I think anyone who voted Labour in the last election is complicit in murder

Because you knew Tony Blair lied and lied and lied to get us into that war, and now children are being killed every day, and bodies are piling up in the streets. I think he is the most vile, wicked and contemptible man in Britain. How can he sleep at night? I feel so ashamed he is our prime minister.

Who did you vote for in the last election Aloha?

Aloha · 13/04/2007 21:19

Tony Blair is undoubtedly a mass murderer. Absolutely. Why would anyone vote for a mass murderer, not matter how nice and middle-class he seemed?

southeastastra · 13/04/2007 21:20

yes blame the US they seem to specialise in f*cking up the word for us all. you only have to look at vietnam

southeastastra · 13/04/2007 21:20

world

BarefootDancer · 13/04/2007 21:20

I think the Green party also opposed the war, as did Respect

Heathcliffscathy · 13/04/2007 21:20

aloha. i have only read the thread title and your op.

i entirely and completely agree with you.

there was absolutely no excuse.

bozza · 13/04/2007 21:20

Aloha if one of us had a labour rebel as our mp would that be ok to vote for?

Aloha · 13/04/2007 21:21

A moral leader would not have climbed up GW's colon in order to earn himself megabucks when he has finished murdering people.

The Americans were beyong despicable in Vietnam, as much when they pulled out as when they went in

Single Issue politics is wrong though.
It denies the interests of everyne but a small interest group, and thats not a goosd thing at all.

Plus no-one outside his constituency voted for Bliar (and yes i know how I spelled that). They voted for individuals in many, many cases very respectable. You dont vote for a PM, just the MP.

Mercy · 13/04/2007 21:21

jeez, I'm miles behind!

Lib dems are fine on a local level but have credible power nationally (imo) I don't know why tbh.

PeachyChocolateEClair · 13/04/2007 21:21

Our Mp was a Labour rebel

Cant stick the bloke personally

But he was anti-Iraq

VeniVidiVickiQV · 13/04/2007 21:21

I voted for an alcoholic. Of course, I didnt know he was at the time, but, hindsight is a wonderful thing, isnt it?

chocolateface · 13/04/2007 21:22

Can you please advise us who to vote for then Aloha?

southeastastra · 13/04/2007 21:23

god my mp was cecil parkinson! and i met him once

expatinscotland · 13/04/2007 21:23

I did NOT vote for Bush. Either time.

Or ever.

ANY Bush.

Aloha · 13/04/2007 21:23

You don't vote for an MP! YOu know that they will toady to their party. And you did not need hindsight to know Tony Blair was a liar BEFORE the last election. Everyone knew, but some people voted for him knowing he was a liar intent on murder.

OP posts:
bozza · 13/04/2007 21:23

Oh peachy I meant specifically a rebel wrt the Iraq war.

Aloha · 13/04/2007 21:23

Don't vote for a mass murderer. Simple.

OP posts:
Heathcliffscathy · 13/04/2007 21:24

mercy international law decides whether wars are legal or illegal. this one was absolutely illegal.

aloha, i've been where you are tonight so often....so angry and feeling so incredibly indignant. what has triggered this. another news report. the lack of news reports.

foxinsocks · 13/04/2007 21:24

people already knew in 2005 about the war though vvv

we're in a lib dem stronghold! labour don't even feature.

Problem, nationally, with the libdems is the lack of a decent leader I reckon.

Mercy · 13/04/2007 21:25

Britain has only just paid off its financial debt to the USA - and is forever beholden politically imo.

Does anyone else know any Iraqis? What are their views?

chocolateface · 13/04/2007 21:25

Or any potential mass murderers

PeachyChocolateEClair · 13/04/2007 21:25

Yeah Bozza I know, ours was (acording to his website)

Well the one here- I actually didnt live here then, the old one was a Tory Toady and really, really onnoxious

I vote for an MP. I vote for someone who will represent the local intrests the best. Otherwise you will regret it when the locality collapses.

Heathcliffscathy · 13/04/2007 21:26

i voted libdem btw (for the first time, directly in respose to what i saw as the absolute crime that tony blair has commited in iraq) but feel VERY angry at the utter waste of the power that could have been theirs the opportunity wasted due to their ineptitude.
