Ok, the old thread is nearly full. If you read the other three, I don't need to re-write everything again ;)

But you know I am referring to the case involving an Italian mother and the British social services.
Opinions welcome.

madamdefarge - lets wait until he gets his sewing badge then he'll have no excuse for not doing it himself

confuddledDOTcom · 21/12/2013 21:22

For those who want to come and talk on FB, look for MN Friends. It's hidden for now, will make it secret later. Let me know if you join so I know who to approve and not JH.

LakeDistrictBabe · 21/12/2013 21:22

@MadameDefarge

Yes you're right. The problem with conspirators is that they go back to square one even after three thousands posts because they are in love with their idea of the whole thing and not the reality (which they reject because they don't like it).

So I don't think they are able to learn anything from any reply we could give to them.

Waste of time.

Have a nice time everybody :)

no allegations, just questions.

Which is fair enough. And to be honest. thefuture, John needs to fight his own battles here.

LakeDistrictBabe · 21/12/2013 21:26

@thefuture

you are worried about an allegation about drunk driving made on a forum? Bwahaha! After he broke the law for much worse! No, excuse me but that is the biggest nonsense I ever heard! Bye bye

@confuddled

Sent you a PM.

And the future, I am NOT going to swap 'minimising' jokes about brownie badges with YOU.

John has done something UNFORGIVABLE on this thread.

The fact you seek to minimise it tells me all I need to know about his interpersonal dynamics.

But he admitted he did it!!!!

Sure you can say what you like, but context is everything. As John's partner, you must see jumping to his defence, even when you don't know the facts is going to get posts you don't like.

sometimes discretion is the better part of valour. Which is my opinion.

And btw, I don't think lake is a laydee.

But I do think, along with lots of other posters here, that she is a ferociously intelligent woman, who cares deeply about the truth and the abuse of power, and has the guts and stamina to keep lobbying for it.

thefuturesnotourstosee · 21/12/2013 21:50

I defended him regarding Brownies where I DO know the facts.

I don't believe I've defended him regarding anything else on this thread. Forgive me if I'm wrong its been a long long thread and I accept I may have made a mistake.

I'm sure Lake is all the things you say but it does come across better if she avoids insulting people it just undermines her.

I said I was off a while ago now I really must go. Good night.

ilovesmurfs · 21/12/2013 21:54

john hemming clearly doesnt care that much about families and children as he voted against the investigation into foodbanks and how to best support needy families.

MadameDefarge · 21/12/2013 21:59

Another blot of shame on his already very messy copybook.

WestmorlandSausage · 21/12/2013 22:01

it's not nice when people make untrue allegations is it? It can be quite harmful to people. Something for John to bear in mind perhaps during his campaigning?

John already explained that pub/brownies was in walking distance so no need to stand up for him. The only reason the question got asked was because he persisted in telling us that he was going to the pub AND doing the brownie run. Over more than one thread.

LakeDistrictBabe · 21/12/2013 22:20

@thefuture

In my opinion you're the unpleasant person and with no values, because you defend someone exploiting children for his own gain. And I have one GB of evidence on my hard disk, so YES HE DID IT. If you don't like it, of course you are free to say it. Don't expect any kind of sympathy here though

Grin

Told you it was addictive.

LakeDistrictBabe · 21/12/2013 22:28

MadameDefarge

Thanks

From Hemming on this thread we all got, one or another, insults or threats. This because we are standing up for the truth....

I don't really understand why we should shut up. Out of... Respect? For someone who has none of his own? Please, don't try to fool us this much.

nennypops · 21/12/2013 22:42

As for the law breaking to which you refer I am not taking sides because I never saw his original post and only have the follow up evidence of what others have posted to go on. I can not and will not conclude anything from hearsay.

So he's still not admitting it then? What a surprise.

MadameDefarge · 21/12/2013 22:44

oh he admitted it, but called it a 'mistake'.

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:08

future

You are in absolutly no postion to lecture people on how to behave. As documented by the press. So please, spare me the pearl clutching over a really minor outburst by MN standards

confuddledDOTcom · 21/12/2013 23:25

I am in hysterics this evening at the idea of an MP needing his missus to back him up on MN. Do you go into Parliament too? Kind of reminded me of Michelle Obama and the Danish PM.

MadameDefarge · 21/12/2013 23:33

but confuddled, John has finally confirmed that he is posting as a private citizen NOT an MP.

his posting of confidential court documents, which he had access to purely in his capacity as an MP, was a 'mistake'.

I would love to see what would happen to an employee who decided to use confidential work documents to support their case on a public forum.

The sack, for gross misconduct, would be my guess.

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:35

How come he isn't posting ?

Did the party whip do some cracking ?

MadameDefarge · 21/12/2013 23:36

come back John, don't let the party Mandarin's stop you from exercising your right to post as a private individual.

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:39

Was he banned for outing ? Or is that not a bannable offence ?

MadameDefarge · 21/12/2013 23:40

Is he banned? Could MNHQ confirm one way or another?

CarpeVinum · 21/12/2013 23:42

How shoud we ask ? Via site stuff board ?
