The chat appears to have gone quiet today after the last thread filled up, so I'm making a new one for anyone who wants to come together whilst we all hold our breath hoping for a good outcome.

She would only have been able to tie her up by putting the had around the bench and through itself and that may not have left enough lead left.

That would be a very short lead to not be able to secure Willow to the bench though, it's not like this is how you're expecting to leave a dog at home and be able to move etc this is just an emergency situation where you need to secure the dog.

People go missing in the UK every 90 seconds, why is this the only time people care?

It isn’t.

Minimising how women feel about other women going missing when it mostly ends with a horrific result is just boring.

dawngreen · 11/02/2023 21:51

If you can make the lead into a longer lead you can @Stopdropnroll @HotCroissant

PARK DEATH Woman found dead from serious injuries in Culcheth Linear Park in Warrington as police launch urgent appeal

scottishclive · 11/02/2023 21:53

The earlier post on the vague memory of the one that found the dog. Either it's 100 percent critical and a big conspiracy (very unlikely) or totAlly insignificant (a lot more likely).

Life is not Sherlock with tiny clues unraveling to show master conspiracies.

It’s not remotely suspicious at all. When something like this happens people want to do something to help and that includes offering money for support. There’s all sorts of things that will probably need taking care of or paying for. And not everybody will continue getting paid while they can’t work. It’s not like go fund me’s are a rare way of allowing people to sort that out these days. People have them for all sorts of stuff.

Not photoshopped. Could be someone trying to stir trouble.

What a coincidence there just happened to be a red van (of all colours) outside whilst the interview was in progress.

melonraspberry · 11/02/2023 21:38

I was just reading on websleuths that the interview was done at a hotel that Emma White owns. Not saying that for any significance except it shows how integral she is to this.

They are clearly friends and she's gone yeah sure use my hotel so the kids don't get disturbed

Forfrigz · 11/02/2023 21:57

That poor family, I hope they get answers soon.

That's on a regular walk of mine. I saw the ambulances and the police cars today. I'd read someone had died but assumed it was an accident.

Because it doesn’t ring true.

String that was already on her collar? That's odd in itself! In no way am I accusing the lady who found Willow and the phone but certain events just don't add up to me. I wonder if we are being given the whole truth....

The statements just say string on the collar. Not string that was already on the collar

You could tie with lead - you put it round a leg of the bench and then the long end through the handle look, then use the clip to attach to collar

MaMisled · 11/02/2023 22:00

She probably had string in her pocket x lengthened the lead giving Willow more loose line to move comfortably as she needed to leave her. I carry paracord to give my dogs a little more freedom if i need them on lead when I sit down for a bit.

MaMisled · 11/02/2023 22:01

Read the thread!!! The red van was the TV crew!!!!

Thing that worries me most (for the family and friends) is that they NEVER find out what happened to her. The chance of her being alive is so incredibly slim.

That is what happened to a family member of o someone I know. The person used to have a set daily walking routine. One day they set out as usual and never came home.

No sign of them was ever found, despite extensive searches, doorto door calls and local (and wider) appeals.
That was about 8 or 9 years ago. I believe they have now officially been declared dead. However the family realistically have no closure, and no 'proper' grave to visit.

Sorry for vagueness but I don't want to go into tons of detail in case the person I know is on this site

houselikeashed · 11/02/2023 22:02

PP mention a documentary on last night.
What channel was it on? I'd like to watch it.

dawngreen · 11/02/2023 22:02

The woman said it was already attached to the collar in a news thing@Stopdropnroll

The local paper still just says 'injuries'. I assumed somebody had fallen down the bank - it's an old railway cutting with steep sides and narrow paths at the top.
