Greece rape case - dad suspected

The daughter is adamant it wasn’t her dad and I’m inclined to believe her, but so many things are odd:

• The CCTV is awful to watch - her dad is acting oddly.
• why isn’t the DNA test back yet
• why hasn’t she done a pregnancy test
• who leaves 4 kids at home to go clubbing with their dad in Malia.

What a bizarre case. Is her dad rubbing his face in her breasts in that video?! I couldn't work it out The whole thing is v odd.

Im afraid Ive worked with enough grown women who became pregnant by their fathers or other male relatives and who maintained what they thought/think was a 'relationship' with them to believe the police

Very uncomfortable. Are the DNA tests on her children to see if he is the father? I didnt read the article to be honest.

I think the DNA are swabs are from her post assault to try & identify the perpetrator.

The whole thing is weird. I mean police can sometimes fuck up investigations and without the CCTV one would assume that was the case. Weird they’ve not had any DNA results yet. But that clip is v uncomfortable viewing, sickening actually. I hope this lady is getting more support.

That video is awful. It looks very much like a very drunk women is trying to get away from a man who is sexually assaulting her while people look on.

Jesus, that clip! Initially I thought she was falling out the chair / trying to get up and couldn't stand and he was using his body to passively keep her in the chair. But my god, what the hell was he doing?! If it's half as bad as it looks I'm not surprised she shoved him over, or that the police are looking very hard at him indeed.

They could well be subject to social services involvement already,, I didnt read the article, do the children live with her or their 'fathers' or are they in care?

I came on here earlier to find a thread on this and considered starting it.

That CCTV has me really on edge. Is his hand up her skirt or is it something innocent.

Is she really going to stay away from her 4 children to stay near her dad. Up to 18 months?

Why is that bar worker watching and doing nothing? At very least she's watching an assault regardless of the assailant

Hopefully someone from the bar will be able to give a statement to the police of what is actually happening there.

To me, it screams a girl who doesn't want to believe her dad would do this to her. I really hope I'm wrong but I'm concerned. The picture of them looks like a couple on holiday, but maybe I'm projecting as I wouldn't feel comfortable like that with family members due to my boundaries.

I want to think better of this situation and think the dad was pressed against her so long because of trying to get his own balance to lift her, but also the way he puts his arm on her back at the end makes me uncomfortable too. Again, possibly my own boundary issues.

I think it's hard to tell what's going on, it looks like he could be off his face too, trying to get her to stand up any way he can to get her home perhaps and falling all over her/the place. I don't think the Greek police should be just assuming he is one that raped her based on them both being off their faces, why aren't they listening to her she obviously had some awareness even if she was shit faced? So much easier for them not to bother investigating it properly. Malia is a shit hole though full of drunken Brits behaving disgustingly.

That CCTV is gross! I thought there was something weird about their relationship right from the start, when she posted a pre-holiday TikTok showing them holding hands on the bus on the way to the airport. Strange that she would choose to waive her anonymity.

The article says she lives with her dad, they went on holiday for her birthday and due back 11th June but she’s still there waiting for him?! Her poor kids, what an awful situation

What's her TikTok name please? I hope he fell into her chest and couldn't get his balance but his arm certainly looks near her crotch.
