Looking at the people behind him, it looks like most of the few that applaud do it reluctantly after being incited to.
Many just stand there, possibly in shock.

TheDowagerCuntess · 11/08/2016 09:26

So what, claig?

If it came out that Trump had inadvertently armed ISIS, you'd still love him.

Lweji · 11/08/2016 09:27

It's perfectly possible that Hillary's decisions ended up accidentally arming ISIS.
Many US administrations have accidentally (or less accidentally) armed different factions and things can get stolen from the army by enemy action.

The Taliban were part of the Mujahideen who fought Russia and were backed by the US during the Russian invasion, for example.

The shocker would be if she was shown to purposefully arm ISIS.

Instead, Trump is backing Putin.
I'll just leave this here:
(Syrian) Medics write letter to US president saying a medical facility is attacked every 17 hours by Russian-backed Syrian air force

claig · 11/08/2016 09:31

We'll have to wait and see what else Trump says in the coming 90 days. I think there is likely to be much more. Trump has probably only just started.

Lweji · 11/08/2016 09:38

He hasn't really started anything but his own downfall.

Imagine Trump playing dove to this guy's ubber hawk:

Largely unnoticed by the outside world, Russia has been stealthily shipping military vehicles to Crimea, which Putin annexed in the spring of 2014.
"The presidential election is paralysing the US, and the Republican candidate, Donald Trump, has hinted that as president he might recognise Russia’s annexation of Crimea. He seems uncertain as to where Ukraine actually is."

Crimea is/was part of the Ukraine, btw.

TheDowagerCuntess · 11/08/2016 09:43

Hopefully he 'starts' by engaging in a few televised debates with Hillary. That should be good viewing, but oddly he doesn't seem keen...

Lweji · 11/08/2016 09:49

It's the football, stupid.
It's all about the football.

TheDowagerCuntess · 11/08/2016 09:53

Desperate, isn't he...

Lweji · 11/08/2016 09:59

A list of elected Republicans endorsing Clinton:

Anyone else really disappointed in Giuliani and waiting to see when he's going to drop Trump?

MiriamKarlin · 11/08/2016 10:01

Miriam thanks for the insults

Just repeating back your definition of a fascist (10Aug 19:21:30). Do you not remember what you've posted?

MiriamKarlin · 11/08/2016 10:13

Ailicece - ISIS is a huge problem largely created by Western policy

My goodness me, commonsense has deserted you. You've conveniently excluded ISIS from a definition of fascism based on spurious misinformation. No, not created by Western policy; created by an ongoing desire to establish a caliphate and nothing must stand in its way. This requirement has been standing in the wings for decades. It's their right to establish such a place, but not in the way it is being done.

If you exclude religiously-based ideology as NOT being fascistic then you are cherry-picking. And quite frankly you have not lived through fascism or known anyone of that vintage who has.

MiriamKarlin · 11/08/2016 10:16

SalemsLott said: The thing is, don't enter into discussions with Claig. We must discuss without their input.

Ignore SalemsLott, she cannot debate.

JudyCoolibar · 11/08/2016 10:21

Trump already said that Hillary was the founder of Isis, now he calls her the co-founder. I think this is part of his strategy.

Trump's strategy will be to reveal what has really been going on in Syria etc.

Again, mutually contradictory statements. A strategy that involves making ridiculous allegations about the President and his opponent is one that essentially says "I talk rubbish, don't believe me". Therefore if he decides to "reveal" what is going on in Syria, what credibility could he possibly have?

Yep. The Donald talks. Please watch!!

Roussette · 11/08/2016 12:13

frogmore Thank you. I'm going to play it on repeat. Well worth watching and validates what people have said on this thread against him.

Any comments claig?

claig · 11/08/2016 12:47

Rousette, I have said that Trump changes his mind on lots of issues. At first, he said America has to take Syrian refugees, then about a week or two later, he said all Muslim immigration should be banned and now he says only from countries where there is terrorism etc. He used to be a liberal and supported Hillary and Obama. That is why I say that Trump supporters don't believe half the stuff he says and ignore his gaffes, they know it is just Trump being Trump.

Roussette · 11/08/2016 12:56

Yes claig I agree with all you say. He flip flops daily. No issue with you on that.

Yet you think that that's OK for the most powerful position in the world?

How is that going to work when he's on the international stage and there is no consistency? How's that going to work for the US when he changes what he says daily. To not believe half of what he says is not the mark of a man who can run a country.

That's what I can't understand. Anyone with half a brain cell would think... ok Trump's being Trump, he's just sounding off - at least he isnt seeking a position of power like President of the USA! Yet you seem to think this man who changes with the wind is OK for this Shock (let alone his racism, misogyny and hate filled rants)

nauticant · 11/08/2016 13:01

It's an interesting approach:

I know he lies, I know he'll say anything if he thinks it'll play well with the audience (having said the opposite the other week), I know it's not possible to know what he actually thinks about any single topic, but I think he'll be fantastic because he's told me so.

claig · 11/08/2016 13:03

'Yet you think that that's OK for the most powerful position in the world? '

It is irrelevant what I think, it is up to the American people to decide.

'How is that going to work when he's on the international stage and there is no consistency? '

The world's political class will have to learn to deal with it.

'Yet you seem to think this man who changes with the wind is OK for this'

I haven't even got a vote in the matter, millions of Americans are voting for him. I think Trump will work things out and sort things out and I think the political class across the world will have to learn to adapt to the new reality.

'What will he sort out?'

He will sort out the crooks, the puppets, the lackeys and the corrupt officials paid by lobbyists.

'What do you think he will do?'

He will end globalism, rebuild America, tear up the neoliberal globalist free trade deals, bring jobs back and restore common sense. He will end the corruption, open up the files on what has been going on, arrest a lot of the crooked elites, say what has been really going on in Syria and change US foreign policy to end the pointless wars that are costing billions after he has sorted Isis out in a matter of weeks.

nauticant · 11/08/2016 13:17

... and you just wait and see what he does with those loaves and fishes!

claig · 11/08/2016 13:23

'and you just wait and see what he does with those loaves and fishes'

I expect he will speak about that at his next rally.
