues with that.

Agreed. That would be insane.

MucozadeOnLucozade · 12/02/2023 11:29

If people are going to comment on this case, please at least spell her name right, it's Nicola, NOT NicHola!!!!

dawngreen · 12/02/2023 11:30

I assume she would have the notice at the park about the change because of bird flu. I still class that as recent and I don't need to read the link.

MaMisled · 12/02/2023 11:35

Why did the police put out a photo and appeal for the red coat lady to come forward when she was the person who drew peoples attention to the phone and coat in the first place? I believe she is the key element but I'm sure the police have a much better account from her than has been made public.

What's this?
Is she a witness? I thought she didn't see her?

Celinia · 12/02/2023 11:39

I keep going back to earlier reports of the phone being found on the floor. Some reports said a male dog Walker had found her phone and put it on the bench. If this is true why would Nicola have left it on the ground? The area looked muddy around the bench which is no place for a smartphone.

Because they wanted to make sure they'd spoken to red coat lady?

Yet you read the link from her website that says she has free range birds. Four months ago is not recent, plus housing restrictions of poultry have been in place since 2021. I had a letter to my house to inform me of this March 2021 and I don't hold domestic poultry.

I thought the cctv still of the lady in the red coat with little white dog was caravan park owner and lady in yellow coat with pushchair DIDN'T see her???

It's all too confusing!

I'm sure the police will find that very helpful. Have you told them?

I don't think it's ever been suggested that Red Coat Lady is Caravan Park Lady. They wouldn't have been circulating RCL's picture if they were the same person.

ofwarren · 12/02/2023 11:13

Now this is a really good point that I'd not thought of.
I've seen a few people saying 'maybe willow was bothering her chickens' but she couldn't have, for this reason.

Not necessarily. housing can mean netted or fenced in according to the article, it’s not clear, in one paragraph it says keep indoors, in the next it says netted or fenced in. So if it’s the latter a dog could easily be bothering the chickens.

dawngreen · 12/02/2023 11:44

Witness 1 was the lady with the pram

Witness 2 in the top field with husband. In the last report it said they found the phone, and that she is the caravan owner.
