The chat appears to have gone quiet today after the last thread filled up, so I'm making a new one for anyone who wants to come together whilst we all hold our breath hoping for a good outcome.

NEW TWIST Two ‘suspicious’ men spotted by witness near missing Nicola Bulley’s dog-walking route – as police are handed new CCTV

The garage they are taking the cctv is facing the Allotment Lane entrance to the park.

It says she was pronounced dead at the scene @pigsinoodies. A woman in her 20s Sad

MotherOfRatios · 11/02/2023 22:11

I find this case odd and as a woman it is scary I don't believe she went in the river.

But in this day and age most people have an Apple Watch or similar device, did she have something similar they could track?

Shewasnthere · 11/02/2023 22:12

@Schnittlauch the difference being we haven't got missing and our family been pushed into the public eye. Of course we can choose what we want online because we are in control. Unfortunately they are not and once the police/family put it out to the public there will always be conversation/speculation good and bad. Always has been, its just more known now, which is also a good and a bad thing. You have the right to report the thread but it won't stop this happening it's everywhere. Once you are in the public eye Unfortunately you can't choose what people say and think

Sally090807 · 11/02/2023 22:13

Why didn’t the woman who found the phone and lead not answer it when the partner called NB to see where she was?

Have you read literally nothing about the case?

I've read a lot but nothing mentions this that I've read.

She had to leave in a rush to get to an appointment.

Because she didn't stay at the bench for an hour staring at the phone in case it rang! She left to go to an appointment.

Honesty some of these questions are beyond common sense.

She was wearing a fitbit

The fact they are only just asking for this says it all to me and shows why it’s important we keep talking about it. If I’ve learnt anything from this it’s that missing person cases are not always fully investigated. If you can commit a crime and leave no evidence you’ve basically gotten away with it.

I don't, and I don't know that many people who do, maybe half the people I know. But anyway, she had a Fitbit which they've tried to get data from but not been able to, or it wasn't up to date or something like that.

Scutterbug · 11/02/2023 22:20

The Fitbit had not been synced recently I believe.

melonraspberry · 11/02/2023 22:21

I was just reading (prompted by twitter ) about another missing woman in Ireland, from 18 years ago. They now presume murdered but nothing ever found. It was made a criminal investigation after 4 days. Why not this one?

are they still searching the sea ?

PARK DEATH Woman found dead from serious injuries in Culcheth Linear Park in Warrington as police launch urgent appeal

It's your typical Saturday afternoon dog-walk place. Nice area. People along the path every 5 or 10 minutes on a damp Saturday afternoon at this time of year.
