Just been reading about this. How awful for her partner and children. Really hope she is found soon

I saw this on the news earlier. I don't understand how this is the first we're hearing of it when she went missing on Friday. Her poor family.

Willynuts · 30/01/2023 21:31

When they police say they don't believe it's a "crime" enquiry, what do they mean?

Do they mean they think she's gone missing intentionally or run away?

MyOldCaravan · 30/01/2023 21:31

Yes you'd think it would be much prominent.

It’s not the first I’ve heard.

Greenraincoat12 · 30/01/2023 21:34

First I've heard of it. I hope she's found safe and well.

NormaTheWife · 30/01/2023 21:34

I have a bad feeling about this.

I think they mean they don't think someone has done something to her.

bluemooooon · 30/01/2023 21:35

They found her dog though, wouldn't the dog have followed her if she intentionally disappeared ?

It's been all over the local news since Friday morning, I think it's only just gone National because nothing has been found. They've released more information today about her phone and I think that's how it's been picked up and reported on.

Lizzy1328 · 30/01/2023 21:38

I live close by, it's been alll over socia media, police and locals posting.

hattie43 · 30/01/2023 21:38

Sadly I don't see a happy ending here . I read her phone was left on a conference call , surely leaving voluntarily she would have ended the call.

AnotherDayAnotherDoleur · 30/01/2023 21:39

Local to this case.
That point of the river is tidal, unfortunately if she has ended up in there it's likely she would have been taken out to sea. The police seem very keen to stress that this is not currently a criminal investigation 🤷🏻‍♀️ it's a very small community, absolutely awful for everyone.

AuroraForever · 30/01/2023 21:41

One article said she was on a conference call? If that’s right wouldn't someone have heard something? Or the fact that the phone and dog lead and harness were on the bench, maybe the dog had gone in the water and got stuck/trapped and she went in to free him. Thereby freeing the dog but getting stuck herself. Is that possible?

pawprintseverywhere · 30/01/2023 21:42

Not far from me
Cannot stop thinking about her

SummerWinds · 30/01/2023 21:47

I think the dog got into trouble regarding the river and she tried helping him, her belongings were found on a nearby bench, and dog was found close by, he hadn't gone back home, she took there everyday by sound of it.

I'm not too sure as the dog was dry upon been found according to reports from a friend.

I’m a mod on a community page, and in our case (not this one) the essential people knew but the family asked for complete privacy.

there was enough people and resources to do the job at hand.

Very troubling. Mother of 2 young daughters x

ign0re · 30/01/2023 22:08

Keep checking on this for an update although given all the information it sounds unlikely for a happy ending.
Poor family!

ArtVandalay · 30/01/2023 23:28

So worrying. I didn’t know that detail about the river etc.

PaniniHead · 30/01/2023 23:31

Local to me too. I hope she is found either way. Her poor family

Amybelle88 · 30/01/2023 23:36

Awful!! Hope she's found safe ❤️

No third party. She’s either had an accident, or intended to do what she did.

MsNamesake · 30/01/2023 23:39

I'm local too and know close friends of hers. It's so upsetting, I hope she is found safe somehow.

Solow12 · 30/01/2023 23:42

Can’t stop thinking about this either. Poor family 😓
